2 Moons The Series is a lighthearted, cute and fresh BL that will get you addicted to its characters very easily.
The story is good, the whole basis is stable and the way it develops is also decently done. I love the characters (and love them even more now, after season 2) and all but the actors weren't really my thing. I mean, I liked most of the cast, they did a good job and their hard work payed of due to the popularity of the series. However, as I'm editing this (after watching season 2 with cast change), I can say that most of the love I nurtured was for the characters themselves and not for the acting the cast presented. Lots of people were upset that the cast would be different for second season but I really love second season's cast and I can't help but wonder what it would have been like to have this whole season with that cast instead of the short 4 re-tell episodes.
But enough of comparisons. Overall I really enjoyed this one, the music is also good.

It has its flaws, it obviously does. There are parts where everything seems out of place and it seems like the story is going nowhere. But if I were to speak about all the flaws it would ruin my idea of these series so I prefer to rate it and not go into much detail (my score does take into account the flaws though, of course).
At the time that I first watched this one I remember loving it. 2moons was all I wanted during the time I was watching it. But after finishing I couldn't really recall why I liked it so much. Still can't quite pinpoint why but I'm glad I enjoyed this cause season 2 is wonderful. My big issue with 2Moons is the main couple, Phayo, which I can't help but feel like they don't really fit as a main couple and are somewhat boring. This issue isn't only with this season though, the couple's story isn't one that pulls me in. The good thing is that the side couples do make it worth it, MingKit and ForthBeam are wonderful.

If you are looking for a soft, lightly funny bl, you might enjoy this one (I highly recommend watching cause season two is a whole 8/10). If you do not wanna go through the cast change then you can just watch 2Moons2 since they did a pretty good job at summing up this whole season is only 4 episodes.

One of my favorite dramas to watch (I've seen it at least 3-4 times now), even though it might not be the BEST drama ever made (Nirvana in Fire, rightly earns a place as best drama ever),

STORY:
The story honestly is fairly simple. There's no crazy twists and turns. Not a ton of plotting and backstabbing, etc. It really just is a very simple and beautiful telling of two people falling in love and growing together.
The super fun twists that I think most people enjoyed were the great transitions between real life and the gaming world. Definitely something refreshingly new that gave you the best of a modern drama with sprinklings of wu xia.
I really appreciated that even though there were other people who had feelings for the main leads, you never really got the feeling that something could come in the way of the two leads. They just had a pure relationship that was based on similar interests and general good chemistry - not because they were forced together by circumstances or one of them was love lost and then they found each other.
They both honestly enjoyed each other's company and felt very natural with one another. It's really not something you get all the time.
Very well paced out and never felt rushed or lagging at any part.

ACTING:
Yang Yang - Xiao Nai - Wow. What a great performance. Yes, his name was already ringing in circles after Dream of Red Mansions, Lost Tomb, etc. But I would definitely say this drama catapulted him into stardom. Xiao Kai had the tropes of a standard male lead - well off, smart, super popular, beautiful, somewhat introverted - but Yang Yang definitely did a fabulous job making Xiao Nai break past the standard topes and bring about those cute swooning moments that girls (who were really the target audience) love to see in dramas. Every interaction was playful but serious. The kiss scenes and other romance scenes were really mostly due to him.
Zheng Shuang - Bei Wei Wei - While she did a decent job in her role - very smart and hardworking, but still shy and cutesy at times - she was definitely overshadowed by Yang Yang in this drama. Most dramas I watch, I almost always feel like the female lead overshadows the male leads (especially when the story is more revolved around the girl), but Yang Yang was definitely the one driving this performance. The romance scenes, Zheng Shuang was like a wooden board at times (which many other people have critiqued). Being new to a relationship is understandable, but even further into their relationship, it was Yang Yang doing 75% of the work. She's been a very popular actress lately, but I honestly don't really think she's all that great. She does cutesy very well, but I don't feel like she's broken past that yet.
Xiao Nai's Friends - Great chemistry between them all. I think they all did a great job with their respective characters. Hou Zi was the flattest character of the three, for me, but wasn't bad by any standard. Yu Ban Shan and Hao Mei did great jobs showing off their characters' personalities and the loyalty they had to Xiao Nai and each other.
Wei Wei's Friends - Only Mao Xiao Tong (Zhao Er Xi) really had enough screen time to be a developed character, so she gets props for portraying Er Xi's happy go lucky character so well. The other two were good in terms of being the friends, but definitely didn't get a chance to show off much of their acting skills.

REWATCH VALUE:
I've already rewatched it a bunch of times, so obviously worth a rewatch. Even though you know the whole story, it's still cute and romantic enough to be a good rebound after a super lengthy period drama or a very serious and dramatic show. It doesn't really get boring for me because even though it's not something you have to pay a ton of attention to to understand, it's not really a brainless show that you just play in the background either.

STORY:
Even though you're splitting the time between all five girls (obviously some have more screen time than others), it still feels fairly well balanced and spaced out. The stories intermingled with each other fairly well  but with so many leads, you definitely find yourself rooting for some more than others (or hoping for more screen time for a certain storyline).
The drama was highly rated, and I don't disagree. I normally watch more ancient dramas than modern ones, but this one had a good realistic feeling to it, compared to others I've seen. Everything that went on seemed like things that people could relate to more readily (family problems, being an older lady but still single, being a young entrepreneur, being an entry level worker dealing with relationships, or being new to the workforce and finding your footing in life). Many times, dramas have to overly exaggerate what happens to get people to feel intrigued, but I think Ode To Joy kept it realistic enough but still intriguing.
Plot never felt super lagging at any point. (It took me a while to get into it at the beginning, but a lot of shows are that way). Overall good with story lines.

ACTING:
-Olivia Wang: Had to mention her first because hands down loved the story with Qu Xiao Xiao and Zhao Qi Ping the best. I already loved Wang Kai coming into this drama, so I knew I'd like him, but Olivia Wang was a good surprise (I'd already seen When a Snail Falls in Love at this point, so knew they had good chemistry). At the beginning of the story, I didn't really like QXX. Her character was super snobby and standard scheming rich girl, but later on (and after she and ZQP get together) she soon became my favorite. Once her character developed more, you saw her become someone who had good intentions, even though sometimes she went about it the wrong way. I will argue though that a lot of times, she got blamed for something (which yes she instigated), but the real problem was with the person she schemed against.
-Yang Zi: Qiu Ying Ying - ABSOLUTE WORST  for me. I actually skipped through most of her scenes while watching. I'm not attributing it to the actress because she was following the script, but my god her character was annoying. I get it, each girl was supposed to have a different personality, so obviously one had to be the naive and bullheaded one. She honestly just annoyed me so much how she went about everything - blaming others for things that weren't really their fault (Yes I'm a little biased because I liked Qu Xiao Xiao). Again being bullheaded and impulsive are common traits that a lot of people had, but something about how her character went about it made me not feel sorry for her when bad things happened because she deserved it in some way (not everything, but most things).
-Liu Tao: Always a great actress. If anything I was hoping her character would open up more and develop quicker, but her character was the oldest of the bunch and fairly set in her ways.
-Jiang Xin: another great actress. Very good at showing off the sides of her character - the nonchalant one who goes to parties and dates, the lonely one who just wanted to find love, the struggling one dealing with her family issues, etc. I'd say of all of the characters, hers was the most rounded for me. You saw a lot of different sides to her, whereas some of the other characters (while not one dimensional) felt like certain parts of their character overtook the rest. Jiang Xin's character really felt the most balanced of all (showing all of her sides, I mean).
-Qiao Xin: Guan Ju Er - a very new actress, which kind of showed at times. She really didn't have a lot to do in the first season. Most of her focus was on being overworked as an intern with the small sprinklings of her one sided love. She had most of her progression in the second season where she really finds what she likes as a person and obviously finds love eventually.
Additional Characters:
Wang Kai is always great for me. This was a new side of him that I hadn't seen yet. The playful and flirtation doctor, but still had a very strong moral upbringing.
The other males didn't really shine for me. They were all fairly one dimensional for the most part, just filling the space for what the girls were lacking.

REWATCH VALUE:
I'd definitely rewatch again in a few months or so (I just watched it through a few months ago). I'd honestly probably just skip around a lot and watch the stories that I actually enjoyed. (Aka, i'd honestly probably skip all of Qiu Ying Ying's stories again). A very good drama, but I definitely wouldn't rewatch the show in entirety.

This was 2018 rewatch -- reminded of it after trying to watch the Seven Faced Man -- and comparing the story.   I could not get Ji Sung's incredible acting and the impact it made on me emotionally when I viewed it the first time in 2015.  Watching week by week you sometimes forget the incredible scenes and storyline.  However, marathoning this drama just reminded me of why I believe this will be my all-time top K drama.    Acting - children and adults -- over the top good;   Editing -- perfect;  Music -- exceptional -- I don't buy music at my age but I downloaded the song Hallucinations to play when I'm walking.   It is one of my all-time favorites.  The best part of this drama is the creativity of the story -- not a dull moment -- a full story from beginning to end.   A story with mixed emotions - you laugh out loud -- a lot,  and you cry buckets of tears along the way.     There were so many life's lessons shared in this drama that you almost need a notepad to keep track.  I am still trying to watch Seven Faced Man -- but like most remakes of outstanding dramas they will continually be compared and the bar was set to high with Ji Sung, Hwang Jung-Eum and Park Seo-Joon casts as lead actors.  A good rewatch for the New Year's weekend.

UPDATE: Finished a rewatch on 1/14/18. Feelings about the show overall are better, though still not the best I hoped it would be.

STORY: After rewatching, I definitely still think that the overall screenplay was lacking in a lot of places. The web novel itself definitely has a lot going on (haven't read it), but I feel like the producers didn't translate everything well on TV. There was so much going on and I was only able to understand everything better because I had already watched it through once. Overall, watching it as a whole show didn't give me as much of a dragging feeling that it gave me when I watched it while it aired - so that's definitely a bonus.

ACTING: Again, I always love Zhao Li Ying (but maybe it was from reading a few stories about her not being happy with how things progressed in the show), I felt like I really preferred her when she was still a slave. I feel like her character had much more personality and expression. Yes, the story gets much more serious in the second half, and Chu Qiao is going through a lot, but a lot of her scenes I feel seemed much more emotionless and just plain. And I LOVE ZLY and know she's a great actress, but that was one show that I feel like she didn't give it her all towards the end (again maybe it was a character progression).

Lin Geng Xin - Watching it this time through, I feel like even though YWY was cold on the exterior, I feel like LGX could have done a bit more to show emotions when the times called for it. Towards the end of the show, YWY got more sassy which I'm totally fine with, but his "romantic" scenes with CQ still felt like something was missing for me.

OVERALL: My impression of it was better than it was by the end of the first watch. Overall I still think that there were a lot of places that could be better (mostly storyline and a bit more emotion in acting) Its definitely a show I wouldn't mind watching again at a future date, but I will admit that even though there were some major aspects I didn't like, I'm PRAYING PRAYING PRAYING that they make the second season (With Zhao Li Ying of course) because I've read a few novel synopses and I need to know what happens in the rest of the story T_T.

****************

**I watched PA as it was airing over the course of a month or so, so I definitely don't remember EVERYTHING that happened, but just what I remember feeling at the end of it**

STORY:
I began watching about two weeks into the show airing, so the first 10 or so episodes I got to binge and watch all at once (my preference is to binge watch cause I don't forget what happened earlier in the show cause I would have just watched recently).
-The beginning of the story - great, fabulous, and captivating. I loved watching her learn how to be a skilled assassin (from YWY at least) and the slow relationship building between them and everyone else in her life. The bad guys were (sometimes) obnoxiously bad, but apparently that's really how things were in those times.
-By the middle of the drama (before everything with Yan Xun's family), things were still looking good. Chu Qiao/Xing Er was better trained and now actually using the skills she had learned.
-After everything that happens with Yan Xun's family (using that as the turning point), everything seemed to go downhill story wise. Suddenly everything was starting to combust and it was ridiculously hard to keep track of what was going on. (I'm honestly still not 100% sure what happened with Chu Qiao and the events before the story began (the past she forgot)). I kept watching daily to keep up with the show, but (and I'll attribute part of it to me not being able to binge it all at once) it really felt completely disorganized and it seemed to lose focus by the end of the show.
-By the middle-end half of the show, I had completely forgotten that Chu Qiao was originally Yu Wen Yue's slave and whatnot because there was just so much going on that I had forgotten the foundation of the story.

ACTING:
**I honestly don't think any of the actors were bad, but the characters lost points for me due to bad script**
-Zhao Li Ying is my favorite actress (at the moment, but at least for the next few years). Her acting is honestly always great to me. She is great at the cutesy innocent girl with a naive heart (Boss & Me). She was amazing as a hardworking and smart - though super stubborn - female (Legend of Lu Zhen). And she was great as a witty, cunning, and calculative double agent (Rookie Agent Rouge). She still excelled here for me as a trained assassin and super loyal companion in Chu Qiao Zhuan.
-Lin Geng Xin - I've only seen him in BBJX, but my friend (who I was watching the drama with) had high hopes for him, so I obviously did too. He did a decent job as Yu Wen Yue. Fairly standard "intelligent but cold" male lead. However, (and yes this is mostly due to script issues), he essentially became a background character by the second half. When he actually had screen time, it wasn't super captivating and memorable, so his character really felt lifeless to me by the second half.
-Shawn Dou - absolutely loved him in the first half as the loyal but carefree Prince, by the end he was just another character who kept abusing Chu Qiao's loyalty to him (which obviously makes me dislike him xD). Acting wise, again he did the best with what the script gave him.
**Special Shout Outs**
-Deng Lun !! - my friend was raving about him before he even made an appearance and I wasn't really sure why (hadn't seen him in anything else yet). His character was honestly great. Super awesome comedic timing and really memorable as Xiao Ce. (Loved him so much from this that I watched Because of Meeting You specifically for him).
-Niu Jun Feng (Prince Song) - Adorable in Love O2O and adorable in this too. He was great as the side character who had feelings for the main lead (but never really had a shot lol). In the later half of the series, he did a great job with the serious story lines he had to deal with.

REWATCH VALUE:
Now that the whole series is aired (and subbed) I'll honestly probably go back to rewatch it once just to a) be able to see the whole drama in entirety and maybe be able to keep up with the plot better and b) go back and see if maybe understanding the plot better will give me a better outlook on the drama and c) to listen to the soundtrack over and over (it's already downloaded onto my phone) and sing along.

I might update this once I've rewatched to see if anything changes.

This review may contain spoilers
PRECURSOR: I was able to finally watch this because there were english subs available on youtube (actual subs, not just straight translations of the Chinese subtitles); However, halfway through (around episode 45) the subtitles ran out, so the second half of the drama I watched just with Chinese subtitles. I understood enough to get the major points of the story down, but definitely missed out on most of the politics talk/etc. (Still feel confident that I understood the majority of what was happening plot wise at least).

If you watched Legend of Zhen Huan (which I'm sure most people who watched this saw that one first), you're definitely gonna feel like this is just another version of that. Same lead actress, same director and production crew. Similar story (following the life of a young girl who becomes a powerful Empress Dowager). I will definitely say that while the similarities are clear, the storyline itself felt very different in many aspects. So don't just skip this because it feels super similar to Zhen Huan!

**Definitely going to have a lot of comparisons to Zhen Huan (since that one was the more popular of the two).**

STORY:
-This story really ranges through the ENTIRE life of Mi Yue. It begins before she is even born and shows the precursor to why people treat her a certain way later on in life. It goes through her years as a young princess in Chu and continues on through the power struggle when she becomes Empress Dowager and even through her regency and later life. That was one thing that I probably would have enjoyed seeing with Zhen Huan (but the actual sequel deals with the later half of her life when the Qianlong Emperor is (well) emperor).
-Because it covered the whole 100 or so years of her life (she lived from 338BC - 265BC - damn). There were definitely certain parts that felt a little lagging, but it was still well paced enough that I wouldn't feel the need to skip chunks of the story (As many people - at least I did during a rewatch - will skip the nun story line of Zhen Huan).
-Whether or not it was fictional or actually closer to history, I really wasn't a fan of the person she became after she becomes regent. It wasn't even the power that annoyed me, but how she dealt with the conflicts with Qin and Yi Qu. (Not going to say more because it'd be a spoiler - unless you know Chinese history). It felt like the character was backtracking in personality because she had become so strong in later life.
-I think there was a good balance between showing us her relationships with everyone to the inner harem fighting to actual political fighting. (Zhen Huan was majority inner harem fighting and that can get tiring).
-Overall it did a good job showing us her life (again not sure how historically accurate it was, but it's TV) and felt like a very good portrayal.

ACTING/CASTING:
-Sun Li really is the ultimate empress. I've only seen her in these two dramas, but the characters definitely had their differences and they didn't feel like the same person - so props to her. She's a beauty who isn't afraid to be ugly which really pushes actors to a new level because their expressions and emotions feel real. When she cries, it's not the delicate tears falling from her eyes that many other actors will do, but its full on sobs and snot and greatness.
-Liu Tao - I definitely think it was probably partially her and partially the director that wanted her character to act that way, but honestly I kind of got annoyed at times with her character. She's a fabulous actress with a good track record, so it doesn't diminish her abilities, but there were times when she would be in anguish over her child or something and the way that she would cry out for her husband and just really irritated me. Overall I still think she did a great job showing the life of Mi Shu as well. (As you again see her from childhood until essentially the end of her life).
-Everyone else - no one else specifically stood out to me as beyond excellent, but everyone else did a fair job as well. No one majorly bothered me in any way.

REWATCH VALUE:
-Honestly not sure if I'd rewatch. The length doesn't scare me so much (I made it through all of Fan Bing Bing's 90 some odd episodes of Wu Ze Tian) and I actually enjoy the epic lengths sometimes. But something about the show didn't have that same captivating feeling that Zhen Huan (sorry for the endless comparisons) had. It was definitely a good drama, but there's nothing pulling me back to watch it again and again. The schemes and what not against her were intriguing the first time through, but it wasn't intricate enough to warrant a rewatch (think Nirvana in Fire scheming - that's the stuff you want to watch again and again). The relationships were good but nothing making me yearn to see them again. Overall good, but not good enough to be mind-blowingly great.

STORY: I'm honestly not sure if drama was originally it's own story or if it was based off something else (a book/etc. Not specifically ISWAK), but I don't think anyone can disagree that there are some major similarities between this story and ISWAK.

**Similarities to ISWAK**
- Male Lead: Super smart (Always first in school), very attractive and popular, relatively cold personality. - Even the same surname as the TW version of ISWAK (Jiang ?) and even aesthetically he was super tall (actually the same height as Joe Cheng from ISWAK).
-Female Lead: Not very smart, but very positive personality. Bright and hardworking (when she wants to be). Places very high value on friendship and family. Somewhat obsessively in love with the male lead for the brunt of the drama.
-Many plot similarities (especially when they are in high school), but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone

If it WAS meant to be ISWAK but with a twist, I'm honestly all for it. One of the things that I really enjoyed (in comparison to ISWAK) is how strong of a person the female lead becomes. Even with all of the negatives that occur, Xiao Xi still works hard and achieves what she wants (with sprinkling of help from Jiang Chen occasionally). She isn't just a weak female character who does everything for the guy she likes the entire show.

Really enjoy the change of how the drama feels throughout their life. Begins as very innocent and somewhat seemingly one-sided love and eventually feels like a real relationship as they get older with real life problems and arguments.

Downside to the story:
-I enjoyed the time they spent showing their lives in high school, but when they graduate from high school and move on, it feels a little rushed to me. Half the drama is spent when they are in high school and the other half is the rest of their college/adult years all crammed together. I understand why since high school was the foundation of their relationship, but it was like 50% foundation 50% everything else (being together, dealing with relationship issues, etc. etc)

ACTING:
I think the two leads did a great job for how young they are (Presently 24 for Hu Yi Ran and 20 for Shen Yue). They had cute chemistry and seemed to really enjoy working together. Both did a great job showing how their characters progressed and changed from high school times to adult hood (you could really feel the changes in personality as they grew up).

Never felt very annoyed with any of the characters (aside from the class leader's friend in high school) which is definitely a contribution of acting and producers. Everyone felt relatively multi-dimensional. All of the main characters had moments to show off different sides of their personalities which was really good.

REWATCH VALUE:
I'd definitely throw it in as a rewatch whenever I was in a lull and didn't have a good new show to watch. The story feels really familiar (to ISWAK especially) so it gives it a good nostalgia feel, but the second half of the drama has enough differences (mostly good ones) that gives it a fresh feeling and (imo) even better than ISWAK at certain points.

i really wasn't interested in cdramas because i only tend to watch kdramas BUT THIS CDRAMA GOT ME WHOOPED. i first saw this while scrolling through my facebook timeline and this caught my attention. yes it's the cliche cheerful girl and cold/smart guy, but this exceeded my expectations. i liked a love so beautiful the most. like omg they look so cute together. you can see how good their characters progress, to become mature, but they can still remain cute. it gives me that fresh highschool vibes which i love so much. now this is my favorite drama ever, idk it's just the best for me.

moving on to the acting, i've watched several bts videos of alsb, and they are so cute behind the camera omg. bts, yitian(jiangchen) is actually a very playful guy and omg he is the cutest. i just want to shove him in my pocket and carry him everywhere. he did a good job acting as his first lead drama. according to shen yue herself, she is a quiet girl, she also did a very great job portraying xiaoxi (she became more and more xiaoxi in real life as she films cute) their chemistry is superb. the supporting roles, omg they are just the best supporting roles. i can feel everything idk.

THE MUSIC OMG. I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO THE OPENING SONG FOR A THOUSAND TIMES. i'm so inlove with the opening song. the melody of the song matches the drama well, and the lyrics OMG IT IS THE CUTEST EVER AAAHHHH. if you want to read the lyrics, here's a link for a translation https://azurro4cielo.wordpress.com/2017/11/17/ost-lyric-do-you-know-how-i-love-you-%E6%88%91%E5%A4%9A%E5%96%9C%E6%AC%A2%E4%BD%A0%EF%BC%8C%E4%BD%A0%E4%BC%9A%E7%9F%A5%E9%81%93/ . it's xiaoxi's perspective for jiangchen, how she likes her, something like that. there's also this version of the ost which yitian was the one singing, and now it was sung from jiangchen's perspective omg can they please be real. if you  also want to watch it, here's a link of his performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U04ketFxNaY (his dancing is so cute btw) the ending song, CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR YITIAN'S VOICE IT'S SO HEAVENLY I'M CRYING

will i rewatch? YES. I'VE WATCHED 3 TIMES ALREADY. I CAN'T MOVE ON FROM THEM. THIS IS THE BEST DRAMA. THIS IS A MUST WATCH.

anyways, thank you for reading my crappy review. i love you all and enjoy the series

I have decided to watch this movie, because of the name - It was very clear and since I was looking for something from the BL genre, this seemed like a great idea. Long story short, it wasn't.
The movie's runtime is 1 hour and 30 minutes. It took me 5 days to finally finish it. At first, after reading all the negative opinions about this movie, I thought to myself that it's not that bad. But as it continued, it only got worse and worse. Maybe it was just because I couldn't watch it all at once, or the plot really wasn't that good and it was just CONFUSING.

What I liked:
- Actors. They were pretty handsome, Mamiya and Noeru. But I guess it was only their looks..
- The quotes. Probably the only thing I was looking forward to through the entire movie.
- It made me laugh. They called Noeru a good artist, damn, making me seem like one of the top artists, too, then. Sorry not sorry. It was ridiculous.

What I disliked:
- "All gay men only care about sex and are very rapey." vibe it gave off
- That awful plot twistey ending it tried to be, but failed
- Very forced acting. When you see Mamiya laugh, you just cringe. It was THAT bad.
- Trying too hard to write a tragic story .... I mean, give the characters a break.
- The amount of times I've seen Noeru's butt. First time, good. More than once in a span of an hour? Bleh.
- Way too unrealistic in small details. If I wanted a plot like this, I'd rather pick up some manga or watch anime, but in movies, it's not enjoyable.

But hey, for each our own. :) Maybe even though I didn't enjoy this movie, you could! I think I just had very different expectations. :)

I loved this drama.
In the end, Black is about choices - the everyday ones that we take for granted.
I found that it made statements on the state of society; how people relate to one another, and how far ambition, self preservation as well as love can motivate.
All of the actors contributed to making it a wonderful watch; Crazy Dog is really a likeable character.
If I may make a comparison, the plot lines reminded me so much of the mystery novels by Elizabeth George.
Will definitely watch it again!

This is for you is you like when the show's pace is reaaaally slow. Like reaaaally slow. I mean the romance between the main characters. The story itself is really nice, light, and fun to watch. Just this damn slow pace in the romance... and then the ending which makes you go like what??? One of the most idiotic endings if you'd ask me. For me it was really disappointing after all this waiting. However, I'm all for watching season 2 :) so I guess it says for itself;) I hope this time they will give us a good amount of romance;)

Very good and very creepy.  Not very horrific as such.  But it was a good movie and the motivation of all those involved could be understood. As usual Takizawa Hideaki was excellent in the role of the 'mysterious man' - but the whole cast worked well.

The story was believable, but sadly I can't say much without spoiling it.  So all I will say is that given what is done to the children, the consequences are understandable.  I didn't find the 'Mysterious Man' a monster in the real sense as he was only doing what was wanted of him.

The acting was first rate - the entire cast gelled very well together and all were convincing in their roles.  However, for me at least, Takizawa Hideaki stood out as the main protagonist; an almost childlike figure lashing out at those he held responsible.  It showed children can be remarkable in coping with a horrific life and finding allies in the most unlikeliest of places.

The music added to the story and certainly the organ grinder style music was creepy.  The final few frames with the child at the door, organ grinder and the little doll were unsettling but also strangely satisfying.  I would love for there to be a sequel.

Even though I know the ending, I did watch it raw and, only having a few sentences of Japanese learnt, I would like to watch it again with subs and see if I was wrong in my assumption that the 'monster' wasn't really a monster, just a being existing for justice for those unable to seek it themselves.  I would watch it more than once, or even twice, that's for sure.

Overall, it wasn't too scary and certainly a nice film for a winter's evening with a mug of hot chocolate and some marshmallows.  A real campfire story really.  It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it and will give it 10/10.

UGH, this drama, I finished it in like 3 days and I kind of have a love-and-hate-relationship with it.
Its start very promising and the story is a bit creepy and gloomy, but very interesting. The second episode is where you think "Ok, WTF is going on?!"

I think it's a very good drama with a lot of twists and storylines only a psychopath could think of. It really messes with your head and sometimes I even lost track, because it was getting kind of like a labyrinth.
I liked the love story in the drama, it was sweet and a contrast to all the gloomy stuff.

Personally I didn't like the ending, so I probably wouldn't watch it again, that's why I gave only 5.0/10. I mean it's an ending I could be ok with but your heart hurts while it happens and you're left with being a little mess.

So, you can see that this drama really got me hooked and made me sad and cry.
This drama gets you really and you start thinking about many things, but as it made me so sad...ugh I dunno, it's good. watch it.

I personally really enjoy the entire U-Prince Series but this is the most anticipated one for me and it certainly lived up to my expectations
It is a really funny drama with funny characters. Mantou has parents that are really humorous and they adore her a lot as well. I must admit that Mantou's stupidity really frustrates me at certain part of the dramas but she is a really adorable and understanding girl. This drama is really worth watching and rewatching because it is really funny and the plot is fantastic as well.

Really expected a lot from this movie because the drama was really fantastic. However I got really disappointed as the story line was really confusing and it was really strange.  The characters in the movie was really strange if you really compare it to the drama . But the main points were there hence it was kinda worth watching but i would not rewatch it. For those who have yet to watch the drama, this movie will actually seem very nice and magical.
I watched this movie cause of the drama and the casts in this movie ( I love YangYang and LiuYiFei)
