Abyss had so much potential with that all stars cast and the fantasy story. However, the drama got quickly boring and messy.

The drama had a nice dynamics between the two leads. They were funny and cute together. However, the romance took forever to progress and the ending was terrible. The mystery part was good at first as well, but it got complicated and messy. Plus, the fantasy part was not properly presented or explained.

At least, the performances were good, as expected, from everyone in the cast and the pacing interesting.

So, five out of ten.

With a score of 9 and a majority of positive reviews, I decided to give this a watch on Netflix.

Story.
The plot overall is light. There is no real super mystery/silly plot twist/revenge plan as per the usually Korean dramas. There was a few lost plots in the middle. such as any of the characters actually being athletes.

Cast & Characters.
I really struggled with the female lead. As a character, Kim Bok Joo was really disjointed; it's as if the writers tried to fit her into every female mold there is without any consideration. This, as a character, made her really annoying. She was immature, and very self-centred as a character. Even when she was trying to do something for someone else, it was usually for her own agenda. She really didn't deserve Jung Joon Hyeong. Also, the crying scenes. Good lord, I had to fast forward because they were so bad. Lee Sung Kyung's acting left a lot to be desired with the two facial expressions she had.

Also, why did everyone feel the need to shout all the time? I am still trying to find the value in Jung Nan Hee's character as all she did was shout and cry about how hard things were without her friend. I felt like the show was trying to overall the female friendship aspect with such a character.

Although Jung Joon Hyeong's character didn't have too much depth, he was a very enjoyable male lead and overall had a very precious personality.

Music.
There was quite a few nice songs, especially Dream.

Rewatch Value.
Not much to be honest. There was a few good scenes that you could rewatch but not a series as a whole.

Overall: I think the show is highly overrated. I get why people like it but to me it was a massive letdown.

One thing is sure- this is the best drama in Reply series and the best Korean family drama I have ever seen. I can't stand makjang, I can't stand Korean family dramas of 50 episodes and I don't watch them. Nor I was some fan of previous Reply series. I find them overrated and not interesting enough but this one really got me. It was on different level in terms of family relationship and bonding, in terms how each member of those families has won me and made me fall in love with all of them.

Honestly, I have never got attached to more than one family in some drama but here I got too deep into the story of every family. Their interactions, their actions, their conversations, it all felt so raw, so real and so damn natural. I totally had a feeling like they're my neighbors and their kids my friends.

The reason why I love this Reply so much is also cause of the '80s, that nostalgic period of time where my parents were young and had their own kids and friends like the adults in this Reply, that period of time where some of the best movies and music artists appeared. I love how they made all so real, like in the real '80s, from their clothes, make up, haircuts, electrical devices, houses to music, movies, cinemas, bars, taverns. Production is awesome for this drama, I don't have one single complain about that. Plus OST is so wonderful, some songs are made to be danced to them, some are so melancholic with some sad tones and some are so beautiful and made for pure enjoyment while listening them.

I didn't care for the husband hunt. I really didn't care. While in other two Reply dramas that romance part was much more important and pretty much the whole drama plot, here it was just on the outside the main plot but actually inside of it that was the least important. Here words like family, friends, childhood, bonding, neighbors are way more big than romance. Which worked totally fine for me.

These families are pure gold. I laughed so much with them, I cried with them, I rooted with them, cheering with them, screaming and yelling with them, I was singing and dancing with them, they did all that to me. One family though stood up the most and that would be the Kim's. Omo, family like that is so freaking rare, I mean president Kim must be the most unique and funny dad ever with most gentle and good heart, his wife, Mi-ran is one hell of a mom, the coolest mom ever and so crazy, I seriously adore that woman, she carried the whole show for me truthfully. And their kids, JB- one big guy with big dreams who always wants to help everyone and always smiles, such a sensitive, romantic and funny soul; and JH- oh well I could talk about that guy whole night and day.
He is for me the most complex character in this drama, the one who was the most selfless, most realistic and strong one, yes the one who didn't show his feeling to the end to anyone ever but through his actions you could feel and see that, sometimes words aren't enough to say and explain what heart feels and agree completely with that saying. You could feel his emotions if you'd want to, that's what I think. And no matter what he was there for everyone, for his parents- how he in one episode did that stupid joke with his dad just to make him smile, how he continued to follow and to accomplish his brother's dream, how he prepared that awesome surprise for his mom's birthday, how he helped Taek in some way in most crucial moment, how he drank with Sun-woo in silence and was beside him to comfort him, I mean he is just too perfect and I was so satisfied and my heart was full when I saw him smile at the end, I knew he was happy. ;)

There are others I loved, Mr. Choi-Taek's dad, very cool and charismatic man, Bo-ra with all her intelligence and vulnerability combined with being strong and tough, DR- the hilarious, funny, crazy and always supportive friend who just knows what to say and when, so many wonderfully written characters are in this drama and that is what captured me. And their friendship, between those little 5 friends from their childhood till who knows when, they had so much fun together, so many sad moments, difficult moment, amazing and adventurous ones, I can only admire that powerful bond they had. And those three women, their craziness in their ages, their full loyalty to each other and care, just fantastic. That is what drama is about. Completely firm and undeniable friendship.

One thing I just didn't like is that romance part. It was weak for my taste and two last episodes were really weak from that point. I didn't mind who was the hubby at the end, well I was sad and cried a little and watched all I could find about other second lead but I accepted as DS's decision and her choice. And that was what actually bothered me. I won't say much cause opinions are so subjective and different so from my point of view I couldn't feel her chemistry in that amount with neither of them. I felt and saw love from second lead's and from main guy but from her head and heart it was too rushed and even after I read many things about clues and all those feelings, yes I could see that he was the one but as for her, it was too rushed and not deep at all. Also what made me angry it was that part when you make some guy to be a main role, having his narrating, voice, feelings, actions, everything from his point of view and then not include him in last two episode with enough screen time, I think it's very unfair and illogical. At least we should see how they stayed as cool as before, how they talked about that what he said even as a joke, at least they should say one damn sentence at the end as adults- like he is there and there, and also about DR, I mean those guys are main leads in this drama, they deserve it. I didn't like how it all came down to the Sung's, DS , Bo-ra and happenings only in that family.
But that is of course my own opinion. As for the rest it is absolutely amazing and outstanding drama and it should be seen most definitely. it is truly one heartwarming, sweet, great story about one little part of the neighborhood, families who live there, their kids, their stories, their adventures, their lives. And everyone of us could easily identify with them. I know I did and it was a great and unforgettable journey.
Kim Jung Hwan, I'll miss you, good bye ;)

I'll start off by saying that I love Zhao Lusi and she's the main reason I started watching. ZYC is also a hottie, so that made the series on my watch list for sure. However, I was actually quite disappointed by the storyline and editing, so this actually landed on my skip list after finishing.

Con#1: While other people were upset about Zhao Lusi's impersonation, I was actually upset about the first girl that took over Zhao Lusi's limelight. When I realized it was deliberate, I was more appeased, but the sudden character change felt jarring. The transition wasn't smooth, which brings me to:

Con #2: Terrible, terrible editing for this drama. I heard the production for this series was expensive, but they couldn't have invested a bit more money post-production to string the storyline better? Everything felt like it JUST occurred out of the blue and there's no rhyme or reason behind it.

Con #3: Much too creepy acting from ZYC. A lot of fans might think the way he spoke and acted was just flirty, but I actually found it very cringey. Nevermind the stalking for over 1000+ years, nevermind the random walk-in to her bedroom in the middle of the night, nevermind the deliberate teasing and touching of her when she was trying to get the lamp, nevermind any and all of that. Just the way he said her name made me cringe so hard...it felt too intimate.

Con #4: Second Prince Er Lang. Dude they really selected a good actor to play dumb. They did so well that I couldn't register him as the 2nd Prince when he revealed his identity. It was always Er Lang ?. And while he had the princely stature, he just didn't have the gravita to carry such a role. I felt the First Prince (his brother) was hot though lol and although he's punier in comparison, he was convincing.

Con #5: So many freaking plotholes. The ending sucked. There was zero explanation about it. Somehow things always manage to conveniently occur or appear when it's critically needed. Things just HAPPENED. No leadup to why.

Con #6: There was little to no character growth for any of the characters, with exception to Xuan Zhu. She was very consistent throughout the drama and in the end, although she made the ultimate sacrifice, she's aware of herself enough that point to know that it wasn't all altruistic. I enjoyed that. She was true to herself and took action to do what she wanted.

The con list is somewhat long , but I'm sure there's more.

The only pros with this drama is that it started Zhao Lusi, ZYC, Dai Yun Fan and Molly Wang to make a very watchable cast. The rest is utterly forgettable.

Healing, beauty and acceptance wrapped in spooky fairytales

Gosh, I spent 70% of this show with a lump in my throat, 10% with happy warmth in my chest and 20% bawling my eyes out.

It's a fast, intense, twisty emotional roller coaster that keeps you engaged throughout.

The best thing about this drama is the smart and impactful portrayal of mental illness. It's not preachy, it's not overly idealistic, it doesn't try to pretend to be extra woke, it's not trying to pass itself as an educational program- it's really just a touching story about three damaged, emotionally stunted people who are trying to get by.

I am not a medical professional and I am not gonna waste time trying to analyze all the symptoms and guess the disorders and argue about that because that's grossly missing the point.

The main focus of this drama was showing the pain, frustration and sorrow that comes with suffering from trauma, dealing with conditions out of your hands and the hurt that comes with mental illness for both who have it and their family members.
But most of all it highlights the strength of these people, about how they help each other and get help from each other to make things a bit better.

It beautifully expresses themes of understanding, resilience, love and friendship between people who've had a very tough life.

Ofcourse, in typical K drama fashion, it's not without its cheesy tropes, cliches and some flair for dramatics but despite all of that it gets the message across in a powerful manner.

The beauty of it is that despite being filled with heartbreaking and emotional moments that make you shed tears and snot, it never lets the dark side become overpowering by adding much needed comic relief and heart warming moments that make you giggle and feel good inside.

There is extra charm in people who are beautiful AND excellent actors. All the cast delivers phenomenally with the two main leads having electric chemistry with each other and sharing glorious, steamy kisses that will go down in k drama history. ;)

The show is easy to watch with a bit of suspense, thrill, murder mystery, psychotic parents and drama mixed with emotion, heart and healing. It's fast paced peppered with wholesome slow moments and amazing character growth.

Seo Ye Ji's impulsive, passionate, gorgeously dressed, blunt, morally questionable female lead with childlike tendencies is undoubtedly a crowd favorite.

On the other hand, Kim Soo Hyun's handsome, selfless, persevering male lead with bambi eyes and a mutinous heart brings his own to the table. (Even though I am usually not a fan of his acting and feel like he has nothing behind his eyes, somehow this role happened to be convincing and basically one of his best.)

Finally, bringing them both together, the veteren Oh Jung Sae brought forth an endearing character suffering from autism who is extremely pure hearted and just trying his best.

The moments between these three are powerful and literally make you pray for these people and their happiness. The side characters are all relevant and enhance the flavor of the show

The OST is stunning, the direction is beautiful and the pretty story telling incorporating scary fairytales and creepy animations brings everything full circle.

It's definitely binge worthy and a full of feeling ride that you don't want to miss.

Enjoy!

desperately missing a compelling reason to care

Why are we getting generic dramas all year round? I was done with "my bias, my boss" and we have yet another “rom-com” that makes watching another episode feel like a chore. Is it so hard to make a rom-com where you don’t have to shut off all your senses and revert back to your 12-year-old self to enjoy it?

There’s nothing of importance going on.
Nothing that made me curious. Nothing that I wanted to see unfold.
There's no excitement to watch the leads interact.

There are two things a series can do to be worthwhile - make the plot interesting or make the characters interesting enough to compensate for the underdeveloped plot. "Extraordinary you" perfected the former. "My royal nemesis" perfected the latter. Here, it's somewhere in the middle, failing to succeed at either.

One of the biggest problems here is that there is no central conflict in the story that’s worth caring about. There is no such intrigue that a villain usually brings to the story. But that’s not the biggest thing to worry about, because the leads are nothing extraordinary themselves, as I shall talk about them below.
Here every plotline moves simultaneously, so there is no starting point to follow. It’s not convoluted, thankfully, but it’s not easy on the eye either. Consequently, it makes the pacing and direction another poorly done aspect in the story, even if it's not a big deal in the big picture.
But it’s not ALL bad.
The amnesia plot is well done. The realism is present, even though it’s notorious as an eyesore of a trope.
Now, coming onto the characters in this story. They are... flat, to put it as sweetly as I can.
The ml is supposed to be a contrasting character, intimidating and powerful while being vulnerable and sweet in front of the fl. But to my offence, all he comes across as is a reserved lover boy who happens to be a gangster or whatever he is supposed to be. I can't feel any spark when he is on screen.
And this is where the gangster ml becomes difficult to pull off. If you're going to make your romantic lead a gangster, I think you need to commit to the concept somehow. You either need genuinely compelling writing and characterization, like “Vincenzo”, or you lean completely into satire and make the absurdity itself part of the appeal. What doesn't really work for me is sitting in the middle, where “gangster” feels like an aesthetic.

The FL is better written, imo, so I don't have nearly as many complaints about her. But unfortunately, that isn’t enough to make the dynamic between two people interesting. It takes two to tango or whatever they say.

A nothing-burger drama like this won’t have strong opinions from the public. And that’s where a writer can screw themselves over.
A bad drama can at least give you something to complain about. A great drama can give you something to obsess over.
But a dud drama like this? It doesn't even inspire strong feelings within me, and ironically, that itself is inspiring a really strong feeling: ANNOYANCE.
To make matters ten times worse, there is no chemistry between the leads. Because the writer honestly didn’t even allow for that to happen.
I don’t think ill ever like a writer choosing the easy way out when it comes to forming a real connection between the leads. Relying on hundreds of plot devices all at once to speed up the romance will only result in a romance like this: shallow. When are writers getting over the ml who loves the fl for absolutely no reason other than that she’s the fl?
You can use all kinds of tropes in a romance. I'm not against clichés at all. In fact, I love romantic comedies. I've loved “Extraordinary You”, “My Royal Nemesis”, ”Kill Me, Heal Me”, “Lovely Runner”, and “Mr. Queen” to name a few. All of these shows have their flaws, and all of them rely on familiar tropes. But they compensate for those flaws with something else. Chemistry. And if not that, then they have remarkable characters, they have an interesting premise, they have an addictive plot to back it up. Here, I don’t have anything to latch onto, let alone the chemistry.
And the funny thing is I can tell the writer tried to avoid cliches. The drama seems aware of the trope it’s playing with. It relies on satirical comedy (as we saw in ep 1, the amnesia trope) and twisting the cliches. But being self-aware doesn’t mean the romance will somehow work.
Because you can't make me understand why the leads need each other. infact, they are better off by themselves.
And after two consecutive failed rom-coms from Jung hae in, I think he should prolly stick to action thrillers. Atleast there he has done some justice as an actor.

Now some might say, it’s not that deep.
Well maybe it isn’t, but I don't think asking a drama to be good at what it's trying to sell is asking for too much.
If you're selling me a relaxing, cute romantic comedy, then I want a relaxing, cute romantic comedy. Not a lullaby.
Be something atleast.
Maybe this drama gave exactly what some viewers needed. Maybe they wanted something easy to watch, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But after watching countless dramas and movies, I've reached a point where “it's cute, just don't think about it” isn't enough for me anymore.
I don't want to shut my brain off for a drama with no substance. And I don't want to shut my heart off for a romance with no chemistry.
Give me one or the other. Ideally, give me both.
But the god-awful average is hurting my eyes.

An unusual and controversial female lead

I think the highlight of the drama is Zheng Shuyi’s contradictory character- she is someone who is smart and accomplished at work but is very bad at personal relationships. Her job is being a reporter and she crafts these excellent interviews and articles but when it comes to articulating what is important in her relationship or how to cherish it she is absolutely horrible. She has a low EQ AND THE person dating is reserved and non communicative but has a very high EQ and is very caring.
It’s amazing how she has this inner narrative through out the show but then does exactly the opposite in reality . This creates a weird dynamic between the lead character and makes the show a fascinating watch. I really loved how well Bai Lu played this character- it was very interesting and frustrating to watch . Dylan Wang played his role very well and their chemistry was beautiful - very intuitive I will definitely rewatch this one again.

Enjoyed it!

I'm not into Republican Era drama but Chen Xing Xu caught attention. He looked so good in military uniform as did all the supporting male characters did as well. The story is well-paced. Male and female lead is both smart and strategic. They were made for each other. I enjoyed watching male lead scheme to get his way, in a good way of course. He comes off as a jerk but that's just a cover. Female lead is a smart business woman and she knows what she wants, whether in business or love. She doesn't allow male lead to string her along and she stands up for herself. All the supporting cast did well in their roles. There are ones you love and ones you hated so much. I think the only character I found truly annoying is male lead's sister. The music is okay but for this drama, I wouldn't want the music to be the redeeming point. Overall, I'm glad I stumbled on this and gave it a shot!

This show is very well acted and has an interesting story line. Lots of people LOVED this show and if you are a fan of cute romances, quirky characters, and a mystery plot as well, you might really enjoy it.

However, for me, there are too many of my pet peeves that are a big part of this show. Now these are MY pet peeves so it no doubt influenced the way I saw the show. they may not bother you at all. But below are my thoughts.

I'm not a fan of bullies who don't learn to stop bullying, people who consistently doubt themselves or whine, and irrational parents. This show has all three. Thankfully there wasn't any Noble Idiocy, so that was indeed a plus.

For example, There is a group of women who are terrible bullies to the FL. I mean horrible. Later in the show, they stop bullying her, but they don't actually change which means someone else could and would fall into their bullying. They don't have any consequences for their actions and they practically try to destroy the FL before they ever try to be nice. It's simply not ok. Also there are two characters who resort to blackmail in very cruel ways and who also don't seem to ever see it's wrong. And yet, we are supposed to care what happens to them. One even dies and I still couldn't find myself empathizing with her situation...I even found myself annoyed to see her in flashbacks sometimes. We are supposed to see all these people as complex humans where they grow and learn...but they don't really grow...at least not where you could tell. They all had seriously rough lives and you're supposed to understand how they came to be who they are now, but it doesn't work for me. It feels more like instead of changing, they just adjusted their focus to NOT being a pain for the main characters anymore. Like if a bully gets beaten up by his prey, so the bully quits bothering that target and finds another target. The bully doesn't change though.

There's a male character who seems to be the only person who actually changes a little from being a horrible human to a decent person, but even he seems like he could fall back into his old ways easily...though you are given hope that he won't. I did grow to understand the FL's Mom and I could empathize with her because she really does seem to try to make amends and be better.

The FL is a great actress, but the character ended up bugging me. She was mousy at first and then she'd get strong and you'd want to root for her, but then she'd fall back into her old pattern. Back and forth, back and forth. UGH! Just stop. I wanted to shout at her, "Yes, your life was miserable and you were given a LOT of hardship, but look, you survived and things are getting better...stop dwelling on what you never had!" I got very tired of her whiny side.

I did like that they used voiceovers to tell part of the story. It was an interesting aspect of the production. They also did a good job with interweaving the backstories. Though I didn't particularly like most of the characters, I did understand their connections a bit through the backstories and that was good, but in some cases (like with the ML's Mom) instead of helping me like her more, it made me even more frustrated with her character.

As I said, LOTS of folks loved this show and it could have been that it just hit all my pet peeves for me. You might love it.

Love lots for Ao Rui Peng and Tian Xi Wei as the main couple leads ♥

I love it especially the main couple, Li Yuhu (Tian Xi Wei) and Qi Tianlei (Ao Rui Peng). They're so cute and lovely together ♡
This is a light romcom and have a happy ending, with Ao Rui Peng and Tian Xi Wei as the main leads, I really like them both. Their cute, sweet and funny moments always makes me giggle ♡
Both first and second couples have the chemistry with their own love story. Thus, the story is good the way it is, I still enjoyed watching it until their happily ever after ♡
Anyway, Wrong Carriage, Right Groom suits the whole story. The accident turned out to be their fated love. It's all about like they're having the opposite personalities and attitudes but still got attracted with each other, so the two couples had matches together perfectly. Li Yuhu is the kind of girl that Qi Tianlei actually needs. While Du Bingyan is the kind of girl that General Yuan Buqu really needs. That's why, the accidentally switching the two brides and grooms are just RIGHT and DESTINED to happen ♡

It didn't annoy me that much coz the only thing that's annoying is Ke Shizao! So the story is really not annoying for me, unlike to those negative reviewers who have very high expectations in just a light drama lmao
I don't care about the haters and their own negative reviews here, this is just a light romcom drama with a happy ending, my goodness! Shame on them who are taking everything seriously and expecting too much, pwe!

Easily One Of The Best K-dramas of 2021…

Supernatural K-dramas have been done countless times before in K-dramas, so, just what makes " Sell Your Haunted House" stand out? Well, it’s important to be honest by saying that like most dramas out there, it does have its ups and downs. However, “ Sell Your Haunted House” has a beguiling charm due to its cast, storyline and themes.

As a character, Ji Ah could have easily become irksome for viewers as the archetypical ” angst-ridden orphan female lead adorned in black”, but, actress Jang Na Ra undeniably brought a dynamic ambience around her role as our mysterious psychic. (Which is hard to imagine any other actress being able to imitate.)

This is shown case and point during one of the most emotional scenes of the series when, the emotionally conflicted Ji Ah, comes face to face with her mother Hong Mi Jin (Baek Eun Hye). The battle of tears behind Jang Na Ra’s eyes became one of the most beautifully emotional and poignant moments of acting throughout the entirety of the drama.

Although , it’s important not to turn a blind eye towards some of the show’s downfalls either;not least with Jung Young Hwa’s performance as In Beom. This is not to spark hatred towards the actor as he is undeniably really good. ( As shown in previous roles such as “ The Three Musketeers”.)However , Jung Young Hwa’s performance honestly lacked zest at the best of times- sadly not helping to truly authenticate his character via performance alone .

Every cloud has a silver lining and this certainly became prominent by the character development of Young Hwa’s onscreen persona In Beom. Whilst In Beom’s introduction did seem to establish initial warning bells that he could go down the road as the tiresome " comic relief" , however, the male lead was offered the chance to escape this trope by using screentime to explore his conflicted emotions ( especially over his " gift") and his ambivalent morality surrounding later events of the series . This did not seal In Beom as being ”heinous" or "bad"; he is a kind-hearted person, just refreshingly not a "flawless hero" or the " perfect love interest" either.

On this front, it is important to admit that tastes may vary upon the " romance" between our leads; for the most part, it is incredibly platonic. Without spoilers, the link between our leads is similar to being " soulmates", rather than having a passionately romantic undertone . Admittedly whilst this did serve a refreshing break from the cliche-ridden romanticised relationships of dramas, tastes will evidently vary for viewers. ( Therefore if you’re expecting a particularly passionate romance in this supernatural drama , then " Sell Your Haunted House" isn’t for you.)

Even our side characters grew in different ways. Joo Hwa Jung ( Kang Mal Geum) seems to start off the series as Ji Ah’s pompous and self-righteous assistant, however, the series helped to explore her complicated backstory and bond with Ji Ah . Heo Ji Cheol ( Kang Hong Suk)- the self-proposed “ Chief”- and one of In Beom’s closest friends Kim Tae Jin ( Heo Dong Won), seemed to be established as the " comic dead weights" in the series, however, they did provide themselves to be more than cliches with their actions during moments of tension . However, it was equally entertaining to spend time with our cynical detective Kang Han Suk ( Kim Sung Bum) gradually developing credulity and respect for our psychic Ji Ah’s help during crimes. To top it all off, Kim Mi Kyung’s guest appearance in episode 13 ( as the Blue Salt Owner/exorcism supply craftswoman) was short, but, her added charm and sassy tone during line deliverances helped to establish an unusually respectful relationship between Ji Ah and the craftswoman.

Yet whilst "Sell Your Haunted House" had some formidable tour de force moments and characterisation , it did seem to struggle with establishing a more profound antagonist. Now, arguably ( without spoilers), there are two major antagonists here, however, the one which should be mentioned is certainly Do Hak Sung ( Ahn Kil Kang). Let’s be honest. Yes, he did serve his purpose as the " driving force" of events in the series. But , for our trio of screenwriters ( Ha Soo Jin, Jung Yeon Seo and Lee Young Hwa) to have otherwise created profoundly-developed characters , Hak Sung was the ultimate anomaly by fitting the trope as the "moustache twirling villain" of the series.

On the other hand, the one thing which ‘ Sell Your Haunted House’ truly authenticated was tackling difficult subjects as a social criticism of the South-Korean housing system through the differing backstories of the dead. From a vengeful spirit yearning for unearned incomes, property evictees and more , " Sell Your Haunted House" builds onto a fresh premise with a mixture of horror, supernatural and thriller genres.

The ending was fairly appropriate for the genre. It’s easy for some viewers to feel a little underwhelmed by the anticlimactic battle, however, the series did use time in between to wrap off storylines and permit an appropriate farewell to our main characters.

So, is it worth watching? In between a spine-tingling OST and a generic villain," Sell Your Haunted House" offers an oddly dynamic take on the supernatural genre. It isn’t without its faults or flaws, but, its intriguing characters and a fairly stellar cast easily establish it as one of the few good dramas to have come out of 2021, so far...

The story itself is so unique. You always see drama's that involve romance and comedy, there are even a ton of gender benders. But none quite like Hi My Sweetheart. Xue Hai held the award for biggest dork and completed the look with a mushroom head haircut, thick rimmed glasses and an under bite. Bao Zhu was shunned by everyone and didn't care what they thought until "Lin Da Lang" came to school.

One of the best things is that until about episode 5 the gender roles are reversed. Instead of the "innocent girl" falling for the "bad boy," You have an innocent boy falling for the girl everyone hates.

The casters did an amazing job with casting Show Luo as the main lead, seeing as he's a giant piece of eye candy. Rainie, who played an innocent girl in "Devil Beside You" did an amazing job with an opposite role. Together the two of them will have you wanting to cry at sad moments and yell at the screen as if they can hear you.

This is my all time favorite drama. I've re-watched several times and will continue to re-watch it. At first I had given up at episode three but curiosity took over and I started watching it again. At first you may seem disappointed, watching a dork when you want to watch a hunk. But it's all worth it.

You won't regret watching this.

CUPID'S LAST WISH
--- The wish is not what you expect, and it is the contrary. But at the end, it worked. And I incorrectly thought of who is the "cupid" here, and it comes as a surprise. You might be too! ---

First of all, drop all what you expect form this series based on the trailer or teaser which ever you want to call it. it is not hard core drama romance, it is more of a romance comedy. Once you have establsihed and keep that in your head, you will enjoy this one, and that is for certain. Especially those Earth-Mix fandom.

If you watch Episode 1 & 4 of Our Sky, it feels the same. But the devil lies in the detail. *wink*

The inheritance issue is just a layer of the entire plot primarily focused on self-assessment and realization. Each leg of the journey adds to this enlightenment.

There will be instances that you want to smack off the face of earth Mix's character as he is out of line. But when you realize where he is coming from, the anger mellows down and be tolerant. There are scenes that Mix seems will not stop talking! And I find it cute when he nags. And watch those antics from Win, truly adorable!

When you get to the PMS episode, that is the most fun in this series. Couldn't help myself laughing and Mix is awesome!

And also, this is a departure of the urban life and travelling the rural areas of Thailand. Buddhism, which highlighted, as the major religion of the country plays an important role as well. The lines coming from the abbots can be easily applied if you are of a different belief system.

Lastly, boy don't forget about the food! Sometimes I am expecting Mark Weins of Migrationology will sunddely join the food fest. LOL Thoser river prawns!

If you are single, which probably you are, you might curse them for not being considerate in the sweet moments. Either you want to be Mix or Korn. Earth and Mix are so natural with each other, and I couldn't say more about that and you will surely notice that. They can definitely do another rom-com and surely I will watch it as well!

ACTING/CAST
=====================================
I have to give this Mix as Win. As this his only 2nd main lead role, outright you can see how far he has come. He convey emotions raw, much more with intense and conviction. Being paired up a very common close friend makes their scenes natural and not forced or scripted. Watch Mix's eyes as it where his emotions are coming from. Truly, you'll be mesmerized by it.

Earth as Korn, you wouldn't expect any less from him of course. It is just a bit odd that his support is parter in Theory of Love, White as Doctor Non.

MUSIC
======================================
This is one of the the strenghts of GMMTV productions. They know where to put them to enhance the experience especially in those heartbreaking ones.

REWATCH VALUE
======================================
Like I have said over and over again, I am the type of guy who does not watch after I finished. But, to each his own.

A movie definitely not meant for everyone

Ok, so I think all the people who watched this movie were like NANI TF!? And I'm no excuse lol. This review is going to be mainly for the sickos out there like myself who actually really enjoyed the movie and everything in it.

THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEARTS. If you can't take things like, kidnnaping, rape, BDSM, tons of sex, mature content, suicide and torture, I suggest you stay away from this movie.

In my opinion I really don't understand why this movie got so many critiques and low rating. The synopsis is out there and so is the trailer and the manga. If you watched and you felt offended by this show, the blame is on you.

This movie is a portrait of Stockholm Syndrome and how love can appear in many different forms and places. It is a very heavy movie, I'm not gonna deny it, but at the same time I could find a sence of beauty in it. The movie talks a lot about life, death, love, blame and forgiveness. I think it passes a realy nice message on how you can't always blame yourself for the bad things that happens in life and that death in not always the answer. For me the movie was very well made, the acting was really nice, the soudtrack gave a very dark and heavy tone to the entire show, and the story was actually very well written in my opinion. Overall I really really liked this movie but do not recommend for the people who takes everything at heart.

I think it's important to mention that THIS IS JUST A FILM! It's important to separe reality from fiction!! So stop judging people for actually liking this type of film.
