can't agree more with you bud. Wasted a few hours and get a wtf ending. Everything seemed so cliche - sleeping next to someone who smells like a dirty rag and not realizing, halfas.s tying someone up so they can escape, and losing your mind for a second and go on a killing spree? Come on man. This movie is like a beautiful table vase with some visual defects, defects that worth a store return. The movie kept me till the end but the ending was very very disappointing.
Love all of the above except for Nigeru Wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu. The chemistry just wasn't there, at least to me. Story wasn't interesting either. I'm just missing out on a good drama I guess - good for anyone else who enjoyed it.
Love Shuffle should have made the list. Some other pretty good ones are Soratobu Kouhoushitsu, Umi no Ue no Shinryoujo, and Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku.
I don't know what it feels like to be stalked, but if you know someone's stalking you in the middle of day light, it makes no sense to be running towards alleys that nobody walks around or rushing home alone.

lol I've been checking this page couple times a week but I don't see anyone else having the same opinion as mine, except for u. Either way, all of us, no matter who we ship, all know who Chang Sheng will end up with. The outcome of his destiny and the downfall of Qiu Shan Jun are more interesting.

I can't seem to agree with that. But maybe that's really how it used to work back then. Any martial art master can disguise himself as a servant in order to get inside the palace, then once in while, he can just randomly kill a person to stir up trouble. I don't think you can organize guards in such a manner that you can protect everyone. Once in while, the martial art master can just poison someone, or he can just throw a dagger and kill a random servant, or snap someone's neck while he's behind that person, or he can just randomly set one of the buildings on fire when he's bored. I'm just saying, no matter how you plan your guards, if someone really wants to stir up trouble, they will eventually find a way to blend in then make trouble. Just my 2 cents.

Although this drama has some romance in it, it's not like the romance in Eternal Love. The romance here is very subtle, yet intense. But what I really like about this drama is the martial arts, the conspiracies, and the satisfaction when the bad guys got their butts kicked.
EDIT: there are minor flaws that seem a bit nonsensical. Like, on ep. 14&15, an eunuch got killed along with 6 imperial guards outside of the place walls, but the (dumb) emperor blamed it on his most trusted commander. How can 1 person protect ALL people in such a HUGE palace? And then there was a fire in the inner palace, and the (again, dumb) emperor blamed it on his empress, WTF? I just don't get it.

Almost everyone on this page also thought everyone would freak out when they find out about Chang Sheng's real identity, but nope, nobody freaked out.
I have a feeling that this drama will take a negative hit, causing its score to drop below 8.4. Almost everyone on here wants Luo Heng to be with Chang Sheng or at least have a happy ending. After watching episodes 37 & 38, I don't think their wish would come true.........

When she found out that Chang Sheng has never stopped thinking about her, she realized her feelings for him, but she's not sure what she needs to do when she likes someone.
I think Bextiyar Gulnezer is doing a good job portraying You Rong in this drama. I have not seen her acting in other dramas so I can't say she's a good or bad actress. Unlike most people here who ship Chang Sheng and Luo Heng, I think Chang Sheng's better with You Rong.
I think the romantic development between Chang Sheng and You Rong will get more exciting as the story goes on. You Rong will eventually figure out that Luo Heng also likes Chang Sheng as a man and she'll probably explode with jealousy. I think that's when she'll be able to express her feelings openly.

I looked at your drama list and saw that you've seen both Nirvana in Fire and Eternal Love. I've been hesitating to watch Nirvana in Fire. I know both dramas are very different, but is Nirvana in Fire actually better than Eternal Love?
I'm liking it so far, but there are just so many plot holes. Cheng Ze sneezes every time someone lies in front of him, but there were incidents where someone lied to him but he didn't sneeze. Yan Shu's mom remarried Jun Yao's father about 8 years ago, but they have a son who's 10 years old? Is something wrong with my math here?
What's even more annoying is the long flashback scenes. If someone were to put the flashback scenes back to back, we'll get a total of 10 episodes. Flashbacks are necessary, but not like every 10 minutes.
It's hard not to hate some of the characters in this drama. The misunderstandings just make my blood boil. Looking forward to the main leads' romance ^^

Half way through the 1st episode right now, I can't help but wonder why the tax officers aren't equipped with cameras before they walk into other people's houses to collect money or valuable items?
I mean, it makes the job easier and the records will prove when someone deliberately stops them from doing their job or when someone starts a fight against them or when they do find something valuable. I don't know how Korean tax departments work, but having cameras on them before they walk in someone's house is to protect both parties. I suppose if they did have cameras on them, we wouldn't have this drama made........
Based on the reviews and positive feedback, I had really high expectations of this drama; but who the heck buys a car without seeing its owner face to face or going together to a mechanic to do a quick check or even see the car's registration and contract? Do people just transfer money first, then go find the car's owner for the contract? If you're buying a car on sites like Craiglist and the seller says I can't meet you 'cuz I live far away, I'm pretty sure you'll hang up at that point. It's obviously a scam.
Okay, maybe Baek Seong's supposed to be a naive character, but for someone who works as a tax officer for 8 years, it's highly unlikely that he'll get conned like that. I'm quite disappointed in the first episode.

Someone somehow got a hold of my credit card info and used it to buy iTunes songs like every 2 minutes, until the bank closed down my account thinking it's fraud. With that said, I don't know how why the old man in episode was getting conned into thinking he'd need to withdraw all of his money from the bank? I mean, that itself just doesn't make any sense. Do Korean banks not let people close their current account and transfer the money to another account?
Liking it so far. I just find it funny how people can decide someone's a murderer just because someone died in front of their house. And what's even more absurd is how people come to accept that a suspect is not a murderer just because some random stranger says he's not the murderer.
