Till the end I hoped that it wasn't true, that it was just Nian plan so that Yan could forget him and marry that…
SonnyFreya - here's the link to the filmed happy ending I told you about. It's 10 minutes and 18 seconds long. It's good; not in as much detail as the novel - but it's happy. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoWfG2aDkd0
This is the LEGIT happy ending we've all been waiting for because I've watched it. <3<3 It's 10 minutes and 18 seconds of being given the damn ending we should've got in the first place. :D
The last couple of scenes had me a bit confused......The father and son left, but the wolho and the boy (can't remember his name) are laid out on the grass and her dress is pristine....what did I blink and miss? However up to that point I liked it - though it could be said his mother made him a monster......
Oh I'd LOVE Vampire Knight to be made into a live ion, but change the damn ending! My Little Monster would be brilliant too.....Psycho-Pass, Monochrome Factor,Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki, Shish a no Teikoku, Inu x Boku SS, Natsume Yuujinchou, Wolf's Rain, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (and it's NOT incest, they are NOT related), Kurozuka, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Ao no Exorcist, Kamisama Hajimemashita (though J. Michael Tatum MUST dub Tomoe - end of, his voice (also the dubbed for Sebastian in Black Butler) is to literally die for) and Shisha no Teikoku.
I'd love to see some of the Studio Ghibli make it to live action land - Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky.....also there's the more 'normal' and 'slice of life' Ghibli stories - From Up on Poppy Hill, Whisper of the Heart and Ocean Waves (aka I can hear the sea). Kiki's Delivery Service has already been made into a pretty good live action movie, so I can't see why these others wouldn't transfer just as well. :)
Is there anyone who has read the book? Questions need to be asked!!! pls T.T
Likewise and it really did - I cried even harder when I watched it, because you realise that this part of the story was there *purely* because Aya didn't get to really have that experience when she was alive.
?Even now? sometimes? I want to hear her voice so badly.? ? Haruto
Makes me cry every time T.T
What I really liked is that so many of these 'special episodes' are just BTS and outtake reels; interesting to a few, but not to most fans. However, this was a GENUINE (very) special episode and, though a recap in some ways, it was also good to see how everyone dealt with Aya's passing and how their own lives have changed/moved on/developed in the time since.
So many dramas, nearly all really, just end.Full stop.No more - the tragic dramas/movies are the worst offenders for this kind of finale. They leave you in a puddle of snot and tears of your own making; with a broken heart wondering how the other characters survived when you, merely a watcher of the unfolding tragedy, are in this state.
So to have a recap (cue another river of tears with an additional waterfall of sobbing induced snot) and yet also a TRUE ending - that was DEFINITELY deserving of the title 'special'.

It was why, when they made the series, her mum asked that there be a 'love interest' side story as her daughter never actually got to experience that in real life, and it's the one thing the mum wished she could've.....which just made me cry even harder when I watched it.
