Can't remember name of Kdrama2 hours ago
They have similarities, melodrama with the same kind of sadness and a love story. AIMH however has a childhood connection that GML doesn't. AIMH is sad but not quite a realistic as GML - but they still give you the same feelings.
Both dramas deal with the topic of relationships, love and sex in a more realistic and mature manner. They both feature couples that deviate from what is considered "traditional" in Korean culture, and explore how the characters love each other despite each others flaws.
Unlike "It's Okay, That's Love" however, "The Lover" is more comedy than it is drama (sex jokes everywhere). While it does hit some serious notes, it splits it's attention between 4 couples and it's emotional tone overall is not as deep as IOTL.

Two dramas with two different plots. But still, there are some similiarities like: both are about brothers who don't get along, past wounds and both are 4 episodes long.
Both dramas are action dramas with amazing action scenes and with a very similar dark and mature atmosphere.
Kim So Hyun shows her excellent acting skills, while also portraying an almost typical high school teenager girl, with added problems including bullying and the loss of a loved one.
Not only does the main female protagonist care deeply for their child, they both feel deeply to bring justice to the world and shut criminals away. They also have their detective male leads who would rather run to their side than chase after a criminal.
Both of the main male protagonists try to find out more about their past and find out clues as to what caused a past incident to happen. And the main female leads always stick with the man's side, despite going through their own difficulties.
Both male lead have a temper and goes to great length to get the girl. Both lead are in a powerful positions and the main females are tough chick, and take no sh*t from them lol.
The leading male both know what they want and who they love. They also powerful and doesn't let anything stand in their way of getting the girl
Loads of similarities! Both have a younger man, who do interpretive dance and is feeling lost in life, fall for an older woman, who is also in need of some company and someone to trust. The tone is very different but the characters are surprisingly similar.
It has same story line but it's only made in japan. Both versions come from the original japanese manga ''Itazura na Kiss''
In both specials there are female ghosts who haunt a man until secrets are revealed.
they both have the girls fiance willing to become monsters to find their lovers captors, My Beautiful Bride is not horror based and has some romance.
Both have cohabitation hijinks and both are love stories about a star and a regular girl.
Both movies focus on love and power struggle intrigues behind the closed doors of the Imperial Palace.
