Lovely

Story : Simple story, straight to the point and efficient.

Acting/Cast : As a man i will only talk about the female main role because i think we watch these to relate in some way to story and the feelings going on during the scenes as the counter part of the main actor/actress.
Her acting was touching, her expressions of feelings were heartbreaking.

Physical appearance : natural beauty is something i value very much, i think it makes her prettier than any more famous star doll (even more than the ones considered "beautiful").
With or almost without makeup, she is definitely attractive in her own ways, and my standards.

Artistic direction :
- There weren't many different landscapes, which means that they didn't have a big budget, mostly indoors, and they managed to make a good movie.

- Too many drama/movies nowadays take the easy road of sexual lust (this includes kisses a bit too visual), mistakenly confusing it with erotic genre (relating to or tending to arouse sexual desire or excitement) and forgetting the whole point of what is supposed to be a romantic drama. To each its own, i am old fashioned.

A Political Masterpiece

One of the best dramas of the year! If you're unsure about watching it, just go ahead and watch at least two episodes—you won't be disappointed. This drama was incredibly well done, with acting, pacing, and scheming by the actors all on point.

If you have even a slight interest in politics, it's a feast for you. Don't miss it! The references to the Bible are just analogies, nothing more (and I'm saying this as a non-Christian). Some people are overreacting to these references, but the characters aren't trying to convert anyone. They are simply drawing comparisons to explain political scenarios. This is one of the best dramas about today's world and modern politics.

My rating: 9.5/10

P.S. The ending was perfect (though I won't say it's happy, sad, or neutral, as none of those options apply here).

luvluv (MORE RECOGNITION FOR THIS SERIES!)

UPDATE: AAGHHH I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH! What I love the most are the hug scenes T_T it's so gentle and so comfy, also the way Asami strokes Yuki's head AGHHHHHHH. How to be Yuki? I want to have someone so gentle and caring like Asami huhu.
Anyways an update about the kissing scene, DAMN episode 9 and 10 really surprised me. 10/10, hahaha.

Contrary to what other people said here, this series is actually really good! I like it sooo much! Although the first few kissing scenes seemed a bit off and looks pretty awkward, its still good though. However as a bl fan, kissing scenes don't really matter to me, as long as they know how to convey the character's emotion—which the actors did—I'm fine with it and will like it very much!

(I can't watch it properly because of Kiita?? tooo handsome!)

P.S. This is my first ever review. I've never written reviews before, this series is just too good for me that I made an account and shared a review here to support them.

very sweet reality show

Coming to see what is this show about from His Man Season 2 (and the first four episodes of S3) and from Boys Like Boys, I was pleasantly surprised.
I feel like Philippines are not very well known for their series (they also don't produce as much ofc) as Thailand, Korea or Japan (or maybe even Taiwan, that may have gotten some attention from being the first Asian country to allow equal marriages (way to go!))
First things first, I am not shunning down the two tv shows mentioned above, I enjoyed watching them for different reasons and had fun with all of them.
But I felt like in Sparks Camp the participants were more honest. The hostess, who was such an empathetic person to guide the men through the emotional confessions that they made, was literally the best. Slay Mother sparker, fr.
The connections between the participants felt genuine and all of them were portrayed as three dimensional beings even in the short run time of the show (I binged watched it, way to start a summer, hehe).
The atmosphere reminded me a bit of connections in Boys Like Boys, comparing these two to His Man I feel like the men in His man are a bit more competitive, so it doesn't always feel like such a safe space there, as in Sparks Camp (or Boys like boys).
Another plus in Sparks Camp was about the diversity of the participants, I overall really appreciate diversity in everyday life, so them being quite different from each other - both with personalities and appearances, was very nice to see.
Now we're getting another season! Way to go Black Sheep, looking forward to it.
Peace out :)

Most Watch

if you love historic drama, love story and suspense : watch it.

character are lovable and some you will hate and love them.
you can't predict what will happen episode to episode, that install the suspens.

Acting is really good, Suho is perfect. I love all the characters.

if you want to watch a rom come, I will say to you yes there is romance. but this is not a comedy. this is an historical drama so lot of politic and fight.

I truly recommend this show.

I will with no doubt watch it again

love you

A superb drama, fabulously interpreted and masterfully produced

This is a super addictive series with great actors

PLOT: The FL forced the ML2 into a marriage, even she knows he loves the FL. 2 years later, she lost everything: divorce, father beheaded, family ruined, herself on the run and beaten in court... She wakes up 2 years earlier, on her wedding night, and decides to "put everything back in order", but it turns out to be more difficult than expected ;)

What I liked:
+ the CL, adorable, with Zhou Ye & Wang Xing Yue (no kiss, but an intense chemistry)
+ The FL is intelligent, determined.
+ The story is well constructed, credible, respecting the statutes, rules & protocols of his time.
+ The production is effective, without length, giving clues little by little, and maintaining the suspense skillfully.
+ The OSTs are well suited to the emotions of the different scenes.
+ Even the ending is satisfying, credible, logical.

What I liked less:
# The ML2 and FL2 display a poker face in the majority of scenes. FL2 is supposed to be very beautiful (so that all the men who meet her will fall for her) but I find her much less pretty than most of the servants in this series...

=> a superb drama, fabulously interpreted and masterfully produced. Kudos to the whole Team ☆✲゚。(((´♡‿♡`+)))。゚✲☆

What I liked :

What I liked less :
# Le ML2 et la FL2 affichent une poker-face dans la majorité des scènes. La FL2 est sensée être très belle (pour que tous les hommes qui la croisent soient en admiration) mais je la trouve beaucoup moins jolie que la plupart des servantes de cette série.

=> un superbe drama, fabuleusement interprété et magistralement réalisé. Kudos à toute la Team ☆✲゚。(((´♡‿♡`+)))。゚✲☆

A clear story that brings both comfort and fondness

This really brought me so much comfort. It was cozy, like a hot chocolate during winter. The story was well written and it was executed amazingly.
It was just really amazing to see a realistic teenage high school drama for once. The absence of miscomunications and love triangles was like a breath of fresh air.

It's a story where you get to witness the strong bond among people that grow closer little by little and become such close friend. You get to see growing love as well as the many hardships that teens often experience. The creation of meaningful relationships and everything else were things that I was really happy to see and that really made me emphatise with the characters. Of course it may seem a bit cheesy at times but that's what I really loved about it. I felt like a little kid daydreaming about love and wondering about my future.

Boring

I am really disappointed. The story progress was the most boring part, it just made me mad. There was also too much music, almost made me want to watch the drama without the sound (im not joking, there was really a lot of music). Yes it is a drama about kpop trainees BUT it is not necessary to play OSTs EVERY SINGLE MINUTE !!! Imma be honest, the acting wasn't that good either (except for Kim Yoonwoo), i didn't feel the emotions, the feelings, i didn't feel ANYTHING. The actors are cute yes, but the looks don't do everything.

Disapointed

It was my first thai drama. I watched it because I've loved asian romance dramas for a long time and I've heard a lot about it. I thought it was going to be that sexy, steamy dark romance and I think that's really what they tried to do with this drama, but it was so poorly done.

Let's talk about the things I liked first:
- Porsche. His actor was awesome, I liked his character and the fact that he was not just super cool but also kinda stupid and careless.
-The fight/action scenes were really well done and choreographed, and I particularly loved the last two episodes, they were super intense.
-Vegas and Pete. Their relationship was messed up, dark, touching, intense, and they were both awesome as individual characters. I saw a review that said that this couple made them want to skip Kinn/porsche's scenes and I agree. If they hadn't been there, I would have dropped the serie probably.

Now onto everything I hated
First of all, Kinn is such a poorly written character. They say he is super cruel but then he's always super nice with Porsche from the beginning, and he is stupid as hell, always making the bad decisions. I also could not connect with his actor at all. The relationship between Kinn/porsche seemed forced, I truly did not find any chemistry in there and I think it's mainly because of Kinn. And they act all lovey dovey super quick, and then it doesn't go deeper from there. Also, most of their shared intimacy happened when Porsche was drunk or drugged, and it takes a super long time before they actually do anything when he is sober.
Also, I liked the comedy and laughed quite a few times, but the balance between the comedy and the drama was not handled well. Like, no, I don't want to see Porsche farting on Kinn under the cover in between two scenes of Pete getting molested.
I said I liked porsche, but it's so annoying how he did almost nothing right. He just got fooled and manipulated throughout the whole drama.
One thing that is very personal, but there were litterally no women in that drama. Yok and Porsche's mother were there I guess but it was so quick and they had no impact on the plot. I'm sure I could time how many minutes we see a woman on screen and it'd be not more than 10 minutes out of 14 hours. I know it's a BL so it's normal for women to have less importance but at that point it was just ridiculous.
And to finish, the f is that ending?? Do they expect us to be happy for them, when Kohn manipulated them all the way, and yet they still believed him in the end and accepted the offer to become head of the minor family?? When they showed us porsche's memory of his parent's death, it showed that Kohn was standing and Gun was sitting, which fits gun's version of the story. So in the end, gun was right? So Porsche has been manipulated all the way till the end, although he said his dream would be to have a bar at the beach and we've seen him trying to get away from the family across the whole drama, and yet they expect us to consider this a happy ending? I know we could say it's not a happy ending, but they handled it as if it was.

To conclude, I don't think I wasted my time cuz it was overall pretty fun to watch but still I was left bored and frustrated most of the time.

Unpopular opinion: it’s one of my favorite dramas

I loved this drama. A lot of the low ratings are from ten years ago. i was a young child ten years ago and didn’t know what Korea even was lol so i can’t speak for back then. But i think it aged really well. For starters it gives this comforting nostalgic feeling that a drama nowadays can’t give you. I thought the storyline was really engaging and loved it a lot. I never felt bored and cried at times. it’s a wholesome story that I enjoyed all the way through. It’s one of my comfort dramas. I’m surprised by the low ratings. Not all dramas have to be ranked on an extraordinary out of this world scale. I loved this drama with every bone in my body. it was beautiful. the ost was beautiful as well. It gives that comforting sweet gen 2 feeling which matches the vibe of the story well.

Sweetest, cutest, most heartwarming!

If you're looking for a school chinese drama with fluff, cuteness, and giggles, When I Fly Towards you will be on my top three of my recommendation. The stort itself is simple, about a bubbly chaotic girl who fell in love at first sight with a calm quiet boy and she pursues him. It does sound like a very repetitive plot, but when you finally watch it, it does not! I don't know why, but unlike in other typical dramas, Su Zai Zai is not annoying at all. In fact, I love her character, confident and strong willed. She is also very cute but not the type that can be pushed around and only waiting for the boy to save her. Zhang Lurang also surprised me. Usually, a guy like this will be rude towards the fmc, but Lurang does the opposite. He's very calm and soft spoken.

Zai Zai really lifts up Lurang's confidence and seems to make his world brigther again. Every interaction between those two are just so cute, feels like I'm back in my high school years. I also like how after they got together, Lurang seems to smile, speak, and initiate more.

Too bad we don't see much of Gu Ran, Jiang Jia, and Guan Fang, after high school graduation. The video type of scenes also make it very nostalgic and personal. Overall, this is a very fun and cute watch. This will be on of the dramas that I will visit often to see my favorite scenes.

bitter hell

this drama really had many loop holes, draggy plots, very dumb main characters despite their degrees, a villain from comic books (can't believe that writer let her get away without punishment for so long). two things that kept me watching were the two leading ladies: kim hee sun (also, her character was the one i was rooting for this whole series) and lee hyeyeong for their masterclass acting despite this horrendous script and cinematography which was so breathtaking. what made me extra bitter was the ending of NYW. i can't believe that writers made NYW give up her career for a suicidal psycho.
for people who are considering watching this please threw logic out of the window.

More action than plot

I wouldn't say I'm displeased with the special, but this had more action sequences than required and less plot than it needed, and that's not really what I wanted after waiting for quite a while for it to become available online.

The story wasn't quite up there in terms of intrigue, while they did manage to close up a few loose ends from the series, the special really adds nothing to the actual story. An new storyline, new characters, and it felt more like a new series than a continuation. Even the thing I've come to expect most from specials, a ton of romance and updates on the couples and characters, didn't really come through. It isn't a deal breaker though, The Sign was also primarily an action and mystery series, I just personally expected a bit more.

The production though remained consistent. Several questions answered, but new questions arise, the mystery/action/fantasy elements didn't have the right balance yet again, and the storytelling was a bit up and down, but after a while and after watching The Sign, I've become accustomed to it.

There were quite a few elements that did feel odd and a bit out of place, though ultimately it was fun to watch the IDF gang, and Phaya and Tharn on screen again. The ending was quite good as well, once again left me with a ton of questions, but also very curious.

Enjoyable, a little underwhelming and a lot of action. A LOT.
