I usually tend to see the dramas until the end and then form an opinion. I don't like to say i don't like a drama without trying to watch until the end. I also did this time but it was a pain to watch it.
The story was interesting. The description is a lot interesting and make us wanting to watch. Also the cast is good. But I have learnt that sometimes they have the best cast but the drama turns to be a deception. This was not an exception.
It was a really slow drama and kinda childish for me. The effects, the stops of characters to know what they're thinking, the evil shadows coming from her...
I think overall it was a cute drama, good specially for people between 10-16 years old (at least i think so). I think it has a message as well but it got lost somewhere in the middle with the slow rhythm.
If you watched and were like me, we wanted to see Da Lung's transformation quickly, right? But i got disappointed to see the new guy, he was basically like the old Da Lung, just the old looks changed. I thought he'd be more mature and cool but not.
Even, as a Da Lung of 4 years old later, he should have grown up right? Bt he didnt. I mean, if he was educated in a very strict society and didnt know about the world, when he does, 4 years later, he is the same innocent one from before?
I already said it, i didn't like this drama. This turned to be totally appart from my expectations. People told me good stuff about this drama so it disappointed me even more.
I really like taiwanese dramas but this one was too typical. I looked at it and it almost seemed animes to me xD
Anyway, the actors are good and the acting is good. You will like it if u dont like realistic dramas.

Why could I not find my love? The title actually gives you an idea what you should be expecting. If you are looking for a romance that makes you shed tears of happiness or sadness, this is NOT your drama. This drama more likely questions "love" based on three female characters in a realistic way.If you are a female you may find similarities to your life/emotions etc. If you are a male, it may make you understand a little about the other part.
Eventhough it is "realistic", the story still takes you in and is not boring. It is not like it is too exciting or something but somehow it is warm and calm so you just follow it peacefully.
The characters are pretty well thought and the actors all fit in perfectly. I always think the best acting is the one that you don't notice, so you can say everyone even supporting actors did perfect job.As a minus it has to be mentioned that the male characters were a little weak, but the actors somehow filled the void.
The opening theme along the insert songs are matching the concept very good as well. The intro of the drama is also well thought and along with the music it gives you hints about the characters.
To sum up, I do not think I will watch this drama again. Not because I did not like it but because the drama gave me something to think about and I do not think I'll forget it. Well it may not work the same for you though, so just consider this drama as a warm casual life drama, that will not addict you but probably pass your time.

While watching the drama I continuously asked myself: When will the awesomeness of that drama find his ending?!
I already got hooked up after the first episode, and I never got dissapointed of a single one, which I think is a huge achievement for 20 episodes.
I laughed, cried or just got hyper, even only because of the music they chose. And the best thing is: the end isn't predictable.

So in all I would say you just can't go wrong with watching this drama :)

An incredibly sad movie with a controversial story and great acting by Matsuda Shota, Yamada Takayuki and Yuta Kanai who also shows his singing skills. If you like stories of George Orwell you shall watch this movie because it can also be catagorized as dystopia. It is really interesting to see how people can change when they know that their life is soon to be over. You have to read between the lines to understand the deep thoughts and the criticism on the economy hidden in this story.

Ninomiya Kazunari shows his outstanding acting skills for another time!

The movie tells a bitter-sweet story which has happend in reality.
It shows that even handicapped persons can fulfill their dreams and can overcome many obstacles.

The story is very deep and you can learn many things like tolerance if you watch it with an open mind.

While watching your feelings will change like a rollercoaster ride, on one side it is sad to see the hardships of beeing handicapped and on the other side you will be happy to see his will to fight for acceptance.

All in all a great movie which shall be watched by every Ninomiya fan who likes deep stories.

This drama is really great. In my opinion, 49 Days is the best drama in 2011. After i watched the first episode it hooked me up and it made me curious how the story went. There is a lot of surprise in this drama which is i never expected before.

The actors and actress have a great chemistry and all of them have a great acting skills and i thought Lee Yo Won is the best among the other casts. Lee Yo Won acted two different characters perfectly and it made me love her more.

49 Days is not all about romance but also about the meaning of life. This Drama teach us how to live your life, how to appreciate every second of your life.

This is a very touching story and I thought they used the short time they had to tell it very well. It clarified everything it had to without dragging on and on, which is always good.

Another good thing about this drama is the flashbacks. This is one of the few times I've felt flashbacks are completely necessary and actually helped in the storytelling. I believe they were employed well, and even though they were used a few times, I didn't feel they were abused and that every single one of them achieved its purpose.

The acting was good and the two main leads were more than just good.I thought they portrayed their characters very well. The music helped convey the emotions of those characters too. The only thing that wasn't good were some rather strange/fake effects, but those are not used a lot.

I have to mention another thing which is not really important, but this is possibly the only drama where I have to bow to the stylists. I loved the costumes, both the modern time clothes and the ones in the historical time.

I will very likely be re-watching it soon since it's only two episodes and it doesn't drag.

Cast: Domoto Tsuyoshi - Kashiwaba Toji Hirosue Ryoko - Saeki Makoto Uchiyama Rina - Hayakawa Nao Sonim - Nishina Hiroe Sasaki Kuranosuke - Fujieda Toru Saito Shota - Kashiwaba Yuuji Amano Hiroyuki - Chitose Hajime Synopsis: After a painful break-up two years back, Toji (Domoto Tsuyoshi) seems to be getting his life together. He's settling in at his new job while getting closer to his new girlfriend Nao (Uchiyama Rina). But life doesn't ever go the way you want it. Just when he thinks he's forgotten her, his ex-girlfriend (Hirosue Ryoko) walks back into his life, and into his workplace. Caught between an aggressive ex and a jealous girlfriend, Toji needs to make a choice, but which one is right for him? *SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT* (Nothing major, I promise.) This is the first drama of Tsuyoshi's that I've seen. I'm quite a new fan of his and I've been curious about how well he acts. For those who don't know him, Domoto Tsuyoshi is one half of the popular singing duo KinKi Kids. Aside from performing, they also act in dramas and stageplays, and host television shows. Anyway, I quite enjoyed watching this drama. Perhaps the strongest feature of this drama is how realistic it is. It's a pretty simple plot - a man torn between the one that got away and the one that's right there. And their interpretation of this age-old conflict is just as raw. No over-the-top dramatics or grand gestures. Instead, they stuck to portraying it the way normal people would actually react. One of my favorite elements was Toji's cellphone strap. It was given to him by Makoto (the ex) and matches the one she has. Eventually, Nao catches on that they both have the same strap. That tiny issue sparks so many different emotions among the three of them, and I think the complexity of their emotions came across really well. Tsuyoshi did quite well with this role. His portrayal of Toji as a reserved man who is always struggling to do the right thing really impressed me. His emotions were controlled and subtle. I was also pleasantly surprised that I ended up liking Hirosue Ryoko. It was quite a difficult role to portray, precisely because it's a side of women that most of us wouldn't want to admit to. And yet, I sympathized with her and saw myself in her more times than one. Such was also the case with Nao's character. Between these two women, you'd quite likely find something to identify with. Accenting the main conflict between the three of them are the various relationship conflicts that the people around them are going through. Toji's parents, for one, seem to be trapped in a marriage with little affection and respect for one another. Toji's friend and colleague Chitose enters into a relationship with a much younger woman and agonizes over the implications of such a situation. These stories add color to the drama and intensify the message that relationships tend to be so much more complicated than we'd like them to be. However, I wouldn't recommend this drama to everyone. It's not meant to be hilarious or silly. Neither will it send thrills up and down your spine. But if you've been in a long-term relationship before I think that you will like this drama. It's subtle and introspective and you come away with your own thoughts on what it means to really love someone.

Definitely one of the best dramas that I have seen. I was a bit disappointed with ATHENA since I watched that first, but after watching IRIS, I can understand why they wanted a spinoff. The storyline is superb, with little to no dragging parts that can be seen in a lot of Korean dramas lately. Although some of the outcome can be predictable, much of the early storyline development will keep you on the edge of your seat, and after every episode, I wanted more(I actually didn't sleep for 2 nights because I couldn't end at some parts, hah). The cast is overall amazing, each playing their roles spectacularly. I also felt that the music fit into the drama very well, making me cry whenever there was a sad scene and keeping my eyes wide awake during the intense shootouts. I rated the rewatch at 8 just because I'm not a fan of rewatching dramas but this would be something I could watch again on a rainy day.

It's a mysterious lovely funny unusual comedy in the form of one-day date) And the main lead doesn't know what will happen next second. I liked it for this kind of mix. It captured my attention since the first scenes in the art gallery. (By the way, Korean art is very amazing and thoughtful.) And suddenly this voice coming from nowhere)) Some nice funny scenes. Good to watch)

An amazing story, a real tear-jerker. If your gonna watch this make sure u have tissues and lots of them. This is a wonderful insight into the possibly of love beyond brother and sister. Being her protection even after he was gone. This had me in tears nearly, I defently recommend watching this. The directors gave it a whole new perspective in which you wouldn't imagine could happen.

A Better Tomorrow does have action but I can't say that it is the real draw. Mostly this is due to the action not being shown till the very end. The real story here is the relationship between the main characters. JJM, SSH, and KKW really got to show thier acting chops which surprised me because I thought this was just another action/ crime movie. At times I felt like I was watching a melodrama lol. Really though I love the characters and acting, the story/plot was just average which the long runtime didnt help. The ending was fitting for this type of movie so be prepared. Overall the actors are what carry this movie which makes it a good enough watch. I cant say if id watch it again or not just because the story wasnt bad but it wasnt amazing either. Worth watching once though.

I just love this show. Truthfully, I started watching it because of Park Shi Hoo)I waited his appearing so much till the episode three)
But through the whole drama I was attracted by the storylines of other leads. I was really impressed by the acting level of all actors (especially four main leads). There are many thoughtful and wise scenes, there are funny scenes too.
To my mind, It's a story about a mature strong woman who wants to fulfil all her dreams concerning her work, but especially love life. All in all, it's about people who are lost but trying to find themselves, their place in life, work, love.
Try watching it, you'll never regret it if you're searching for some kind of a true touching lovelife story.

I began watching this drama for two reasons; I read on a blog that this was actually written quite well and I had just watched Prosecutor Princess and wanted to see more of Park Shi Hoo. At the time it was the first drama I attempted with episodes over 16 to 24. I wasn't disappointed in the least!

Queen of Reversals is one of the best melodramas I've watched. It tells the mature story of a marriage between two people who are struggling to make it work or having to decide to let go. The cast of actors all do a wonderful job. Kim Nam Joo and Park Shi Hoo are stand outs. Kim Nam Joo is wonderful as Hwang Tae Hee. The evolution of her character is a lot fun to watch. Park Shi Hoo is such a scene stealer. He has a great quality and screen presence.

The supporting cast was also well chosen. This was a melodrama but I loved that there were no birth secrets, no one had a deadly disease, no one loved someone they thought might be their sister. It was actually a pretty nice and refreshing change to watch something more real. The plot unfolded very nicely for 31 episodes and there were some real surprises along the way. This also has the funniest bromance between Goo Yong Shik and his secretary...Hilarious.

I ended up loving this show and giving it a 9. A few months later I stand by that rating. If you are looking for a great story about a woman really finding her strength you'll love Queen of Reversals.

I really loved this drama, because of the different storyline, and I namely like the frank and funny sex talk, the realistic and messy relationships, the offbeat best friends with crazy love lives and boyfriend revenge plots.

All in all, it was a more realistic story, than the korean dramas, i've used to see :) But it is a MUST SEE -!
