I cannot get over how unsatisfying the ending was!!!
I wish the epilogue was way longer - especially since some scene with the mean character were just frustrating and unecessary.

However, I LOVED that drama, it had me smiling, crying, bawling my eyes out and laughing really hard.
I absolutely adored Nam Shin III and So Bong, never felt annoyed or angry at them nor their romance.
All the actors were fantastic and this show is definitely worth watching!

The music was not God awful but could have been improved 100% - but that doesn't affect the drama to much.

Kinda interesting, not everyone's type tho.

I personally loved this drama, despite the very toxic plot and a VERY toxic lead characters, tbh both of them were toxic and hence deserved each other just like yoh said in the last episode "to think about tying someone up just because he is anxious, this guy is dangerous, but to find intetest in it, i am equally messed"(us yoh us). ngl i found segasaki hot despite his behaviour. the entire series was nothing but just two people not knowing how to communicate, tbh i expected a much nicer confession, them to clear the misunderstandings but not everything happens to our expectations right? :')

well if there is going to be a second season i hope they make the characters more mature and not this dense T-T i just want some fluff tbh.

A must watch

One of the best school rom-com dramas

Story:

- humor makes it different from other rom-coms
- all the relationships/friendships are so precious
- a great drama after a tiring day or to end 2020 and start 2021
- very eye-catching and charming second lead !
- liked the love triangle but also dragged the drama a lot that 'true beauty' theme was gone
- mainly about friendship, bullying, love-triangle
- more interesting how the main leads all have traumatic past
- the ending was satisfactory but wished more as it was too rushed
- Seojun....

Acting/Cast:

- PERFECT
- all the cast fit so well to their character, visually and through acting
- everyone fell for Seojun and got SLS (surprise, surprise)
- rising star HIY. he played his role out very detailed, his eyes have sm emotions. the role suited him sm
(liked him since 18 Again)
- JG's character may not be the most likable for some people but it wasn't a problem for me
- CEW acting improved so much
- CEW's character was kinda bland at first but he kinda got better at the end
- MGY is so beautiful and she played out JG reallyyy well (esp after watching her in The Great Seducer, feels very different)
- Also loved SJ's gang, his fam, JG's small group of friends, her fam, all the lil cameos (and this one particular drama reference!)

Music:

- repeatedly used the same songs but still liked it
- entire playlist is so beautiful and catchy
- first time finding out about Chani and his voice is beautiful
- HIY's deep voice allures me

Rewatch Value:

- kept rewatching episodes when waiting for the next
- will definitely rewatch, especially scenes w SJ (and his moments w JG)
- will watch to fall in love w SJ again and for more laughs!

Overall:

- loved the warm class and elegant-looking school (same school w Extraordinary you?)
- the outfits are cute af
- makeup was done beautifully
- friendships were so cute
- loved sharing opinions with the audience every wk
- the most engaging drama I've encountered in years!
- every episode was worth it and it was such a pain in the neck to wait for another episode in a week

Some people may say it's a cliche kdrama (school, bully, friendships, love triangle, cold-guy, and dumb-girl) but I personally love cliche dramas and I'd say this is one of the best, most unique cliche dramas! My thurs/fri become so exciting and I defo laughed a loooot. It REALLy depends on your taste but I really enjoyed every single episode.

As I finally finished watching the final episode, I can gladly say that this was a gem of 2021. I cannot believe I did not like it at first, but the show turned out to be super duper enjoyable in the end.

What did we all expect from this drama to be completely honest? For those who have read the webtoon, I will just say the drama does not necessarily have to follow the storyline 100% accurately. In fact, I loved that some elements and the chemistry between additional characters have made the show into its own little thing. First off, I would call this drama a literal real-life anime. Sometimes, the acting and the scenes would be so ridiculously unreal, but it worked out amazingly somehow. Second, I loved the actors and how closely they resemble the webtoon characters. And, as mentioned before, the characters that were not originally in the comics were so essential for the drama that it was a great addition. Despite being team this or that, I felt that the female lead had greater chemistry with Suho in the end (I am on team Seojun by the way). Third, the musical touch for this drama was superb - the OST completely slaps!

It is difficult to come to terms that this show has ended, but it was a fun ride. If you loved it as well, make sure to read the webtoon for a slightly different storyline.

In general, I really enjoyed watching True Beauty.
Honestly speaking, this drama hit close to home, since just like Lim Ju-Kyung, I was also bullied in school due to my appearance and I believe that a lot of people watching this drama will relate to it.
This drama was actually very cute, not super dramatic even though approaches some serious societal issues from suicide to the way the entertainment industry works, to the appearances-based society we live in.
I haven't read the webtoon, so I can't tell you if the drama is loyal to it or not. What I can tell you is that the acting was amazing, very entertaining although there were some parts where you can tell the overreaction in the scene, in spite of that, the drama was really enjoyable.
Something that I really loved was the presence of strong females like Lim Ju-Kyung's sister who's someone that not only can defend herself but also goes after what she wants even when it comes to romance; or like Kang Soo-Ah who can defend herself or anyone she sees in danger (although she goes "bitchy mode" towards the end due to jealousy).
Last but not least, this drama was a bit hard to watch because it's impossible to not like Seong-Joo. I wanted both Seong-Joon and Soo-Hoo to have a happy ending but obviously, that wasn't possible.

Don't Let the High Ratings Fool You. THIS DRAMA IS DESERVES HIGHER.

Hands down, Hotel Del Luna is one of the best k dramas. I have ever watched. The leads had excellent chemistry and always stood by each other. The plot was well executed. I have only praise for this drama. I love how everything is not explained in too much detail. If everything is set in stone it seems like an info dump to me. So I adored how the writer left some things open ended and give us hints to fit the pieces together ourselves. I'm very intellectual and thought-oriented which made this very engaging for me. The plot was very unique and had well planned and timed flashbacks. I can't say enough about the OSTs. They are the most beautiful things ever. I could listen to the tracks forever. Crime and thrillers were neatly integrated into the already multi-dimensional plot. Don't believe anyone who says that Hotel Del Luna has a sad ending. Like I said, it's for the audience to form their own conclusions. Overall, its the best. The ratings reflect exactly how good this drama actually is. Infact, I could even call this drama underrated for that is how good it is.

Another season where the most boring people attract the most attention

Overall I think this season had a stronger start, but as the episodes went by it started to get very stale, with these long boring ass meaningless conversations between the participants. It's like koreans are unable to be straight forward and can only communicate through vague and repetitive riddles.

Honestly, it also just gets frustrating watching the people with the personaity traits of a lettuce attract the most number of suitors in the show. I'm still astounded at how Seulki was unable to hold basic conversation with others, also Jinyoung was so lame pleaseee, ex-military turned youtuber who is also unable to make eye contact with anyone omg. I guess fitting the beauty standards is enough for these people. At least I was entertained when Seulki ditched Jinyoung for like the most pathetic guy in both seasons lmao.

Also, poor Sejeong, she didn't even get to go to paradise just because she isn't as white as a sheet of paper. At least Soe and Sejun went out together. Also props to Hanbin for smiling through the pain, way to go king! And Nadine too, she deserved better. There's not much else to say here, I guess, this season can be pretty tiring, but it's worth the watch if you liked the first one.

Who didn't like this?

Cute cast, great story, and it's flaws you'll overlook.

Don't watch if you aren't into BL or don't approve. It's not for you then, accept it and move on.

I rated high, because I've watched it more than twice and would recommend without reservations.

This drama has moments that'll make you cringe in a good way. It'll mske you cover your eyes and then watch the part you just hid in cringy awareness from.

You won't  be disappointed.

Boring

May be it was a mini drama that's why I felt boring or May be the story was a cliche . College friend loved each other but never confessed to each other and due to some reason they separated and after 2 years they again met each other . Female lead was angry with him and didn't want him but he pursued her and made her fall for him . Then they got a happy ending and story was over.
Male lead and female lead's acting was good and other supporting actors and actresses were good . As it was a mini drama so everybody didn't able to do much.

Convoluted but engaging!

Since the presentation at the beginning of each episode is a short summary of the plot, I don't think it's spoiler when I say this drama involves a little bit of time travel. We have a leading lady who goes back in time, with her memory intact, for a re-do at family and court life. The drama, tho, starts the story like you are already in episode 5 and the viewer has to catch up. In my opinion this made the first third of the drama a convoluted, sometimes hard to follow but the characters were interesting enough to keep me engaged.

I appreciate leading lady it's smart and an equal talent as her male counterparts. This is important to portray because the world she involves herself in is controlled mainly by man, so in many ways she has the upper hand when they underestimate her and she can be sneaky without them realizing what hit them. Of course, except for leading man and a few of his friends. They see her for her smarts, beyond the beauty and noble title. Which is nice. That is not to say the drama has some red flag here and there but, if I am honest, I am on vacation right now and I just took this story for what it is: a fun period piece with endearing characters and some intense chemistry.

The latter two thirds of the story were far more interesting. We already know our players, where they stand and who they are trying to take down. Now it's a matter to see how this chess game will unfold, which personally I think it's the most fun for this kind of stories.

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama.

Itaewon Class is a beautiful well drawn out drama. It's not a masterpiece, it's not perfect, but it still continue to be interesting and enjoyable.

Most people hate it because their hate stem from their dislike to the female lead. You will see despicable phrases to describe her, but don't worry it's not true or entirely true. They completely wiped out all other parts of her character as if those qualities don't exist. The writer is a pro. Now the writer may lack focused on other areas (nobody is perfect), but do you really believe the writer will make his FL so despicable? You see only a few people hate our female lead (if all the people who view this drama positively were to comment, not a single negative comment will be visible in succession). Don't worry about what they say about the FL, she is fine.

Anyway what do I like about this drama?
1. Story Flow. In the first episode, I already knew I was going to love this drama. Itaewon Class is well paced and keeps you interested.

2. Acting. Everyone in importance did super well. There's something about Park Seo Joon that's really captivating haha, I think the answer is he's so good at acting and at the same time maintain this air of charm. And thanks to this show, I get to see a new talented face: Kim Dami. She's pretty amazing. And of course our villains, they were awfully good at being evil.

3. Characters. We have a wide range of characters that reflect society to some degree. There are interesting leads with touching backstories/thoughts/actions that makes you care about them. Realistically, in life not everyone in a relationship are good saint like people. Even the people who had bad attitudes based on the environment they grew up in can eventually change and find love. All kinds of people exist in this world, and for Itaewon Class to show a quite opposite female lead was refreshing and interesting.

4. A bonus: Devoted Lover Character. We got FL who is devoted to the morally path ML. Who doesn't want a person who love them a lot (but will try to respect your values (assuming you are a moral person) as long as you say it)? And kinda cool, but there's like a direct opposite relationship. I guess you could say there's one other character A who is devoted to another character B, but character B is not morally path.

5. Cinematography. The shots are beautiful. You will be well fed.

6. Music. We got a lot. The musics are really good too and served their purpose well.

What I don't like about this drama?
1. Villains. I'm just not buying some of their characteristics that the author implanted to them because based on their history/achievements/orlackofachievements it just doesn't seem plausible. But I realized in the end there is a chance for the villain to become that way, it's just that it wasn't a high chance imo...so maybe if the chance was higher (by adding more compelling reasons or showing that a reason was compelling), I would accept it more.

2. Some weird meetings. character A meets character B, but if you think about it character B could have denied the invitation but why did character B accept the invitation or why was character B not notified of the invitation or be surprised???...idk so it's kinda like forced meeting by the writer.

3. That one plot device. The author made a certain event too easy to occurred, that it doesn't seem realistic. Without spoiling: at the end of episode 15.

However, I really like the drama overall, so I can overlook these things.

What I wished was included (but it does not affect my rating)?
1. expand the episodes to 18. The pacing will still be the same, with the ending of episode 16 occurring in episode 18, but I want more scenes of interactions between characters and of course between our leads. I believe in their character development, but adding more scenes will create a stronger foundation. And like I said about the villains, make a bit more scenes to explain why they're so twisted because I'm not really buying it. idk maybe I'm not supposed to understand the villain because their mind are twisted and that's why this don't affect my rating.

I see from the reviews that many people didn't enjoy this one and I'm really trying to figure out why. Cutie pie for me was a great series, it made me laugh , cry and at times scream. The acting was amazing and the chemistry between the couples made this so fun to watch. Zee especially did a great job and his acting skills seem to have improved so much (although he was already a great actor).
I think that 2022 is a good year for the BL history and cutie pie is one of those series that at least for me set a new standard. The story really teaches us to be ourselves and not hide who we really are.

Btw, even if you don't enjoy this one you won't be able to deny Poppy's amazingly weird character and his wonderful expressions. That alone should make you enjoy this series.

I need to reset the story

A romance between Artificial intelligence and a human is indeed a challenging take for me to get adopted. I watched several shows with similar concepts but only a few entertained me. Anti-Reset is no exception since I badly wanted to rewrite their storyline. They have the budget but the sequence of scenes could have been more exciting. The only time that I got giggles was during that particular moment when the robot was creating an account for the human and he was asked to verify if he was not a robot and that was hilarious.

The acting was mediocre too; the robot ain’t seem like a robot and the professor carries an average acting performance. They almost have the right chemistry but fail to be consistent in delivering the decent vibes of romance needed per dialogue. In the end, the robot is a robot and recontinues with the romance with the human as if nothing happened.

I would like to be happy and satisfied with the ending but I knew deep down in my heart that they could showcase more than this one. At some point, I feel like they wasted the potential of the production value and the role of the artists. Nevertheless, it wasn’t the worst Sci-Fi series out there, yet it wasn’t also close to being matched in a standard level of this genre.
