I thought this shit went to episode 25, but…

I thought this shit went to episode 25, but it is done. I thought that ending was pretty lackluster, and this whole episode kind of felt rushed. But yeah, I low-key like season 2. I thought it was pretty good. Season 1 was better. But this is still pretty good. I liked all the couples, and I think they have all brought the energy they deserve, but I just think specifically for last couple, I needed more because that was just kind of meh. But yeah, I am so sad it is over, and I am going to need a season 3. I do not give a fuck. I do not give a fuck if it has something to do with anything. I am going to need my season 3 right fucking now. I do not play about that. Okay, bye!

Finally moving on from watching the An Su + Song Han doom spiral

That painful-to-watch romance is still a problem, but fortunately this episode gives most of its screen time to the the main plot involving the two leads. So we get several fun scenes both with them individually and together. Love the interactions between the two leads and the Crown Prince & Princess. We get some crucial backstory finally on what the Emperor was trying to accomplish by arresting Song Mo's uncle. And the good guys may have gained a key asset as one of the Empress' top maid servants, currently assigned to An Su's household, realizes she owes a huge debt of gratitude to Dou Zhao.

How?

How did the writers even convince the station to greenlit the broadcasting for this? How is this even allowed?

This ep destroyed me

I cried a river on that scene. I'm still not over it, whenever I see an edit I cry again. Sufrí muchísimo con pete, el dolor que siente realmente se puede escuchar en su voz y llanto, se aman muchísimo y yo a ellos

The falling out with Ji Yuantong finally happens.

It was inevitably going to happen. He is stuck in his thinking because he believes that the larger fate is fixed and that Song Mo's doom is inevitable. But a key point is that SHE (Dou Zhao) actually knows more. Yes, he acts very confident and as if he knows more about the big picture but she has two key factors that affect her thinking differently from him. First, she has the actual book in hand. It came back in time with her. And second, SHE has actually had two conversations with the author of the book (God?). She knows that fate can be changed. It's not easy. It is as hard as moving a mountain. But it can be changed. So because of that, Dou Zhao's mindset is completely different from Ji Yuantong's. In other news, watching Song Han further tighten his abusive control over An Su, isolating her from everyone she loves, is heartbreaking and painful to watch. I recommend skipping much of it because it's just depressing. Sadly realistic. But depressing.

A question of faith

Though they are not seminarians as they are only in high school, it highlights what happens in school for future seminarians. It’s also the time when all who want to join the vocation to truly learn about themselves and if this is the sacrifice they want to take. Barth is the one who is unsure about his faith. I was hoping in this episode the writers would have more clarification as to why Barth is in a diocesan sponsored school for future Diocesan priests. For someone whose faith was weak he would not qualify under very strict guidelines. Though I disagree with the bullying scene, I can understand why the question of Barth attending the 12th grade at the last moment when his faith was questionable. I hope someone can explain this to me. Like many orphaned children who grew under the church, they lack the exposure of life and its challenges. And this is when Tanrak’s resolve is tested. With only 6 episodes I figured this will be packed emotionally, it written and produced correctly. and since GMMTV is presenting their two biggest hitters they can only invest all they have to make this right. and for Gem and Fourth’s turning point into a more mature roles, this definitely separates them from their high school series. and as a catholic, I am curious as to how a predominantly Buddhist country will present my religion and beliefs. so I waited patiently until the 5th episode was released to watch the series. and after the first episode my feelings was correct…emotionally charged…and so I watch with very watchful eyes as to how my faith is presented and the challenges that faces the believers. and I have my favorite Taiwanese BL “your name engraved herein” as the bar to measure this series. so far episode 1 has not disappointed me at all.

So hard to watch someone descend into an abusive relationship.

Folks in the Viki comments callously saying that An Su 'deserves' what she gets for not seeing the truth about Song Han are ignorant of just how insidious manipulative abusers like Song Han are. There is a reason that so many women end up trapped in such horrible abusive relationships and it isn't because they "deserve" it. It's because the techniques such pathological creeps use to manipulate are extremely effective on innocent, 'good' people. This plot line is so hard to watch because it is unfortunately very real.

This feel like Swiss cheese…

This episode was full of Chinese tropes…the loan sharks, the knight backlighted in the fog with an umbrella. Again, more questions as to why suddenly he has a need to save the person he hated for stealing his grandma’s house…this series so far feels like Swiss cheese full of holes.

plot

From the story, you can see that both of them have kind hearts and are basically the same at their core. The goldfish represents their relationship in the summer, just like a goldfish can't live without water.

Plot

The female lead deliberately gets close, and the male lead, fully aware, is willing to succumb, bringing their relationship a step further.

NIRANPETE GAYYY

From the very first episode to the very last, this series delivered an amazing and captivating story. The performances from the entire cast were absolutely phenomenal, especially Sky and Nani. Their chemistry was truly incredible, and I enjoyed every single episode—it never felt boring for a moment. There were so many scenes filled with deep meaning, and most importantly, the moments between the two main characters, Sky as Niran and Nani as Pete. You can't convince me that they weren't in love with each other. Just watch every episode—they were seriously SOOOOO GAAAAYYYYY.I can't wait for their next series together. I'm going to miss them so much. Thank you once again for giving us such an absolutely outstanding series.

Hope is just a dream

I dont mind watching angry characters nor passive “jinx” characters but starting with the two lead as such without much pretext just builds in difficulty relating to their roles. So should I just feel sorry for each of them because of their status and medical condition? Looking for hope for a series is not always for everyone, specially for me. The BL world is full of red flags already, it seems to be the theme of a gay relationship, full of testosterone and the need to dominate. I’ll hang on to this as long as I can but there are so many choices out there.
