She is definitely doing a great job in making us hate her character :)

Her jealousy stems from the fact, that both she and her brother, never worked for anything in their lives, everything was handed down to them on a gold platter

I think sangchul takes it further beyond the cultural realms, because Yoojung told him off in Episode 8 in the bar "seniors shouldn't force their juniors into doing things they don't want to" it gave me the thought that sangchul is a bit more extreme in these cultural aspects

Yes exactly, and I think it's BECAUSE of these contrasts between Yoojung and InHo's reaction to certain situations, that make people feel Yoojung is in the wrong

@oyaaaji AWESOME examples, because I didn't look at these scenes so much. That hospital scene in a way, shows you that just like she thinks it's alright, he did it with the right INTENT. Yoojung also thinks the same way when he retaliates..having the same thought "with the right intent"

LOVE both of your ideas guys, and @oyaaji that is the GREATEST spoiler from the webtoon, because now we know that our main leads are not those angelic characters, but are so different than the norm, and I truly love it.

Here are similarities between both Seol and Yoojung that I want to add to all the great stuff you mentioned @Phoenix0607 :)

Both are hardworking, determined to do well, want to be loved and feel neglected by their own family. HS witnessed how her brother got spoiled by her father and even her mother and YJ had to experience the same with the Baek siblings. Both don't tell what is on their mind. Both are used by others (look at what happened with the preparations for the party. Noone wanted to hang the posters on the street, only YJ/HS did it alone; or for example seol's first group project)

@oyaaji I can't wait to see that "dark" side of seol, I really hope they will include it in the drama :) so at least we can finally understand why Yoojung told the thief, "me and her are the same type of people"

Yes I'll call you crazy, and I'm joining you on the madness because my feels for seol and Yoojung keeps increasing and not decreasing :)

@darkn3s Your point about the affect of having good people surrounding us, ultimately changing us for the better, is PERFECT and I had mentioned it earlier about Minsoo's character as well.

Whether we like to admit it or not, the environment we grow up in has a huge impact on shaping us behaviorally and morally. Yoojung on the surface has everything to be desired: looks, status, and popularity. Yet what people are not understanding is that deep down, he ALWAYS has to work hard to everything he does to be acknowledged. In contrast to INHO'S character where he gets everything in his life right, because he was born a prodigy. So when you see both people, I would feel more for Yoojung because he works hard to be appreciated.

@Marooya lol I didn't mean Yoojung was annoyed, I meant seol was the one who came to him being annoyed. Like he got the results he wanted (which was to annoy seol) yet I'm positive he stopped stalker dude from approaching her again, giving me the impression that somehow he miscalculated the situation?

He is definitely not innocent and you can see by his smirk when he remembered the situation too

@desertbanshee you are right about her being a magnet for stalkers :)

But I feel that Minsoo only wanted to eat lunch with seol (even from first semester) and somehow was never able to, as either seol rejects or her friends reject it for her. Minsoo wanted it at least to be a reason to sit with her and maybe becomes friends. But it shows you, that sometimes the CIRCUMSTANCES and how we react (Bora) can have an affect on the overall outcome (minsoo retaliating..etc)

I couldn't agree more, it's perfection, with how well the characters are played out

Wow I LOVE this so much. Our CHEESE deserves all the love it can get. China is a huge market, so for it to be doing so well this early, tells you there is no limit to how perfect the actors are doing their roles here.
