I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS DRAMA!!!!!!!!! Till the last scene of the last episode, it felt like I was watching a book come to life. The way the entire story unfolded and kept me on the edge till the last scene - freaking PERFECTION! The characters felt so real and yet were so out-of-the-box. Basically so many things about this drama screamed ORIGINAL and EDGY. A rare combination achieved by the master Nojima Shinji who is one of my favourite writers. Once you start, you won't be able to stop until you finish it. This one's definitely one of my favourite drama from 2023 that had a great combination of romance, mystery, psychological and slice-of-life done right. Highly highly recommend this gem for everyone.
A wonderful slice of life drama that leaves you feeling warm and loved, like you were given a big hug. Thank you to the entire team for this gem. Maida Nono, please take a bow! She's so young but damn I found her believable as a 40 year old from the moment she came on screen. Such phenomenal, nuanced acting! Her brilliant performance took this already great script to greater heights. I cried and laughed with her. Thanks to her, this drama will stay with me for a long long time. Highly highly recommended for all!
WOW what a drama! A heartwarming and wholesome journey of a man on a beautiful red Honda tracing his wife's last steps throughout Japan in what turned out to be a liberating experience for him. This was by no means a romantic drama, but it was all about the love and devotion the FL had for her husband. They were companions and her death set him out on this journey where he learnt to grieve, reconcile his past, and come out of his shell a little more. Highly highly recommended for all. Don't miss this wonderful drama and story.
P.S Dramas like these make me realise how much those who don't watch J dramas are missing out on.
Episode 4. The attention to detail, those emotions, the red Honda beauty, the lovely scenery, the meaningful encounter, the wife's care and love for her husband FREAKING ALL OF IT just blew me away.
Sakamoto Yuji disappointed with this one. It just didn't feel like he wrote this. Dropped, as it couldn't sustain my interest. Pity, I quite like the cast and the setting.
damn, you have watched a lot of J dramas. as a 20-year-old i for some reason find pre iPhone 5 6 eras fun 1990s…
Haha I love shows / movies pre-2000s a lot more too! Much more authentic, real and yet feel good [at least a lot more than what we make today] what's your favourite J drama / movie from the 90s?
