02-19-2018, I just watched this last night on Netflix. What a Great Movie! I hope there are more like this, I want to watch them with english subtitles! The actors were so great in their element. We need to spread shows like these to have our children read more! No it is not speed reading either, easy to follow! It is so hard to find great movies like this! Super for young and old alike. I wish this would post at a lot more sites! The Producer knew what he was doing with this one! If there were links available I think a lot more people would spread the views! My rating is well over a 10 +.

The story is great. Thrilling, enticing, very well constructed. If you like gambling themes, It'is a must watch. I don't know anything about mahajong, but the story is very enjoyable still. I had tryed the anime, but the pace of the drama is way better. It begins in the clímax of the story. You don't get the same charcter building as the anime, but I preferred it. Even though I know more about the akagi of the anime, the series akagi is very well done. What is a bother is that every episode they do a huge recapitulation of the events. If I didn't understand what is the washizu mahajong by the middle of the series I will never understand it. No more summarizing!

The cast is great. Specially the old man Washizu! No complains!

The ending music is very catchy. Music was great as well.

I wouldn't watch it again, but I never rewatch dramas anyways.

I started this drama because it was short and ofcourse because I'm a fan of EXO. It is a kind of a slow-paced drama with a light story. Still, I had a strange feeling that made me hang on till the end. It had a kind of gloomy feel with warm setting. I actually liked the cinematography...
I don't think I'd recommend this drama to anyone as my favourites, but if you want a fine drama to watch within a short period of time this one is good. I'm not sure about the ending tho. It seemed quite off for me, and there was little chemistry between the leads. Nevertheless, it focused much on families which made me learn a lot.

I came into Love Sick The Series after watching Two Moons The Series and Make it Right The Series Season 1. I watched Two Moons first (my first foray into Thai BL TV), loved it and moved on to MIR, which was cute but definitely a lot more raunchy than I expected. I tried watching MIR Season 2 after that but felt it was so bad, I had to quit watching it after episode 3. So, thirsting for a good BL drama, I started on Love Sick The Series after reading comments of comparisons between Tee from MIR and Phun from Love Sick. Out of all the three, Love Sick Season 1 (I haven't seen Season 2) is the best.

Despite the totally fanfic-cy premise of how the two leads got together (hell yeah fake boyfriends, the best fan fiction trope amirite??) and the short time in which the two characters fell in love, the growth of their relationship felt sweet and natural. They go through rough patches, angst and have internal struggles all the time. They want each other but can't leave behind their fears of what society will think of them, which is constantly pushed into their faces by their friends and girlfriends. Seemingly, the only person who has their backs is Pang, Phun's younger sister, who is a fujoshi (a generally-negative Japanese term for a BL fangirl who fetishizes BL) and will never understand the struggles gays have to go through if they want to be together. I don't know if the pay-off for sitting through several episodes of angst is worth it yet since I haven't seen season 2. The cute scenes between the two mains we get in between the angst... instead of calming my stormy heart, they just make me sadder because it's like the show yelling at us, "THIS IS WHAT THEY COULD BE BUT THEY'RE FORBIDDEN SO WE'RE TAKING IT AWAY FROM YOU."

So fair warning, this show has a *lot* of angst. I felt a lot of grief while watching this, as compared to 2 Moons where the two leads are always so cute, loving and they didn't care what anyone else though of them. Besides, everyone around them was so supportive. So if you want a feel-good, happy BL drama to watch - go for 2 Moons, but *don't* go for Love Sick.

I rated the acting pretty low, but I really like the charm of this "poor" acting. It's bad and stiff acting, but at the same time adds to the characterisation of the characters? Like, the characters in the story are kids going through puberty, the whole stiffness and unnaturalness when they're behaving or saying things in certain ways feels realistic. I wouldn't let the acting keep me from watching this drama!

One thing I'd really like to praise about this drama is the absolute golden dialogue. The joking around, the teasing, the jibes between friends and two main leads are all so natural and realistic, lines that are familiar, as if I have said them to my own friends too. The writers really know how teenagers interact with one another, and that's something very difficult to get right, especially when you're not their age. Also!! There are some very, very sweet lines that I would like to keep in my heart forever. <3 Those lines made me want to learn Thai just so I can understand them in their original language. :')

Overall, I love this drama and highly recommend it. I can't wait for the countless of sleepless nights and unproductive work days spent thinking about Love Sick The Series all the damn time as I start on Season 2. :)

Acting : Pretty good, I did not notice any fails. All the characters were good, stuborn and fresh.

Story : The story line is pretty basic. No new side. Competition between 2 guys, on sport and with the woman they like. Sometimes it's kinda boring but it was not. Everything was softly realised so I couldn't get boring of a characters. We can NOTICE other stories in addition of competition, I mean other relationships/ Link such as :

- The guys
-the guys with their parents (father for one and grandpa for another)
-The guys with the girl they like
-The girls
-The girls with the guy they like

Lets talk about the concept : Yuri on ice , sport, olympic games
The timing was perfect for the drama, we all are on it. With a  little touch of fun, very fresh and warm

Lets talk about Camera.
They way that they film the guys racing on ice was so interesting. I was on my bed while watching it, but I feel like flying, I feel so light. I was totally  IMMERSED.

The drama was maybe short, but it was perfect like that, too many eps would waste the drama, make it boring and deja vu.

Even the story was not that original, it was very interesting and fun to watch it ~

The male actor is hot! Has gr8 screen presence...
This is one of those dramas were everything that thai lakorns are about - slap kiss/ violence/ kidnapping is there...but the heroiene is equally badass and returns a bite for a bite...
There is force but not force rape scenes despite thm getting intimate...so that was somethin diff!
Except for the last epi which felt like how did this happen and the first epi where u want to kill the bitcy villian...this lakorn is really nice to watch. The chemistry between the leads is good and I am so go na watch more of this guys shows????

This series was short and sweet but it really wasn't up my alley. It was a good story but I felt that it was just missing something, it might have been cause it was too short. It was a interesting concept and it was pretty funny to watch but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought that I would have.
It's not something that I would rewatch again. I think that it would have been better if they went more in depth of the characters. Also I didn't really remember the music that they had used either.

So I stumbled upon this on netflix after watching a few really good crime shows and still wanted a fix. So I started watching this one.  So the acting wasn't all that great but I liked that they weren't afraid to be bad they just went with it. The cases were pretty predictable and the fight scenes were pretty bad to the point that this series was just entertaining to watch. I don't think that I would be watching this again but it was pretty hilarious to be watching the first time around. Some of the cases were interesting to watch and they did want to play the psychological crime drama and they got some of it right. It was fun to watch.

Silly plotting and sophomoric directing are somewhat compensated for by some great performances. It has some plot twists that are so badly done they're almost funny (in one or two I literally laughed out loud), but the leads never fail to give themselves to their parts 110%. It's almost worth watching just to see Yoon Gyun Sang give a lovely, understated performance with a great deal of gravitas.

The plot becomes increasingly ridiculous to the point of makjang.. The directing, in particular the blocking, was noticeably bad on more than one occasion.

For those looking for romance, this is not your drama. Having said that, there was something compelling about the Adventures of Scrappy and the Giant that I tuned in for each week. No matter how silly it got, the actors really sold it and that carried me through to the end. I won't be rewatching it though

This wasn't the typical Asian criminal/police drama that you see. This was closer to the western style where it was about the each individual case rather than having an overarching storyline. The main character played Dr. Qin very well and the supporting characters were pretty great at supporting Dr.Qin. I felt that it was a perfect personality combined with the 3 of them.  I don't really remember the music from the story but I would definitely rewatch this series over and over again. I would really wish that they would be making a second season of this show. I was also surprised that there wasn't really a romantic side to things here which was a breath of fresh air for me.

All these years have passed I still come back to rewatching this drama over and over again. I just love it, it's still very mesmerizing to watch even though I know what will happen and can practically remember the lines.  The story, the music and the cast were all A+ in my books and I would recommend this to everyone. The main characters just had so much charisma and chemistry with each other that made this series that much better to be watching. You would be laughing with them or crying with them as you watch how their lives turn out. It really is a top notch series.

I started watching this cause I loved Sun Li's performance in her other historical dramas and thought that this would be just as good if she was the main cast. And I wasn't wrong about it. I loved watching the full life of Miyue, the series was split into a few main parts of her life. From being a child to getting married to the end of her life where she becomes the Dowager Queen. Her life was so fascinating to watch, there were a lot of parts where I felt that a lot of people in the same position as her she would have given up but she just pushed on ahead. I really enjoyed the entire journey of her life. However, it is really long though so make sure that you have enough time to watch all of it. And also I loved all the guys that came out through her life. They each had their very own good parts.

This story revolved around the main Qing hu foxes. Each of the main characters had their own storyline and their own few episodes. It was interesting to see how each of their lives played out but after a few episodes I felt that the entire drama was a bit of a waste of time. The stories weren't very engaging or even interesting I felt like that the writers sort of just gave up writing a good story and started repeating things a little.
I wouldn't really want to watch the full series but I stuck it out. I feel like you only really need to watch the first few episodes and the last few episodes and just skip the middle part entirely!

I was really thinking this drama would be boring. Fyi, I just finished watched Descendant of the Sun when I started to watch it. It was like (cultural term: culture shock) a shock when I watched this japanese drama. Also, I was really thinking the plot would not be a complicated just like korean drama. Yet, I kept watching. My motivation to watch it was because the female protagonist (I just knew her name is Kawaguchi Haruna when I wrote this review) is so cute, so-my-type, and... I love both japanese and korean drama which has cute and so-my-type female main character. Until half of whole episodes, I was still thinking the ending could be predicted. But! Yea, I can't write a spoiler here.
Story: Interesting, you would like to see the ending as soon as you want +5
Plot twists: +2
Cute protagonist: +0.5
Rewatch it to understand who is who, why 'it' happens, and to answer so many questions in your head +1
It doesn't have humor (It's not like korean drama which can always make me laugh): -1
Music, soon after I heard it, I like it! +1
Total: 8.5

I absolutely loved this series!! Wallace Huo was amazing in this. I've always loved his performances and he didn't disapoint me this time. The storyline for this series was well written and the casts made stunning performances to bring everything to life. The plot was edgy and intriguing. There was a lot of suspense in each episode with each case. It wasn't predictable at all and I was usually surprised. I also loved the supporting characters as well they were funny but they also had really good roles to play and I felt that the romance of the main characters didn't overtake the main plot or the cases that they were on.
