A Man and a Woman
Wow, what a great connection these two actors have. This movie is amazing. The music, the reality of being in love, and how it feels —not getting what you both need. Accepting your place and sitting in it for a while.
This really hurt to watch.
I would have a hard time watching it again.
Thank you for allowing me to see through your eyes.
I was profoundly touched.

MUST READ!! (REALLY REALISTIC❣️)
This movie was SOOO good! I seriously cannot explain in words. I was kicking my feet the whole time and screaming at 3 AM and even got scolded, but the risk was worth it.Their acting was on point. Both of them are very handsome as well. It’s actually so good that I personally rewatch it every day.The people hating don’t know anything about a good BL. They’re just watching it for the spicy scenes and not the plot NOR the acting!! I need to see more of them😩😭 Stardust do your job and put them in another project together. The only thing bothering me and annoying me so much is the fact that the movie wasn’t longer!!It actually felt like I was watching two lovers. They fit their roles so well. The acting felt natural and convincing and the chemistry between the leads was incredible!!If I could watch it for the first time again I definitely would. I recommend this a lot. I LOVE this movie.🥹💖Was this review helpful to you?

IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE (THIS IS NOT SARCASTIC)
I don’t know what people had against this movie. I personally think it was amazing, people that watched this and give out bad reviews have probably watched Thai BL that makes their chemistry seem like the bare minimum. It’s actually not, like this is the best movie I’ve ever watched. There’s no such BL that had ever had such a good plot, amazing actors and such an amazing OST. Everything about this movie was a masterpiece. There is nothing that made me like it less, everything about it made me so shocked because of how beautifully this is portrayed. Aloha and Jyutaro really got me with this one because this is a masterpiece. I recommend it a 100%. If you haven’t watched this, then do it because this is so beautiful. People that are hating on it are just mad because there was no more than smooches, but in my opinion, BL series or movies shouldn’t only consist of kisses, spicy scenes etc., if you’re not into that type of movies or series, I do not recommend this for you because if you’re gonna look down on BL just because it didn’t have spicy scenes or anything then I don’t like you and you don’t deserve to watch this masterpiece. Was this review helpful to you?
The acting was INSANE!!
Every emotion pain angertrauma feels so real that at some points it actually makes you uneasy. You dont feel like you’re watching characters.. you feel like you’re watching real people going through something brutal.
What really stands out is how deeply the film pulls you into its world you start caring about certain characters so much that you just want to protect them.. while at the same time feeling pure anger towards others and THAT emotional contrast hits hard and at the same time.. its not a perfect film some scenes feel a bit abrupt and certain transitions could’ve been smoother.. there are moments where you feel like something ended too quickly or could’ve been explored more... but even with that, the impact stays strong.
This is not atypical thriller or emotional drama. It leans more in dark psychological and uncomfortable storytelling... the kind that makes you reflect on things like pain choices and how far someone can go when pushed. It’s one of those movies that doesn’t just entertain you it makes you sit with your thoughts after it ends... if you’re someone who prefers light or fast paced content, this might feel too heavy but if you’re okay with something intense emotional and thought provoking.. its definitely worth watching.
wont say flawless but powerful enough to stay in your head

Find My Own "Line"
As an artist, the story spoke to my heart, though my artwork isn't sume-i.This story speaks of art not just as a pretty picture but of the heart of the artist. It conveys a story of the artist's life which the viewer may not see.
The story of Sosuke from being directionless to finding his 'line' does not only apply to artists. It speaks of becoming - the thought of a progressive transformation of finding one's calling.
From the opening of the movie, I had been curious as to why Sosuke was so teary-eyed just by looking at one painting. I asked myself, what moved him? Little do we know that the picture is connected to his family whom he lost in a tragedy.
I do not know Japanese actors. The characters were not the loud ones, but in their faces, you can see their emotions.
1. Sosuke - a young man drifting, not even sure if his course is the right one. His chance meeting with Master Kozan had given him a new lease in life. Only in the end do we see a happy Sosuke when he finally found his line.
2. Kozan - he sees something in Sosuke to take him in as apprentice. It was not his skill; it was his heart.
3. Chiaki - she has been working hard with her art; however, it was mechanical. Her encounter with Sosuke challenged her to find her own line as well.
It isn't just about art, but also about life, about moving forward despite of a tragedy.
It isn't just about being a student, but about finding your purpose in life.
A master can teach the basics, but still each one should find his own line. The skill to compose, to draw or create is not the essence of art. The artist's heart brings life to his art which moves us to appreciate life.
Now it inspires me to look beyond what I see and create my own line which speaks to the heart of man.

A Meaningful Journey that is Heartwrenching!!
This is the story of a deposed teenage king, stuck in a village, unaware of his untimely demise!!Set in the 15th century, “The King’s Warden” imbues a story of friendship between a deposed king and a humble village chief. The movie dwells deeper into their relationship as each of them comes to terms with the King’s unlikely death. Park Ji Hoon embodies the sickly, weak teenage King Lee Hong Ui who was later demoted to Prince Nosan and exiled to Cheongnyeongpo, Yeongwol. The small village barely has the necessary facilities to house a deposed monarch. The scheming minister, Han Myeong Hoe sends the deposed King to that small village hoping he will commit suicide. Unbeknownst to him, the villagers rekindle his desire to live and protect his subjects. As he rises in rebellion, Han Myeong Hoe uses this pretext to execute him. As you follow Prince Nosan’s journey with the villagers, you comprehend his kind nature and his protective nature. He is humble and loves spending time with the illiterate villagers, as he teaches him.

Not what I expected
The plot was good, and I expected a "silent" and touching love story, but here it was impalpable.I didn't like that ML pretended to be able to play the piano (taking advantage of her being blind), nor that she found out without telling him... well, what the heck is this?
Realistically, I didn't see the basis for a love story to develop; without the medium of communication or eye contact, it could have been explored more deeply (perhaps the idea was better on paper than on screen).
The first part of the film is very slow, and we mainly follow Aoi's day-to-day life. In the second half, the story becomes so melodramatic that it seems forced, just to accommodate Aoi's sacrifice, going to prison in his place.
I thought the cast was passable. With a script like this, everything relied on the actors' expressions, and unfortunately, they didn't convey anything to me. She, in particular, was lacking.
For me this movie was quite disappointing, I wouldn't recommend it.

Chaotically Messy but Weirdly Real
Perhaps Love was one of those movies I discovered through a random short clip that instantly made me curious. It looked fun, awkward, and chaotic and thankfully, that’s exactly what it delivered. The comedy here isn’t the loud slapstick type. It’s more awkward, situational, and rooted in how messy human relationships can get, which honestly made it even funnier for me.What surprised me is that beneath all the chaos, there’s actual depth and emotion tucked into the story. The relationships and situations are so oddly intertwined that I kept thinking, “대박 말도 안돼” because what are the chances of all these connections happening? But at the same time… life really does get absurd like that sometimes. That mix of ridiculousness and realism somehow works in the movie’s favor.
It’s not my usual kind of film, but I genuinely enjoyed it until the end. I kept bracing myself for what insane or emotional thing would happen next, and that unpredictability made the whole ride entertaining. Messy, strange, emotional, and unexpectedly relatable in its own bizarre way.

Every time you think "It cannot possibly go there", it GOES there.
The number of times I thought "oh well it cannot be that cruel" It is insanely cruel ruthless and hard. I would never have survived the palace lmao. Great game, esp for sticking to its principles throughout and not having any noticeable plotholes or discrepancies. The plot has been thought out really well by people who are obv smarter than me and i love that. Was this review helpful to you?
a decent watch
this movie is not full of romance scenes , its about gang stuff, has violence (but nothing intensely disturbing), and a bit of romance. it was a nice watch overall and i liked the male leads (even tho the acting felt a bit stiff sometimes) and i especially liked how it ended, there is something nice about watching deliquents and romance .watching it didnt feel like im wasting my time so i do recommend it ,and i want to thank the fansubbers for subbing it

Another South Korean film spoiled by Netflix
Another excellent South Korean film script trivialized, mortified, and thrown down the toilet by Netflix. I imagine Netflix bought the rights to the film script and had the screenplay written by someone who simply had to follow certain protocols for what should be in a South Korean spy film script. A fantastic premise from an evidently brilliant South Korean mind trivialized and materialized in a shoddy and utterly forgettable film. Another wonderful opportunity ruined by Netflix. Was this review helpful to you?

I want more of this genre from Japan!
Tbh, I’ve been counting the days until we’d get a delinquent BL from Japan, and I would say this is a great start. It’s not perfect, but I do believe it might open doors for more Japanese BLs in this genre.PROS
→ DELINQUENTS IN JBL! DELINQUENTS IN JBL! DELINQUENTS IN JBL! – It’s like getting a rare card from Japan.
→ Decent action scenes – While this movie doesn’t have High&Low -level action sequences, I would say it’s still pretty good and won’t take you out of the story.
→ Plot – A simple but well‑made plot. It’s nothing new or extraordinary, but I think it’s still well done. It has its dark bits, but I appreciate the way the movie balances the darkness with some comedy and romance. While I do have some issues with how the romance is handled, I still think it’s enjoyable as a movie, especially if you’re an action/delinquent‑genre lover like me.
→ A well‑executed/decent kiss scene – I know this is a bit sad to say, but from my observations, a lot of JBLs tend to have dead‑fish kisses, so I was glad this one wasn’t like that. That alone gains a point in my book.
CONS
→ The BL aspect could have been developed better. I’m not saying I want intimate scenes or anything, but a better‑developed love line with more depth regarding their feelings would’ve been nice. I wish they had shown more about how their feelings developed, but the movie simply doesn’t have enough time for that.
→ The acting was a bit stiff, especially from Jyutaro’s side. I felt like he held the same expression throughout the entire movie, even though we’re supposed to see him feeling different emotions. Sadness 😐 Love 😐 Worry 😐 Guilt 😐 It was a bit frustrating to watch, ngl.
Overall, I would say this is a pretty decent watch. This would’ve been way, WAY better as a drama with more time to develop the storyline, but I’ll take it. I admit my ratings are a tiny bit biased since I love the delinquent action genre, especially since this one is also a BL. However, even if you’re not particularly a fan of the genre, I still think it’s worth a shot. It won’t blow your mind or make you fall in love, but it’s entertaining when you have nothing else to watch.

Movie equivalent of fake plastic display food
Sure, it looks good from afar with all the handsome faces, but once you look more closely and hold it in your hands, you quickly realize that it's completely hollow and inedible.I really wonder if they even tried with the writing because the story unfolds in such a confusing and backwards way that makes the characters feel empty. The whole time I just kept shouting "Why??" at my screen because the motivations behind everyone's actions don't make any sense, or they're explained in retrospect through cheap "reveals" and exposition dumps after the fact which doesn't at all lend itself to caring about anything that's happening. It's not a good sign for a live-action adaptation if it feels like I needed to have read the manga (which I haven't) for baseline context to follow the story.
The abysmal lack of chemistry between the two leads also means that there's nothing to latch onto in the romance side of things either. I'm an EBiDAN fan, but after seeing this on top of their other projects I've watched, I'm starting to feel like Aloha and Jyutaro just can't act. At the same time, I can't fault them too much because this movie seems wholly uninterested in letting them develop their acting skills and is instead solely focused on their visuals, as evidenced by the two separate and prolonged shower scenes and the gratuitous shots of them shirtless. Their interactions really felt like a kid smashing two Ken dolls together and calling it a day which is just sad.
The only points I'm willing to give are for Arashi Shoma, who - apart from being a handsome new face - actually brought some semblance of personality and romantic yearning through his character. My favorite part of the whole movie was the throwaway scene where one of the Beni High kids gives Madoka a Western-style breakfast and Tsuyuki said he prefers Japanese food lol.
"Boring, boring, boring!" is ultimately a very fitting line to be repeated in this movie. It's a complete and utter disservice to BL and yankee media that brings nothing but disappointment. Let's expect more from our BL everybody!!!

Officer Chan Chi Kit has gone undercover and become hooked on drugs in the process. When a kidnapping he’s supposed to be conducting goes awry, he ends up being the kidnapped party. Held in a Thai prison, Kit is at the mercy of the crooked warden, Ko Chun. His uncle, Detective Chan Kwok Wah, will stop at nothing to rescue his nephew, even defying the police department to do so. Working at the Thai prison as a guard is Chai. Paid to look the other way at some of the unsavory dealings, he stays there to pay for his daughter’s cancer treatment as he searches for a bone marrow donor for her. The Big Bad, Hung Mun Gong, also has health concerns. He is in desperate need of a heart transplant with the only donor available to him…his brother. What to do? What to do?
The story for the film was straightforward yet the director/writers decided to make it a nausea inducing tilt-o-whirl of flashbacks with no warning. The past events weren’t that complex that they needed parsing out to make the film more suspenseful. Nor were the events over a significant span of time. Aside from the flashbacks they added coincidence upon coincidence upon coincidence. Given the human organ trafficking, there was a vague, brief conversation over which lives were more valued. Chai had to decide the line of sacrifice he could not cross for his daughter. Chan had to weigh his boss’ orders against the life of his nephew. And Hung was far less conflicted over his brother’s heart.
The acting was sufficient for the story line. Simon Yam and Wu Jing were both resurrected from SPL 1, though not the actual characters. Zhang Jin was largely called upon to look menacing with his cheekbones sharp enough to cut diamonds. Tony Jaa is usually a stronger fighter than actor, but he managed to pull off the concerned and conflicted father role. At nearly 60 years of age, old-time kung fu fighter Ken Lo, was a nice partner for Tony to work with.
Now for the fights, the main reason to watch this film. The first fight between Wu and Jaa was disappointing as the two threw numerous windmill punches. As the film progressed, the fights improved. When the final battle took place, the long-awaited fast fists, flying kicks and knees, of Wu, Zhang, and Jaa arrived full force. Though Tony’s normally bone crunching elbows and knees felt a little subdued. In his films he usually hits his opponents to incapacitate them, where here, they often bounced back up. Wu Jing is delightfully fast, yet it wasn’t until much later in the film when Kit finally got his bitch on and remembered he could fight. The concluding scene was absolutely ridiculous, hilariously so, but also weirdly fun in a sadistic way. If you are a fan of any or all three martial artists, SPL 2 is worth giving a try.
