10/10
I would have given this series 20 starts if I could. My all time favourite Chinese drama is Lighter and Princess, and I was excited to see Zhang Jingyi star opposite Hu Yitian. I have liked a couple of dramas with Hu Yitian as the lead, so this drama seemed promising right from the actors they had cast. The story was interesting from the very first episode, and I found it very hard to keep waiting for new episodes to air, the wait was very frustrating. That said, now that I have finished watching all 40 episodes, I feel this series will stay number 1 for me in the period drama genre for a very long time. The cinematography, the acting, the direction with attention to details, the great onscreen chemistry of the leads, the character sketches….there are so many things that made this series a worthy number one! The story revolves around Hua Zhi and her effort to keep her family alive and together after the male members of her family are exiled by a sceptical king. The way she handles matters was not only awe inspiring, but also heroic. She always kept the interest of her family first and through genuine sincerity and her down to earth demeanour won people and situations over. All through her hardships and difficult times, the one person that remains by her side, was our male lead Gu Yanxi, initially because he was impressed by her grit and resolve, but ultimately because of their love for each other. There is so much positivity in this series, and so many lessons to learn, I can keep going on about the love and trust the main leads share, and the way they handle the situations they are thrown into, never once doubting each other and always being there for one another. The pairing of Shaoyao and Shen Huan was a very sweet one and they did full justice to their screen time, leaving me wanting to see more of them. Each and every actor performed beautifully, I can keep going on and on about how every character was beautifully sketched and performed. My all time favourite modern drama will always be Lighter and Princess, but it would be hard for another show to beat Blossoms in adversity in period drama genre for me. Zhang Jingyi is a phenomenal actress who is equally great in comic, emotional, romantic and angry scenes, and her hard work shows in her dramas. Hu Yitian is another amazing actor who is an expert in stoic, angry as well as romantic expressions. A big thank you to the entire team of BIA for bringing this superb show to us!! Well done!!Was this review helpful to you?

Good but yeah, a bit dissapointed.
I tried to watch it because Lee Je Hoon and the ratings, but I think it's not that "masterpiece"?I expect to cry at every episode but nope, the feel just stops at "awww so sad".
The first episode is 10/10 tho. The scenes when Jung-Woo helps the deceased's family and Geu-Ru's reactions when his father did not come back are really tear-jerking.
But idk what happen after that... The story becomes so-so...?
The story is good, but some plots felt forced. But the story when they focus on the main characters is heartwarming. I was hoping the story will focus more on the job, but nah, so many unnecessary additions. Sometimes they forced the romances too (not the one with Na-Mu, trust me Na-Mu is a really cute and caring childhood friend, her mom is annoying tho.)
For the acting and the characters, I really like Geu-Ru's Father. Damn, he should be still alive and be the main character. His character is sooo good. Ji Jin Hee's acting is perfect. Lee Je Hoon did a good job too. I usually love his character at first sight but this one is nope LOL, like what they intend, a trash uncle. The uncle really annoying at first but we can see that he slowly caring for his nephew. Some people hate Na-Mu but I think it's understandable why she care so much to Geu-Ru. And Tang Jun Sang as Geu-Ru? He portrayed an Asperger character really well, sometimes I thought it was not acting because it felt so real.
The music/ost is so-so. Not memorable, and it was just classic music pianos.
TLDR: it's a good tv series but I can't say it's a perfect 10/10. It's felt so messy that I hope they didn't add too many problems with the characters.

Details are good and acting has also improved. Despite Bonne not being there, the other actor has played well. Book and Frame are just relationship goals.
BUT hoping for a better story line and overall development.

The best was the Acting and the chemistry between the bandmembers. When Lee Hyunwoo was cast I was like "Please give him a good leading lady" because he hasn't much luck with his partners. Then there were the news that Joy from Red Velvet would join...I don't have a problem with idols acting, but I don't approve of them when there first ever role is the main role. So I had very high expectations...I mean the production staff must have a good reason for casting her as Soorim and not as a supporting Actress...Honestly, she was okay. Not very good but not bad either. Lee Hyunwoo was good (like every time even though the story is bad). I hope he gets a better script next time. I think the role doesn't suit him so I don't have much to say about him. But his chemistry with Joy was...bad or should I say there wasn't any chemistry between them?
There are two other Actors I want to talk about because they were amazing in their roles. One of them is Lee Seowon. I love him since I first saw him in Uncontrollably Fond as Suzys little brother. His role here is very sad, dramatic and lonely. Chanyoung joined Crude play when Hangyeol (LHW) left to produce their music. Over the years he felt never like he was accepted by the other members. He thinks he is a substitute for Hangyeol and has bad feelings about him. He wants to be better. In my opnion he isn't the typical second lead who is mean to his rival because of the girl both of them love. I pitied him from episode one until the end. Lee Seowon played so amazing. He is one of two reasons why I could watch this drama until the end.
The Second reason is Kim Sungjoo. He is the main vocal and korean Leader of the Boygroup Uniq who debuted 3 years ago. He plays Yoo Shihyun, the leader and Vocal od Crude Play, who is funny and loves his members very much. Sometimes he seems like a playboy but in reality he is hurt because there is one girl he loves for a long time. Sadly, his role gets not much attention. His Chemistry with Lee Seowon and the others is very good. Even though his Screen time together with Lee Haeun (who played his sunbae from high school Sooyun) isn't very much the chemistry between them is very good and i wished that couple would get an extra drama v.v The last few episodes I pitied him a lot. He was so sad and I wanted to hug him. Like Lee Seowon he acted very good for a rookie. I think he has main lead potenzial and is one of the few Idols who can really act.
The Music was good, even though I don't liked the songs by Joy. I don't know why, maybe it is because i don't like her voice v.v. But the Songs by Crude Play are very good. Sungjoo has a very good voice. I am sure he could sing more OST...
I would recommend the drama for hardcore Red Velvet Fans and for people who doesn't care about the story but about the Acting.

High Mighty Judge
The drama was interesting to watch. But come on now what judge is going to do what the leading female does in a real-life scenario. She was so vocally about her boss removing himself from his son case, although he did cross the line, but she does the same not willing to remove herself. She had a high and mighty attitude about her, she right and no one else, opinions matter but the female judge. The system is shown how it truly is, it not as equal has people think. The law does always serve justice. The other lead male judge had a good heart, but he is a rare find in the court system. I like how even after she treat her boss the way she did, in the end he still tried to help her. Because she could have gone to him and not just forced her way into seeing him at the hospital. Was this review helpful to you?

SaintZee
The story is a bit messy with too many side CP but Boy oh Boy Saint Zee.P'Fight & Tor story line & chemistry by itself is enough to carry the whole drama.
Saifah & Zon are great and everything but chemistry wise, I haven't seen ever in any drama bl and not such a strong chemistry similar as P'Fight & Tor.
Some people are either stupid or too young to understand that their story line isn't just good bc of the amount of skinship but that the amount of skinship is rooted in the strong desire they had for each other and force themselves to burry deep down.
Spoiler
A lot of people didn't notice that Tutor actually also had an interest in Fighter but it is there., specially in the flashback where Fighter bought a bottle for Tutor, the look in Tutor eyes, the teasing, the disappointment when the guy drink the water destined for him. Also Hwahwa is best girl, specially in the way she later accept their relationship.
I love the toxic free yet still facing hardships yet still relatable story lines.
Bad points:
I honestly found myself fast forwarding a lot when SaintZee weren't on screen. Also the drama is very self aware, some of the clichés & moment of the side cp are still burdening the story line which is already messy enough on its own.

We need more stories like this!!!
You need to watch Seven Days: Monday-Thursday first, and then Friday-Sunday. I hope that they put the two together sometime because it should be watched as a longer movie. I'll be referring to both movies as just one in this review. This is not your typical BL story, and that's good. What this is, instead, is an exquisitely and breathtakingly beautiful story about two young men in high school who, almost accidentally, realize a love that they didn't know existed or was even possible. There isn't any fanservice here, thank goodness, only phenomenal - and age-appropriate! - writing and acting. They actually act and speak like high school boys and their shyness, embarrassment, and halting actions were all backed up by their inner thoughts, which the audience was thankfully privy to. We got to listen in on their doubts and lack of self-confidence even when their outer appearance was the opposite. I had never seen either main lead before and my goodness, they both delivered 100%. Also, the OST was the perfect accompaniment to the story, and it was shot really well, from lighting to the filming angles.
But the importance of this story lies well past how well-done it was. It lies in the fact that two people, who happen to be the same gender, find a love in each other. Yes, most of us have seen BL stories before, and many of us have seen a lot of BL before. And reams of type have been dedicated to the more problematic aspects of BLs, like the lack of consent too often portrayed as normal, the often-toxic nature of the relationships, again portrayed as not only normal, but expected in these relationships, and the ways BLs cater to the female gaze, making that more important than the other stories of LGBTQ+ men and women that deserve to be told. So we need more stories like this (and maybe less problematic BL!)
The beloved LGBTQ+ folks in my life experience the same kinds of fears and hurts as straight folks do in relationships and many of them want to get married and have a family and live a stable, settled life with their love. And they deserve that chance. Hopefully stories like these Seven Days films, Life-Love on the Line, and others, will help change public opinion enough in Japan to help pass marriage equality laws and normalize LOVE. Because that's what it is. #lovewins.

Overall I liked it because of the comedy. My favorites were:
Ms. Han and grandpa were hilarious. I missed Ms. Han when she gave up her disguise.
Jun Soo and Ah Ri made a cute couple.
The Dads were awful, especially Ah ri’s dad. He was so tiresome that I found myself hating him more than Bo Ra’s dad. I was so done with both of them at the end.
Meal time and podcast taping at Grandpa’s was always fun to watch.
Loved that the ex-wife and current wife teamed up against the husband.

I LOVE slow-paced romantic dramas, cause it's really natural and feels so real. It gave me the same vibe as -One Spring Night- except here there's a bit more "mystery" while in OSN no mysterious background whatsoever. I really liked how the FL was able to express her feelings, good and bad ones. I liked him a bit more than the ML because at the beginning he wouldn't express his feelings because he was afraid of happiness and everything nice, which I honestly understand. I liked how each of the supporting characters had their own stories the drama wasn't only about the main couple. I really liked how the relationship between the aunt, the mother, and the FL developed, and by the end of the show, all of the knots were untied. One thing I didn't like about the kdrama is that we didn't know a lot about what happened to the ML when he left the village for a bit and why did he leave and then come back right after.
Overall I really loved the feeling that kdramas like this give me, I like it when a kdrama is set in such a beautiful environment and vibe that you would want to become a part of it. Everything was perfect, the village, the people of the village, the friendships, the books, and the book club, and finally the weather.

I can't stop rewatching it. I love how they included volleyball into this. It's so amazing.
My favorite thing about this series is the character development. You saw how Xia Yu Hao used to be like a bad boy and you saw his character change and how he grew to love volleyball. The chemistry between Xia Yu Hao and Zi Xuan is *chefs kiss*
This mini-series is super simple, short, and cute. All in these 8 episodes you see: character development, volleyball, studying, and love all mixed together! And it's not even hard to understand when watching this series!
Their story is told perfectly and it isn't fast or slow-paced. It goes at the right speed.
Also, the acting is perfect. Those kissing scenes did not seem awkward at all. None of the scenes really seemed that awkward. It felt like the actors put their everything into acting for this series.
10/10 would recommend

Best thriller chinese drama ...
This drama has no loopholes in connections between game world and reality which makes this drama more intersting ...this drama is as great as Reset drama which is so popular ... i really wish this drama gets recognition which it deserve ...i am not spoiling story because it is mainly a suspense drama ..
Every character has got their own back story which makes this drama interesting and also the story is not draggy at all ... all the games are very interesting which they played and this also has a happy ending ...
Best part - it is not like other dramas where strangers trust each other easily but here reality speaks the fact that in life threatning situations one person can only trust themselves ... and i really love that they takes their time in buliding trust between each other ...
i completed this drama in less than 2 days ,
because of low promotion this drama is not famous but it definitely has the potential ...

You never forget it
Okay, so I've read a few reviews and in general there seems to be consensus that this show started of really strong and then sort of faded away as the episodes progressed. But this is/was the first BL I ever watched and it got me totally hooked, the characters are silly and relatively likable. I found the conflicts in the serious to be somewhat unreasonable but since watching more series I have noted that that is a relatively normal thing, suppose it is just my western viewpoint of it. There were some small plot holes and continuity errors, but still is and always will be my favourite BL series. Was this review helpful to you?
