The epic music!! And the epic story are really similar. The main lead Hong Gil Dong also played here and this was the reason why he also could land a lead role in Rebel. The story here, however, is more complex because it depicts the fall of Georyeo and the creation of Jeoseon.

Cha Tae Hyun plays the main lead and it is like a rollercoaster of emotions just like Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds. Lots of crying but full of hearth warming moments and good laughs scattered throughout the movies. Endings are fascinating, as well.

Delves further into an occupation, this time psychiatry and mental illness. Same writer and director, Kwangsoo as a support role, Sung Dong Il also as a support role with a really great relationship. It's relatable and talks about the realities of the job and how mental illnesses are more prevalent than we think. Like Live, it's a really beautiful watch.

Both dramas deal with the rich youth of Seoul. Family drama that is interconnected with other characters in the drama. Both female lead don't like the male lead at the beginning. Bet is part of both dramas.

It's a medical drama where the focus is not on the medicine, and has a lot of romance in it. The main characters know each other before they start working in the hospital, and there is a misunderstanding between them that made them hate each other.

Although unrelated plotwise, they both have a cute female lead with a crazy active imagination. These imagination scenes are pretty amusing to watch. The Big Boss is a school drama meant for a younger audience, while Face Off has some mature content.

If you enjoy the taboo theme of Student x Teacher then you should watch these. In both, we have a high school girl falling in love with her teacher, however in DSS the plot is a bit different because it features a love triangle while in My Teacher there isn't much of one.
