First of all I know that most reviews probably revolve around the young men in this KD, but I want to start with Hwang Shin Hye as Choi Kang Sun. She is amazing in this drama!!! She plays crazy evil like a pro and brings that character to life!!! She manipulates EVERYONE and does it well. Wang Ji Hye as Jin Jin Shim/Mok Ga On also plays her character well. You can tell that she has Stockholm Syndrome in a major way. The story wasn't quite what I thought it would be, because it doesn't center around the bachelors as much as I thought it would, but it is still good. The child switch is the major issue in this drama and I thought that it was played out well. The acting was great. I really enjoyed all of the actors and they played their characters well. The bromance between the guys is cheesy and cute. I thought that the teens of the main characters did a great job and were too adorable. I think the dad should have taken more responsibility at the end, because I think that some of the reason that Kang Sun acted the way she did was because of him. However the ending was satisfying. I didn't give it much of a rewatch value because I probably won't rewatch it. It was good enough the first time. You should watch it though at least once.

Well... I am writing this review completely depressed because I finished yet another amazing drama, and now it's going to be hard for me to find a new one...

Ok, I'll start with the small things first, but if you really want my actual opinion, just skip to the story part. Music. I thought it was pretty good, but then again, music is one of the small things I pay attention to... But, seeing how it didn't disturb the scenes in any way, but rather added more emotion into them, I give music a ten.

Acting/Cast. Oh gosh. What can I say? For me, I think all the actors were absolutely amazing. If I were to recast this, I couldn't imagine the story with any other actors. In fact, I'm sure the entire cast were all unfamiliar faces to me, but I thought they portrayed their characters wonderfully.

Rewatch Value. Hm... I usually give amazing dramas like this one (which have a huge impact on me) a rewatch value of 8. I really do want to watch it again, but I don't want to go through all the depressing moments again... I can't really give an accurate review for this one, so I'll just give it a 7...

Yay! Finally. The story. Just... wow. I really couldn't have expected anything better. I liked how the producers spaced the drama out. 29 episodes may seem like a lot for a drama, as most South Korean dramas usually have 16, 18, or 20 episodes. So, you're probably thinking that with lots of long dramas, there are going to be slow periods at the middle. However, that is not the case with this one. WBDS is almost like two series' combined into one. There are small climaxes in the story at around episode 5, and episode 23, and one huge climax at episode 14-16. In fact, After that climax, many new characters were introduced, and it seemed to me as though a new series was starting. Another thing about this drama that impressed me a lot were the bonds between friends and family. I was absolutely amazed with how much strength was shown in those bonds... Argh. I don't think I can give any more explanations without it resorting to spoilers... Also, I loved how the story not only told a story of a generation, but the story of many. The drama contained small parts which focused on each of the main characters, and with those tidbits, I realized that I could relate with them, and understand each character a little more. Throughout the drama, the main characters matured considerably (and a small thing I realized was that the producers changed the hairstyles of the main characters throughout the drama to reflect their personality). Ok, now for the negatives, and why I didn't give the story a ten. Well, there is really only one reason for this drama not to receive a ten. I actually thought the story was very well thought out and executed, but in truth, it was much too depressing. Too many great characters died (hope that's not a spoiler...) and while this happens with 98% of everything I watch, I still have not grown desensitized to my favourite characters dying. Also, Yeo Woon is one of the most pitiful characters I've ever seen, and I really don't like it when a character is too pitiful, especially when he looks like THAT. You know what I mean.

All in all, I loved everything about it except for the utterly depressing death scenes.

There is plenty of drama and action and many great characters. The characters are made memorable by a set of brilliant actors.

The story is good, though at times, (like after several major characters pass away) it seemed as if there isn't much for the plot to go on. Then new problems were created and the story goes along.

The transformation of Baek Dong Soo from a deformed kid to the stunning warrior is a long journey, and is shown through the course of the drama with realism and beauty.
The character of Yeo Woon, who is the other pillar of the drama, is equally strong and leaves an impression.

Among the characters, The Sky Lord and Sword Saint are very impressive. The female characters are very resourceful, and not clingy or weak.
The negative characters are highly selfish and evil. The main villain is very annoying with his typical "Villain"ish laugh.

The music is pretty good. I especially liked the music in the climax fight scene inside the palace.

The series does drag at times, when it focuses too long on melodramatic scenes, but it's an entertaining watch except for the way they choose to end it. My only suggestion would be to wind up with the second last episode for a good ending, because the last one leaves us disillusioned.

Holy Moley this film is good! At a glance its a fast paced, adraline pumped and thrilling action movie. But unlike most movies of this type it also offers an explantion as to why the things are happening. The cast are amazing, the main girl is hilarious and Lee Min Ki is hot and funny. With a side of badass. The oneliners and swearing only add to the fun affect.

I seriously suggestion you watch this if you like any movie that gets your heart pumping! A real good watch 10/10

Tokyo Boy is a movie in which tells a story in which you can't find in most movies today. This psychological romance movie shows you the life of the young girl Minato, Ever since a young age Minato has managed to find herself a penpal, Little does she know about him except that he is a boy on her age.

In a early age Minato (Horikita Maki) lost her parents to a caraccident and as a result from this she had to move in to her senile grandmother as she was the only family she had. Night is not just any usuall boy, He is one that Minato can tell even her darkest secrets to with her trust for him always remaining. Lately she has fallen in love, In the convenience-store she works she met Karasawa Shu by a coincidence, He helps her out in something that usually would cause her salary to be deducted. From this moment on she fell in love with him. Sending Night letters telling him about how she feel, The result will be one not expected from anyone. Who is this Night really?
A romance takes place in where it doesn't seem to belong in Tokyo Boy, The story of a girl with a strange illness yet to be labled with a name.

The music in this movie isn't really that much to brag about, But then again it is not really a music-based movie in the first place. I gave it a six as I am neither especially satesfied nor Too greatly dissapointed by it.

This movie will be recommended to people who enjoy psychological movietypes or dramas. The pace is really slow at first, However the movie will manage to catch up with itself. A great movie, Yet not one of the best. It's worth the watch anyways though.

This is a funny movie! I mean I laugh from the beginning til the last part!..
Park Jin Hee played her role really well, she was Hillarious without her overacting like some of the actress!..

Ji-Ho was in-love with Min-woo since high school.Years late she got hit by a car that min-woo was driving and she pretend to have amnaesia just to be close to him..

THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL LIGHT AND FUNNY ROMANTIC COMEDY!! i loved it so much I re-watched it!..

I've never been so humored and creeped out by a movie in my life, like I have been by Chilling Romance. The story is different. I don't know many comedic horror movies, do you? It was the perfect blend in genres that are never blended together. There's romance, humor, and horror. There were parts that are crazy funny, and others where you'll be super creeped out and scared. The romance was lovely; how they fell for each other and how the male lead was willing to accept the female lead, and all that goes with, like...I don't know, ghosts? The actors did wonderful. I don't think the characters could be played by different actors, or else the movie wouldn't have been the same. There wasn't really any music, but I loved the song for the end credits. It wasn't an overjoyed happy song, and it wasn't creepy like you hear in horror movies, but it was just how it was, and it fit perfectly. It's the sort of movie that you'll want to rewatch right away, but I doubt there would be the same suspense like there would be watching it the first time, because you'll know what's going to happen next. I absolutely loved this movie from the very first minute. It's a great movie, and worth watching 100% So, enjoy...:}

at first, i don't think this is a good drama just by looking at the picture and the summary. But Ive just tried to watch, it is very good story indeed.

Although the story background about baseball, but actually it is more concerned about the stalker who is chasing Park Moo Yul's life.

Most of all, i like the story line which we can't predict and also how the romance goes between Eun Jae and Park Moo Yul. It's different than other romance drama.

"Female leads in horror movies can't seem to fall in love. Strange, isn't it?"

Usually when a movie includes extremely pale children and tall women in desperate need of a haircut, it's the type of movie that will leave you hiding behind your pillow, but not this one! Or well, not this one for about 90% of the time. That 90% delivers your favorite K-drama theme; not so socially acceptable woman meets incredibly handsome man, and soon comedy and cute scenes are to follow.

The comedy relief is, well, an actual relief. Lee Min Ki and Son Ye-jin did an amazing job on portraying the main characters and some of the scenes were very funny. This is a movie for everyone, even for those who aren't quite found of scary movies (but do cover your eyes when there is obvious creepy music or dark scenes around the corner! You have been warned.)

I can't pinpoint what it is, but I feel as if something was missing in the storyline. But as a Lee Min Ki fan, I'm overall satisfied with this movie!

I never expected I'd like this drama so much, I mean love with a robot seemed weird, but as soon as I watched the first 2 episodes, I really understood the angle this drama explored and I fell in love with it!
I was glued to my pc and watched the bloody thing in a day and a half , it was that captivating for me lol.
What I enjoyed was the great acting, I found most roles were distributed quite well, especially the leads. The multitude of funny moments were stellar, as well as the ' awww, so cute!' moments, because it is more than a robot discovering its human feelings, it's about a human discovering it's humanity and true self with the help of a robot, and that made it such a captivating story.
The ending was perfect, although I wept like a baby, even more than I did after watching 49 days, I think, I was just sucked into the story really well, and although it was a sad ending, it was well suited and perfect.
A word of advice : DO NOT WATCH THE SPECIAL !!!!!!!! It was a huge disappointment to me, it ruins the whole story and it has a very weak script.

I really enjoyed this drama, it was funny, with a lot of silliness and foolish behavior, the story wasn't credible, the series did not portray some romantic real life happenings, but I guess that is why I enjoyed it so much!
If you are looking for something relaxing and you're aren't concerned with how a show usually tries to make the story a tad bit credible, than this drama will be to your fancy!
The whole script is fairy-tale like, an impenetrable handsome, smart and charming prince and the ugly duckling, silly, baka, but honest and with true innocent love for the prince.
If one were to over-think this drama, sure the female character would be considered clingy, a simpleton with no self esteem and will or pride, but the show is not a slice-of-life, it just overly conveys the idea that the characters are fairy tale depictions ( as suggested from the very first few minutes of the show, with her chasing the unicorn).
I loved the characters interaction, I loved the lengths to which the female lead went to show her love and support, I really enjoyed the story development and the silly comedy, the supporting cast was extremely good, especially the mother and her 2 best friends, and I loved how the series was just so well rounded, with a great ending and and awesome character evolution.
It isn't a life changing drama, but it gets you to laugh and forget about real life worries, intricate problems or what-nots.

Although I loved Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, I do think that this drama is better than the former. The actors are handsome and the actresses are so-so. I especially loved Lee Hyun Soo. He has captured my heart.

Such a wonderful drama, at the beginning is really funny, and the character development is really good, you see their whole journey from prey and predator to friends, as the drama approaches it's end, it gets more and more painful, and I found myself crying through the whole last 2 or 3 episodes.
The soundtrack is just so addictive, there are such beautiful songs, and it fits so well, even parts that may be a bit boring, because of the background music it becomes magical.
In my experience with Kdramas, the action and special effects are not really that good, in this drama there were pretty much amazing, only one or two failures.
The actors are perfect for this one, the "villains" really have that bad guy/girl look, and the main role actors fit so wonderfully together.

I was looking for something relaxing, funny and just silly comedy after watching the emotionally draining '49 days', and I have to say I hit jackpot with this particular drama.
The female lead was extremely enjoyable, she played her role to the letter: a ditzy, emotionally immature, obedient teen that tries to make amends with both her family and her own choices in life, both professionally (through the music she chooses to play), and romantically ( by choosing a boy that her grandfather disapproves of).
The male lead appeared dull and emotionless, but that was due to the nature of his role, also: a young man that had been scared emotionally by the absence of his father, striving to make a name for himself by distancing from his mother's successful career.
Really enjoyable were also the supporting couple, the teachers of the two, which offered an interesting idea of how immature love has kept blossoming through the passing of time and how the silly reasons for breaking up had been resolved by the passing of time.
The supporting cast in the whole was excellent, loved the drummer boy and his ballerina, they acted really well and gave the show a much needed quirky romance.
The music was great, really enjoyed the Gayageum, which I discovered through the show ( I had only listened to the Chinese 'version' of the instrument), and the combination of pop-rock and string instruments was nice and innovative.
All in all, I found this drama very enjoyable, relaxing and not at all sluggish in evolution, and I think it is perfect for those looking for a silly, uncomplicated, music-bathed romance.
I could really compare this drama with the equally entertaining, if not more-so, Playful Kiss, which I absolutely recommend.
