Secrets to hide and seek

Wow, I didn't know I needed an A'Li and Mingxi team-up! 😂😏 He perfectly fits her vibe and would be the perfect sidekick in crime. I enjoyed watching them a lot! Also, I am now 200% sure Prince Li is alive somewhere, hiding. 👆The jealousy between Marquis Muyang's sons... Qin Cang is jealous of Tianyang being allowed to freely approach, laugh, and chat about any topic with their father, while Tianyang is jealous of their father approaching Qin Cang and wanting to spend time with him... with the main subject this time being a coconut! It's so twisted with them. 🙄Looks like the Empress Dowager is getting desperate to hold onto her power and hide those secrets she's been keeping for all those years. Marquis Muyang enjoys being her bloodhound way too much. 🙄😫 Oh, and what an aura Xiuyao released when dealing with the traitor of Jingzhou Prefecture! 👏 Did the guy reconsider who he's more afraid of—Prince Ding or Marquis Muyang? Yes, I think he did. 😏🔥

ahim’s wedding dress was a little ugly just a little

something i haven’t really thought of now is also assessing how well these tributes advertise the original sentai season. saying this now because this little cameo really made me look forward to abaranger ,the couple was cute & funny. this was also a pretty light+hearted episode ,i think gai is also a great character to relearn the different gokaigers with. gai interprets ahim similarly to how most audiences would & here we get to see her rebuttal in a fun way. with that being said i do find this episode rather empty which is funny because they were cramming a lot in it.

Very sweet chaotic and funny

The series is really exceeding my expectations. The storyline is sweet and chaotic and I'm enjoying every bit of it.

possibly the worst but that doesn’t mean it’s that bad

just saw my reviw of last episode from seven months ago & wow ir09t6goetkoaeo i think this episode was just okay. i don ’t think bijogi is that comeplling of a character & LIKe none of the twists had any real impact on me. this would probably be pretty low if i rank the cases ,i juzst don’t think there was anything really for me to xare deeply about. i think nem was a little stagnan t this episode for kind’ve a very pivotal moment for her. if she didn’t move thwn i would at least hope the others surrounding her will.

Channeling Master Zhu, court mishaps, debts repaid and banquet preparations

The young assassin fought well but there were just too many combatants. As he passes out, another takes over. I wasn’t happy with how the fighting was shown until I learned this was Ye Li’s view of the battle. She gets the assassin to her friend for help but is caught out of the palace by Xiu Yao’s guard. The prince monitors her but goes on to the palace without saying anything. When he arrives, she is calmly sitting in her chair welcoming him home. Both of them taking turns pretending sleep.😂🙄 When the assassin wakes up he is questioned because Ye Li saw master Zhu rescue them. What he saw was her kicking ass as a sword master. This time we see the fight with clarity and Ye Li was awesome. 👏🏻This court session was the first time XiuYao revealed his naïveté in how the court truly operates. He is 100% driven to fight injustice but did not see the big picture of how a ruler views insurrection. Here the Marquis understood that ridding the capital of any rebels with attitude was the real objective. So when he used any means necessary, he was following the spirit of their command even if he benefited by handling those he had grudges against simultaneously. Both Empress Dowager and Emperor sided with the Marquis and reminded the prince it was out of his purview and he was to stick with investigation. He was soundly slapped verbally and told to mind his own business in surround sound. Xiu Yao is in a pouty mood because Ye Li has declined going out with him. His spy friend tells him a story of a woman he’s been corresponding with getting ready to arrive to visit. He points out Ye Li to Prince and teases about her not wanting out. Xiu Yao sees her outside feeding a dog and decides to follow her. What he learned was a surprise. She was making the rounds repaying the debts caused by those who tried to help Lishan. The last was his prison hire who sold his family estate and went to great length to scrape together every cent he could to help the Lishan families. The assassin has himself hired in her shop and she wants him gone. 😂He passes her a note from her physician friend and then she tells the steward to send him away.🤣😂 He somehow had both parts of her family jade and when he returned them she only accepted one. She told him to toss the other. Xiu Yao told Ye Li that a funeral was planned for JingLi even tho it was pretty clear he wasn’t really dead. This would be the official word from the palace to prevent rumors and keep things as low key as possible. The Marquis was given the job of planning a banquet for an arriving princess and he surprisingly asks for Xiu Yao to assist. This surprised both Empress dowager and son but they agreed. That night Xiu Yao wanted to offer a pet to his wife but she refused. We were just about to get the story of her bird when the episode ended. The cast continues to deliver excellent character portrayals and you are sucked into the story and captivated by the events. The production team gives us the view from Ye Li and what really occurs. The fight scenes are well done.👏🏻

The teaching continues

Schools like that are almost like a warzone! And, of course, Hwajin shone with his educational methods once again. 😂👏It was nice to see another agent of their bureau, and I am very happy the boy who actually wanted to study could do so in the end. He was so sweet, caring and genuine. It was terrible what he had to go through there just to survive, and his life situation wouldn't let him choose another one. 🥺💔I guess the dead teacher was not only the founder's daughter, but also Hwajin's loved one—his wife or girlfriend. 😔 No wonder they both are so determined to "cleanse the plague" from the schools. 🔥

One Stars

even before watching this ep, i knew when it aired that i wouldn't like anything i saw & that's why i put off watching the last couple of eps for so long. *************************************************************************************************************i feel sad & sorry for LuFeng - he has been made into the main bad-guy that viewer's & character's alike curse out & dump all the wrongs of the world on. while he is the only one that has truly suffered through this BL, from start to finish even when he should have had peace & happiness, he never really had it. if it wasn't his father & family it was the surrounding or worse the person he loved. in this ep we see clearly who Xiao Chen really is at heart; he is a passive, self-involved moron that rather throw himself a pity party then assert himself verbally or physically. his f*ckin younger brother came in like a wrecking ball, manhandling him & what does Xiao Chen do??? let him & his bf dictate what is going to be?!??? not opening his mouth even once - why???? ************************************************************************************************************************but LuFeng is the big-bad-wolf that Xiao Chen gotta avoid - really??? who is playing whom? who is hurting whom??? at least Xiao Chen has always known where he stood with Lufeng - was that ever the case for LuFeng??? even after Xiao Chen realized he didn't want to part ways & got out of the car, did he then (as an adult would) have a conversation with LuFeng? talk about the issues between them, so it can be solved / resolved & they can decide how to move forward as a couple??? ****************** Nope, he needed to wait until LuFeng confessed again? LuFeng has laid his soul bare so many time only to get his heart crushed under Xiao Chen & his families feet & somehow i don't think the hell LuFeng has been put through is over... one last ep to go - guess in others eyes he hasn't repented enough or paid a high enough price to be worthy of Xiao Chen - talk about a bad joke - as IMO Xiao Chen is the one unworthy of LuFeng.

A plague indeed

The best thing about Na Hwajin is that he doesn't bend to power and money. He has his goal and he aims for it. 👏 I am pretty sure the teacher who was killed all those years ago was the founder's child, and this is him delivering justice for that. ✊The first few minutes were particularly hard to watch with everything those kids had to go through. 😣💔 The payback on the bullies, and even better, the main bully's father's downfall, was very satisfying to see. The saddest part of this is probably that the story is actually based on a real one. Bullying at schools nowadays is indeed like a plague... a perfect description on Na Hwajin's part. 😟🧐The show looks really good and worth checking out, even if the topic can be difficult for some. 🫣

A bit too cruel.....

I get not wanting the same character to appear again in order to avoid complications.....but does the person have to die??? Can't he just relocate to abroad or something???? The emotional trauma the ML is being put through is cruel. I hope he gets really mad when he finds out the truth. Enjoying the plot though.

Four Stars

It would have been 10 out of 10 if the brother of the main didn't sacrificed himself to bring back the brother. I really didn't liked the fact. When Yeon was missing his brother cried so much and was desperate to bring him back but what did Yeon did when he found out that his brother was dead? Nothing! He didn't even cried.... That actually proved that he loved Jia more than anything and his brother was not that important to him. I am really upset for that. Lee actually deserved a happy ending like everyone else. Everyones life equally matters.

Everything is happening way too quick

I have a feeling that everything is moving way too fast now, and pace-wise, it feels a lot like the last season of GoT. Like, events that would actually take weeks or maybe even months to unfold suddenly happen in one episode. 😔I understand why the Northern Desert King would mourn his son, but to surrender just like that after decades of war? 🤨 I don't really know anything about his character because they have barely shown him to us, but I would want to see some reasoning behind that choice, not just him running out of Wangzhou shouting "son, son". War-oriented strategists usually don't do that, in my opinion. 🙄At least all of Yanfang's plans with the Northern Desert are now in vain due to Yanlai's success. 😌🙌🏼 And the Northern Desert King can probably testify as to who it was he collaborated with—Deng Yi, Xiao Xun, or Xie Yanfang? Or all three of them? 🤔🧐Also, I want to think that A'Zhao is playing Yanfang to lure him into some trap, or make him lose his guard enough to strike him down, and hasn't trusted a single one of his words. 🤞🏼😏 If I had to choose Deng Yi or Yanfang as an ally, I probably would trust Deng Yi more (yeah, I know... I still hope he's redeemable, lol 😂).I am also missing some character depth for Liang Qiang, and why he chose to do what he did. Because one moment he actually questioned the situation, but the next moment—yeah, let's go, I want to go for that power. 😔 I blame all of that on the chosen short 24-episode format, but yes, this drama suffers a lot because of that, in my opinion.

A Perfect Match with Unforgettable Chemistry

MieAya have completely stolen my heart. I truly don’t want this series to end yet because every episode leaves me wanting more. Their acting is incredible, and the chemistry between them feels so natural, genuine, and powerful that it makes every scene unforgettable.Watching them together is such a joy. They bring their characters to life beautifully and make it easy for viewers to become emotionally invested in their story. The connection they portray on screen feels so real that I often forget I’m watching a series.I sincerely hope to see Mie and Aya reunite in another project, especially in a much longer series where we can spend more time with their characters and witness their growth together. They are a truly special pairing with amazing potential.Thank you for giving us such a wonderful story and for sharing your talent with us. I will continue supporting both of you and cheering you on in all your future projects. No matter what comes next, I’ll always be rooting for MieAya. ❤️
