Episode 8 of Broken (Of) Love delivers everything you could hope for in a finale: emotion, closure, intensity and a beautifully satisfying ending. It’s the kind of final episode that reminds you why you became so invested in the story in the first place. The tension at the beginning is gripping, with Arisa stepping up in one of her strongest moments to protect Lalin. It’s powerful, emotional and shows just how far her character has come. The redemption of Uncle Mek is also handled surprisingly well, adding nuance to his character and giving closure to a complicated past. His final act brings a sense of resolution that feels earned and meaningful. As always, Faye and Atom are absolutely outstanding. Their performances in this episode are filled with emotion, strength and sincerity. Their chemistry remains one of the strongest aspects of the series, so natural, captivating and deeply believable. The more intimate moments between Arisa and Lalin are beautifully done, highlighting their connection in a way that feels both passionate and emotional without losing its authenticity. It’s especially rewarding to see both couples reach their happy endings. Arisa and Lalin’s journey comes full circle in such a satisfying way, while the resolution for Weiling and Saithran adds even more emotional depth and warmth to the story. Seeing both generations find happiness feels incredibly fulfilling. The production quality remains consistently high until the very end. The cinematography continues to elevate every scene, while the soundtrack once again enhances the emotional impact. The duet from Faye and Atom is a standout moment! A perfect addition that ties together the emotional core of the series and leaves a lasting impression.Overall, Broken (Of) Love is one of the best series I’ve watched. From the performances to the storytelling, the visuals and the music, everything comes together to create something truly special. Episode 8 is a perfect conclusion to a journey that has been emotional, captivating and unforgettable from start to finish.

This episode, like almost all recent episodes, was very well executed. And there is nothing major wrong with the plot, acting or production. But it's nevertheless ... just a bit sad and depressing. If there is a 'flaw', it is of course the plot making use of the 'noble idiocy' trope in having Pei Yi and Huaijin both stubbornly sacrifice their love, "for the good of the other". But it's not completely idiotic like it is in so many dramas. Their concerns and behavior is reasonable given their situations. But it is frustrating and sad to watch. Of course we know this is just part of the larger story, right?

what an emotional roller costar, poor Xiao Chen (& even though Lu Feng is & has suffered like Xiao Chen), idk my heart goes out to Xiao Chen more - maybe cause he doesn't vent, just suffers in silence... either way from the start of the ep i wanted them to communicate, before anything. but that isn't the route Lu Feng chose - guess he just wanted to pick up where they stopped & ignore all the bad sh*t that kept them apart for 4 yrs. but u can't just move on as if nothing happened, they needed a candid conversation where they didn't just talk about what happened, but how they felt as a consequence of it all. they needed to share how they dealt with the aftermath - what they went through. maybe then after opening old wounds & cleaning out the puss, then the true healing could start, then they would realize that they both loved wholeheartedly & still do. that their love isn't a thing of the past. but sadly that isn't how this is gonna go - which just means more suffering for the mains - *******************************************************************************************************************************************************i would applauded the younger brother for standing up for Xiao Chen & getting in Lu Feng's face - but he has a big part in his brother's pain. he just wont admit to it, so it was convenient that Lu Feng came, he could channel his anger at someone other then himself. **************************************************************************************************************************after everything Xiao Chen has been through, i don't blame him for taking time to consider giving Lu Feng a 2nd chance & at the 1st hint of disloyalty, bailing - he hasn't stopped suffering or loving Lu Feng. so starting a new, just to get destroyed again who would want to chance that. *****************************************************************************************************so get his not wanting to give Lu Feng a chance, even after he finally found out that Lu Feng didn't abandon him, that he too suffered abroad. btw Lu Feng graping Xiao Chen didn't help matters any. **********************************************************on that note, dude really has a problem with understanding that force isn't love - this isn't the 1st scene/time where he forces himself on Xiao Chen & then is shocked that Xiao Chen's reaction to getting assaulted is aversion & the need to flee - if u watch Lu Feng's face & notice his behavior, he thinks that's how u make love. genuinely don't get how his mind works - but i also read that a person who cannot understand that force isn't love may be exhibiting controlling or possessive behaviors stemming from deep-seated insecurity, fear of abandonment, or a lack of emotional maturity & given that father of his (the lack of a mother figure) it explains a lot. complex sh*t - still not ok & dude needs therapy. but explains a lot.

Did I just witness Shaoshang manipulate the Emperor into getting justice for her? 🤔 Books or no books, if that's true, then that girl showed us next-level cleverness! 👏I hate Wang Ling, but seeing how she's treated and disciplined at home, it's no wonder why she's the way she is—a bad seed combined with bad fertiliser grows a bad crop. 🙄But I did love Buyi and Shaoshang—especially how the micro-expressions on his face changed and softened when she told him she doesn't want to break their engagement. 🤗❤️

what a lovely episode. i just yesterday had a complaint about how writers will tell us how a member of a team is irreplaceable but never show us how & sanb o sid. he did his role that he uniquely pulls off that the best actress in the troupe can’t. if he walked out when he wanted to the show may as well have collapsed behind it. this was a really cure episode ,I’ve enjoyed how every character has been handled so far as we get to the hafl+way mark. i enkjoyed seeing rewikp pop up like that & it was reasonable for her to be the one. i am excited to see akiko spot+lighted next with of course fujigahya satoshin hehehe. i think i know who fumiya fujii is bytheway . . .

that ending was sweet, even though i guess after all the gaslighting Xiao Chen has lived through, he can't see that Lu Feng is still the same guy, who loved/loves him. which kinda breaks my heart, cause if they communicated, they could save themselves all the heartache & misunderstanding in the future, that will turn their relationship into a toxic one - but then this wont be what it's meant to be. ****************************************************************************************************************but before that, guess i am the only one that is really pissed at the whole messed-up triangle at the start, where poor Xiao Chen was getting manipulated by his younger brother & the guy his younger brother wasn't ready to accept (yet) as his words & his actions were contradictory. also he was up in arms when his brother was with Lu Feng, but now he's A-ok that his brother is gonna date Qin Lang - how that work?!?? ******************************************************************************************& Qin Lang telling Xiao Chen his brother really loves/cares for him, cause he puts him before even himself - i laughed out loud at that farcical statement - the f*cker is acting out of guilt!! he lied & gaslit his brother into believing Lu Feng was just paying with him & has moved on. now he feels guilty that he hid the message - he sees his brother is still suffering ,his way to make penance is to give him Qin Lang??? kinda give him... cause he really wants Qin Lang to himself, but how can he accept him / accept being gay after how he treated his own brother?!? insulted him saying he wasn't normal, didn't allow him to contact the one he loved..??!? while Qin Lang only has eyes for him & might as well treat Xiao Chen like air, when the younger brother is around(!)the fact Xiao Chen isn't catching on, is cause he is in a world of his own (a world of pain) not even half way through this ep & i wanna knee both the younger sibling & Qin Lang in the balls - they acting like they r making this grand sacrifice - like they r the ones suffering, when the one who is being played & insulted is Xiao Chen - they treating him like a moron. ************the scene where he finds out & doesn't even react/care - like he is numb - little wonder, given how his world got shattered when he was ripped apart from the only one he loved. this so sad, that i really have no place in my heart for the 2nd couple. the younger sibling is the worst, at least in Lu Feng's sisters case, she didn't lie to her brother & kept trying to manipulate him after the fact, like Yi Chen has done to his older brother all to appease his own guilt

bummer we didn't get another chapter of Eui Ju's musing, so not that funny of an ep but so endearing, that she went in search of Ji-a at least someone cares for that kid - she way better then Eui Ju's stuck-up bff. i seriously don't care for her & if Eui Ju is the one to come ass-kissing i for one am gonna riot - she doesn't deserve Eui Ju as a friend IMO. not when she's gonna toss her aside for a man - a man that doesn't even know of her existence. like r u serious?!? freakin pisses me off the more i think about it. *************************************************************************************************************************************Ga U Su is another good human, wish all teachers were like him - even though when confronted with the loan sharks he should've called the cops not transferred the money. they not trust worthy - why get involved in the 1st place?!? or after giving them the money go to the cops & file a complaint - i for sure would've been asking Ji-a why she took a loan in the 1st place - something was hella shady. so i aint shocked the ep ended the way it did. but love how Eui Ju didn't think twice & ddn't just reach out to Ga U Su, but then went to his friends. all really good people - still wondering why not contact the cops as they pretty much kidnapped Ji-a. but it is what it is

everyone swooning over the NC scene & i guess it's about time Phop reap some rewards, after everything Khun keeps putting him through. but must say i just about had enough with Khun's thoughtlessness - dude is like a headless chicken. i was happy when he finally decided to confide in Phop, asking for his help. but he still somehow ends up making a mess of things. & i have to say that constant smile is taking me out - it's like a child in his 1st play enjoying himself too much he forgets he needs to focus/stay in character - he smiles all the time & it doesn't fit the mood that is being set by the scene. couldn't the director make him stop?!?? get this is his 1st role (as a lead) but he has acted before - no guidance? guess just me noticing & finding this freakin annoying. *********************************************************************************************************************anyway moron should be smarter, but he isn't - so idk why i keep expecting him to be... but anyone with eyes can see that Prim is lying - the big question, why. is she the master mind & Cherd her subordinate? that's the vibe i get - for sure i know she is playing the victim & for someone that comes from the future, Khun should be more suspicious of everyone. not to mention her acting isn't that convincing. **********************************************************************************************************also Phop is deluding himself if he thinks his mother loves him so much, she will accept Khun as her daughter-in-law, wont be shocked if both his parents kick Khun out after beating him within an inch of his life. given the time period & their statue, i don't see a different/better outcome for them. but when ur in-love u can't think. Jom might be heartless for how he is treating Kaew, but he is smarter & his way will keep them both alive & not get them kicked out of their respective families.
