This adaptation is well done. The 30 minute episodes are intriguing and lend to the urgency Satoru feels as he attempts to save his friends. The production value for this drama was set high. Perhaps it was because of the popularity of the manga, anime, and full length movie. This leads me to the wonderful cast. The adult leads and supports were very good, and the child actors equally so (perhaps better), especially Reo Uchikaawa (young Satoru). They also did a great job matching the actors. It wasn't a stretch to believe that kid grew to look like that adult. Side note: How good looking is Jin Shirasu? The photo on here does him 0 justice.
The music was good. It wasn't overpowering nor was it annoying. Music placement or lack thereof is something the Japanese excel at. I can't stand music videos in the middle of show. If you love them, then you will be disappointed. My rewatch disclaimer: I don't re-watch drama. It's rare. I would easily say yesto re-watching Boku Inai, which is why my rewatch value is high.
Fantastic drama. Period. Great writing. Great cast. High production value. Never boring. WATCH THE ANIME! ;)

ACTING:
The acting was done amazingly, they were great at showing emotion in their expression and words. Also the actors were really cute that they just made me go 'awe'.
MUSIC:
I didn't really pay any attention to the music as I was too deep in the story, but from what I did hear, it was good.
REWATCH:
I will definitely rewatch this and probably very soon!
OVERALL:
Overall the story and actors were amazing and I will absolutely rewatch it. If your interested in a male cross-dresser finding love, this is the movie for you!!

• S TO R Y: Original plot and has its own good-cliff hanging ending.
The story is about a girl who has a Philophobia—the fear of falling in love or emotional attachment. The risk is usually when a person has confronted any emotional turmoil relating to love but also can be chronic phobia—and got rejected several times with different situations. In her second year college, entering the Faculty of Psychology, they need to join a club in order to graduate in time. Padlom seems to dislike every club they have encountered and with the support of her partner-in-crime, Spoil, they formed a new club that listens to 90s music in respect to Padlom’s parents. Having the smallest count of members, they need to share their club’s room with the student-model, Alan, who made the non-human photo club with all-male members. The story will focus on how Padlom search for his secret admirer known as the “Lovesick Bear”.
• A C T I N G | A N D | C A S T: Everything is perfect starting from the cast itself, characteristics, different persona and how they portray each roles.
1. Punpun Sutatta as PADLOM —Punpun is very simple and you will see how natural she pulls every role. As Punpun portrays Padlom, there’s no changes but a paradigm shifting of the characteristic of the main role. The way of how she acts is very constant. Anything else beside from that, HANDS DOWN. No words for Punpun. PS: PUPUN SUAY, MARRY ME <3
2. Kang Vorakorn as POK —As we can see, Kang and Punpun became a loveteam before in U-Prince The Series: The Gentle Vet. Picking Kang as one of the male lead makes the viewers harder to guess if who the secret admirer of Padlom is. Kang pulled-off the role greatly that he is not obvious as one of the secret seven men. PS: You will put a high expectation from him as the story goes on!
3. Tay Tawan as ALAN —This is the first main role given for Tay and it is great that every nerd role suits him (pertaining to his past role of Dew in Lovey Dovey) but in here, he has this nerd + manly + hot combination that makes women around him swooning (lmao). They don’t have that much chemistry but for plot twists, he really suits for it.
4. Oab Nithi as GENT —After Oab’s fine and epic role as Puen in Project S The Series: SPIKE, all of us (who were watching and see his growth as an actor) were expecting a run-off of another portrayal... and there he is! He went through from an orphan of SPIKE to a rich-youngman here in Secret Seven. He is rich but you can see how he handle his life and not to the extent that he is gambling and always using his money for vices. They also have a good chemistry and there’s something between them when they both smile together. PS: He’s my chicken hahaha I root for him. I also remember Nana and Ai from I Hate You, I Love You.
5. Lee Thanat as PLAY —The flirt! He really pulled-off the role of Play because of his smile. I like the way how he manipulate girls hahaha throw an oscar for him. Great ending for his role and this is a real shift from Survey of U-Prince to Play of Secret Seven. PS: You’ll miss the nostalgic “Hon” hahaha.
6. Mek Jirakit as ID —I don’t know how will I react because I recently watched U-Prince The Series: The Foxy Pilot and Mek’s persona in that series is very far from this obnoxious personality of Id. He is a good plot twist character for this series because everybody are rooting for him including me since day but yeah, the only constant in this world is change lol. They have a good chemistry in such a way that I shouted in Episode 8 when I saw the wall art of Id using airspray with the portait of Padlom. PS: I’ll miss Big Tits and Tiny Dick :<
7. Gun Atthaphan as LIFTOIL —To be honest, I wasn’t expecting that Gun will portray a heterosexual role in this series. I thought that he will be the gay bestfriend of Padlom and will turn into a plot twist. I wasnkt expecting much from him but yeah, he was the clown and center of fun in this series. You’ll enjoy watching his goofy side and how he turn every depressing situation into romantic excitement.
8. Captain Chonlathorn as NEO —Another cute act from Captain. He is always the classic Kiryu of U-Prince, very hyper and childish. Sometimes, you’ll find him annoying because of some desperate actions but you’ll find Neo and Padlom as so-so too. The way he cries is freaking dramatic and contagious.
9. Ampere Suttatip as SPOIL —HANDSDOWN. SPEECHLESS. EXCELLENT SUPPORTING ROLE. PS: More works to come and excited to see you in Sotus S!
• M U S I C: 90s music + thai melodies + indie-aesthetic-vibes = LIFE
So many music to enjoy and hear from. Every music were used as the best as it is! Nothing to ask for more. PS: Who knows about the playlist of every song that came out? Help a friend-in-need :’(
• R E W A T C H | V A L U E: HIGH PRIORITY
This series has its own plot and each frame is important. It is fun to watch and after you find out who will be the man of Padlom will make you watch the series again (just like I did) because you want to watch how everything start and I suggest that in rewatching, observe on how Padlom and the leading man progress their sweet scenes. You’ll like it!
• O V E R A L L: 11/10.
I liked how the story progress and who Padlom end with. The cancellation of characters are wisely projected and how rejection should occur. You can’t just fire the agreement just because you share a good moment with someone, but you should know your heart and consider your feelings too. This lakorn has so many moral stories to learn from and it will show too many situations in one story.
PS: Khob khun krap for another good lakorn GMM.

This movie is bit more mature and heavy but I enjoyed that. It is nice to see how there is more and more movies and dramas about gay relationships, especially in South Korea where homosexuality is not totally exepted yet.
STORY-The story was really interesting it was nothing like what I have ever seen before, it was hard to tell what was going to happen next. There were moments where it wasn't quite clear if they are playing their characters in the play or just being themselves but I think that is what is so cool about the movie.
The story was a bit rushed because the movie was only 1h 22min long, it would have been better if the movie was around 2h.
ACTING/CAST- In my opinion the acting in this movie was great, the actors fit their roles really well. Although the agap between the main leads was 18 years it didn't disturb me at all, so don't worry the interactions between the actors weren't cringy or uncomfortable to watch at all.
For a rookie actor Oh Seung Hoon did a great job, this was his first movie but you really can't tell based on his acting.
Park Sung Woong's acting was also great as expected from a veteran actor.
MUSIC- The music compimented the story very nicely and I think it played a big role in this movie.
ENDING- What I like about this movie is that the whole story wasn't predictable, it was really hard to tell what was going to happen in the end and that's something that doesn't happen often with romantic movies.
I didn't like the ending but when i think about it it went well with the story.
All in all I really recommend watching this movie if you want something different from those sweet, cute romcom movies.

This drama has so many wonderful plots, scenarios, and amazing actors.
I love their emotions, their characters and I love the bond they had with one another.
This drama is definitely an eye opener for anyone who's going to college, or who plans to go to college.
This drama reveals if you really know your true friends, and what to look for when you live in this world.
This drama is like a step by step guide on how to act like an adult. This teaches you about responsibility, friendship, and relationships.
Oh yeah... the relationship department. That part of this drama really amazed me. And it shows how wonderful these actors are.
This is the second drama that I love so much.

Love all of the cast but I didn't expect Park Sung Woong, a veteran in drama to accept this kind of film but honestly he did very well, very very very very well. Next actor, worthy to be acknowledged is Oh Seung Hoon, he may be a fresh image for me, but definitely his acting is that of a professional. I can see how perfectly he portrayed a character and I definitely will look forward for more of his dramas and films.
I agree with the majority that the film was rushed. There could have been a concrete proof of the development of characters but ,nevertheless, I was able to enjoy it. The intense scenes are definitely something to look forward (If no one told you yet, then let your imagination work. think and watch to understand what intense I am referring to xD). Knowing that it is from Korea, hopefully, more dramas and movies with BL can be aired or shown.

It has it's cute ways of causing you to fall in love with the actors and actresses.
The music is catchy, the acting is cool, and the story plot was good. I wanted to say great... but it sort of has it's flaws.
It's not boring, the songs will have you moving your feet, and you will be on the edge of your seat.
When I first saw this drama, I spoke to my TV as if I could be heard. I may have been a little impatient in certain episodes... but I'm glad that I waited.
This drama is good.

The story line is... well written. The acting is well performed. The music is well played.
Watching this drama makes me want to stay closer to my family. It makes me appreciate life and know that anyone could get taken from you in a flash.
In this world... You don't have time to be bitter, and act foolish.
It also tells me that finding love isn't easy. The ones you love, may not feel the same. Next move is just to move on.
This is a drama that I'd recommend anyone to watch. You can learn a lot of valuable lessons after watching this.

I am a huge fan of those four that I just named.
I've seen 4 to five of their movies/dramas. Wonderful acting.
Since I love them so much, I watch any drama with them in it. Whether they're villains, whether they have a cameo... whatever. I'll watch it for them.
Secret Garden is indeed a wonderful drama. I laughed throughout the entire show. I cried a tad bit later on, but it wasn't for long.
I suggest that the one's who haven't seen it, please watch. This is the only drama I'd proudly recommend. All 10 stars!!

But... When I saw that Song Seung Heon was going to be in it, I smiled bright. I am a huge fan of his, and I love him so much.
I also watched this drama because of Go Ara. I love her acting. She's really amazing, and seems very sweet in reality.
This drama gave me a bit of a headache, but not in a bad way. Just in a way that required me to think.
I will say that you can't leave the room when the drama is playing.

Won't lie, I went into Keiji Yugami because of my long lasting love for Tadanobu Asano and the fact that it has been quite some time since I watched a good mystery drama. The premise is pretty simple, an experienced out of the box old detective (Asano as Yugami)) gets paired with straight as arrow young blood (Kamiki as Hanyu) and they sets on solving cases. There's episodic cases with one case throughout the drama that gets solved. Average right? WRONG!
There's a twist in almost every cgaracter but most specifically Hanyu with his virginity fueled obsession with women and credit where it's due, Kamiki with this role just leaped a little far ahead of the rest of his generation in my eyes. Asano never dissapoints, subtle changes in his expresion changes the gear of the story. The rest of the cast especially their chief, badass Kanno, was also amazing and aptly written. The writing of the characters including the sides is pretty stable and consistant. Detailing of the each individual crimes and the overall plot on the other hand could use a little more finesse but I've seen so much worse.
The production is top notch. It looked like they have just the enough budget, a little more could've include badly incorporated fight scenes and a little less would've cost us the magnificent array of actors showed up each week. The setting in the husky sepia noir lighting with autumn is an immediate plus. Clap clap for the styling department, a lot can be said by the way a people dress and carry themselves, more so if it's a detective drama and they nailed it here eventhough it meant the character wearing same clothes througout the drama. See Kdramas, a very important lesson to learn here.
I've highlighted what I've felt like highlighting and the rest is up for you to decide. All I can say I've enjoyed this one and if ther's a sequel in the future, without a second doubt would watch.

I don't have anything against the cast in the drama. It seems that they all gave their best in portraying their role. Everyone say that Vanness Wu is struggling with his Mandarin but as I don't speak the language, I really don't mind and it seems okay. Nonetheless, Vanness Wu and Ady An have undeniable chemistry. Furthermore, the child that portrayed Xiao Le, is one of the best actor in the whole series. It is also by their soundtrack that made me love this series more. The music gave more emotion to every scene that I can even shed a tear when it starts. Air on the G String is love!
All in all, this drama is a gem that will always be one of the best. I would never mind watching it again especially if I want to have a good cry.
It is really a roller coaster ride.
It roots deep. A lot of understanding and realization can came up with this series. Love is really of different kinds.
Caution: this is not for the lighthearted! Blast of emotions coming up! ???

As for the acting, I still don't like Go Ara's acting ever since I've watched her in Hwarang. I don't know if it's her character or what, but her facial expressions doesn't buy me. Instead, I was rooting for Lee El's character to end up with Seung Heon's character. That's one of the reasons why I disliked the middle episodes. After reading some reviews after the drama ended, I gained some encouragement again to continue watching the drama. True enough, the episodes 15-18 reveals everything. The plot twists were crazy, it really blew up my mind. That's when I realized that this drama chooses its audience because the flashbacks are real. You have to pay attention in all the details every episode because it will all connect at the end.
If there is an award for the Best Plot Twist, I would want Black to receive that award because the plot twist was really insane. You can never trust anyone that easily. Despite my annoyance with Go Ara's acting, I still give this show a 8.5/10 rewatch value because of the amazing story they got here.
