STORYLINE: 6/10
Hearty is a dog that literally strengthens the children of the ??? family. The kind of loyal dog that never allows you to feel lonely even when faced with the tragedies of life.

CHARACTERS: 8/10 -- ACTING: 6/10… ??? 8.7/10
At such a young age ??? character presence lingers throughout the whole film that I found myself saddened and low for the majority of the film each time I remembered. ??? potrayed the mannerism of my brother, giving me a familiar vibe of both loathing (when he teased Soi), pure brotherly love (when his spirit/ life purpose seized to exist) or even the sadness (watching him tackle the memories/reality Hearty represented).

LIKED – The character Soi – her interaction with Hearty made the dog shine.
DISLIKED – The predictableness of the storyline after the tragedy. The plot just lacked the fan factor it had built that I lost the connection to care for I quickly became aware that my heartstrings were going to be pulled by the writer/ director… creating the predictable feeling

CONCLUSION:
You should watch this drama if you enjoy good child acting – family – tragedy – dogs – slice of life – hope – melodrama – abandonment – willpower.

Well I have things to say. I've been waiting to finish this drama for MONTHS.
Here I go.

Just saying: ONE I have some negativity in the beginning of the show and TWO although no names (aside from his daughter which YOU WILL HEAR MANY TIMES) are stated for some there could be some comments that could be construed as spoilers. Warning given :D

After the initial disdain I had for the first 2 and around 20% of the 3rd episode... the story finally started picking up.  In these past months I had tried to watch the first episode around... 5 times? Yeah about there.. Then I finally buckled down and said I will watch it all. Episode 2 will be better. After all of the initial "wheres my daughter?!, where's sooyeon!!!!" His parental rage would have gotten more from me if it weren't every second for basically the whole episode. I have strong dislike for the first 2 episodes. It took me so much will power to get past those episodes. NOW don't get me wrong. Overall this drama was very thrilling to watch. It is now 6AM when I finally finished,  and I was at episode 11 when I started my continued watching yesterday.

The story progresses at such a pace that I was actually guessing and couldn't stop watching. Honestly the acting saved this drama. Sure, there is quite a bit of extra loud screaming, and angst, and crying, but there's also oddly well placed moments of hope, and plot twists, and character growth, redemption, so much finesse in murders. If you can get past that first little roadbump the rest of the series is expertly put together. It's actually quite a thrill trying to figure out whats happening to who and when. I wouldn't not recommend this show to anyone who's genre this is, because honestly its very well put together.  Even though I say eps 1+ 2 are will crushers (which can be true if you can't see red like the main lead) It's important to the plot and the rest of the story to actually fully understand and watch mostly all of eps 1-5/6. Lot's of knowledge will come at you :D

I wrote review on first season but I can't just look at this empty list, so here I am again. This is one of rare webseries that actually are very sweet and lovely. This will make you smile and relate to every character, here are no bad guys or someone you would hate. Just sweet webseries about life and I am amazed how much it can be expressed in 8mins. I enjoyed it all the way, saw actors for first time and their acting is 10/10 for real, rewatch value high af. I will watch it again with my friends, this is nice to watch when you want to relax, just fell in love or just had a break up.

If you weren't satisfied w/ season 1, I think season 2 could change your mind. Don't be afraid to give it a chance! This time you can really see the improvement with the series' character development.  Although there are still many comedic and silly scenes, season 2 is much more serious as the characters mature and realize the changes in their lives as they grow older. It was really refreshing to watch. I was actually impressed because I honestly just watched season 1 to kill some time and it was somewhat enjoyable enough for me to keep watching but I think we can all admit that it got kind of absurd and unrealistic at times. BUT season 2 is much more realistic with so many improvements. Even the cinematography improved. And because season 2 was so much better, it made me change my mind about this whole series. Sure, it's not the best, but I actually really, really liked it and it felt like it was worth my time. I'd love to see a season 3. And it made me happy that almost all their friends from season 1 appeared! The new characters were also really refreshing. And just a WARNING: second lead syndrome is even worse this season. Natsume (Sugino Yosuke) was very charming! So be prepared!

First impressions:
When i first saw articles about the cast, i was really excited (because i trusted that the cast would make the drama interesting). Plus, the initial storyline sounded really promising. However as the story progresses, the plot became really lacklustre. It was slow paced and at the same time artistic. As someone who love fast-paced drama, this drama is really not for me. I even dropped this drama around episode 23 simply because the drama doesn't really interest me anymore. But i decided to continue this drama (a month later), just to see how it ends.

Storyline:
The writer wanted to portray, a realistic drama that unravels problems faced by couples. The writer focused more on bringing out the emotions instead of making the drama interesting for the viewers. Maybe it is time for the writer to start incorporating what the viewers want into what she wants to portray in her writing. Overall, this drama will suit people who loves slowpaced and deep romance dramas.

Acting:
This drama is a classic case of Good Cast but bad plot. From what i have seen, the cast really tried their best to portay their characters and there were chemistry between them. As a new actor, Yang Se Jong acted better than my expectations.

Music:
I really love how timely the music is and how it suits the scene.

Rewatch Value:
ZERO. I will never rewatch this. Yes i admit that the main couple is cute and there were a lot of fluffy romance scenes in the drama (I LOVE ROMANCE) but i don't think i could endure rewatching this drama. I will probably end up throwing my laptop out of the window from frustration.

I didn't really go into this movie expecting a lot; but it was still disappointing. Korea seems to be good at churning out romantic comedies, but not many of them would make the cut as a 'good' romantic comedy.

I only watched this because I like Moon Chae Won and Yoo Yeon Seok. I guess that's how other viewers would have been hooked into watching the movie. The premise of it taking place on a KTX train was interesting too.

The premise of the show was slightly misleading - I thought the whole movie would take place on a KTX train, but really, it was just the start of the movie. From then, many of the usual rom-com cliches kicked in. A girl struggling in her high heels, taken for granted by, plus a playboy who likes to sleep around, but who is actually, deep down inside, a romantic and sincere man at heart. I just felt like I've seen all this before.

The addition of the subplot of trying to locate a up-and-coming basketball player really did not serve much purpose or give more meaning or depth to the movie. Jo Jae Yoon was as usual, some small comic relief, but not enough to excite me about the movie on the whole.

Overall, if you're looking for some light comic relief and need something to pass your weekend afternoon, you could watch it. But I won't promise that it will be the best use of your time.

First off, I loved it.  I am right now a Mickda (Mick/Mookda shipper tagteam actors. It's right up there with Aomike [Aom/Mike D'Angelo].  Oh, and PookWeir [PookLook and Weir]. )
----------------------------------------------------------------
Second point, I was watching this and then became distracted with Andrew Gregson's 1999's version --- which I loved....At this end of this review---I will make a short comparison reference between them. I didn't see the 1985 version.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Third point, I give long reviews without any spoilers.  I will bold important sections you might want to skip too.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

This story is great.

The story on the surface is banal.  You have a tyrannical, matriarchal figure with a classist mentality which feeds various veins of destruction.  She doesn't learn from her behaviour and it's circular; her actions rewrites itself in history until it comes to a head full circle.

Grandmama Queen had three children. Two of which are blood and an adopted son, and this is where everything begins.  All three children have children of their own---she managed to control the lives of all two of the three---adoptee escaped; but it seems to purgatory. The sins of the father are the sins of the child in this case and hence we have a circular story.

However, this is where it becomes fascinating if you pay attention to the story without distractions. You have nothing to bother for 34 for hours (2 hours per ep).  I see why the story was pushed back to the 1950s rather than keep it to present day.  It's far more fitting.  Children are far more willing to rebel today than in the past.

The fear, guilt, and power an elder can wield on a child (even if they are an adult) is magnificent in the cruelest way.  The social classism is frightening in its significance. I know it's real past and present; however it's perpetuated within a family dynamic.  Resulting in a cyclical perverse of Luk's love for Massaya.  He's made to feel his love is either dirty, destructive, or unattainable. Then he has it, tries to fight for fight for it...then someone is so severely affected by it he thinks it is one of those things. He's in a catch-22. Massaya is an innocent who doesn't really understand is continuously hurt by his actions are inexplicable.

There is also an implicit religious discrimination that is fascinating. I was impressed by not only that they included this discrimination; but they added a historical and cultural aspect of Thailand I never knew existed.  If you are knew to Massaya...then you will learn something. It was surprising to me.

The setting; it has that awkward century/decade dating. The summary says it should be the 1950s in Thailand however sometimes the clothing is not fitting the time period, the housing and decor, etc. At times, I'm waiting for a cell phone to pop out. The cars are hot.

There is something to see here and there is something that it offers.
------------------------------------------------------------
I'll break down what the actors bring to the lead characters that make them impressionable.

Mookda as Massaya - Her first debut role. OMG. This girls scenes. She had me at her eyes.  Her eyes.  This is not really a spoiler, but she has this way of closing her eyes when Lak (Mick) says something into her ear.  It's like what he's saying is hitting her heart.  She can hold a scene and she can carry it. Therefore, I see Massaya and I understand her.

Mookda is a very petite woman.  Tiny actually; so next to Mick she looks like a child. Mick looks like he's 30 and she looks 15. In reality they're around the same age.

Mick as Luk - Not his first debut. He's great as usual.  I just worry about this boy being typecast. I like seeing him goofy at times. I like seeing him cry, I like seeing him hug her, I like seeing him dancing with Mookda. I like his moments of being drunk. He had a lot of diversity. I really liked him becoming angry.  He was almost a bit two-dimensional in earlier episodes until  he starts romantically seeing Massaya.

Mookda and Mick were delivering some serious love through their characters.  Mookda was one of the first female Thai actresses  I've seen where her character takes the initiative to show her man some love---where HE was surprised.

The actors had serious chemistry on and off screen.  During my holiday break I saw this drama twice. I love it that much. Then I watched the 2000 version.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2000 vs. 2017 comparison

It's a strong toss up.  As a note if we're looking for leads. Both are good for both time periods. I do feel that the 2000 story was great in the early episodes because it gave a better look at what Thailand had to offer as a country that I never knew.  Therefore, not only was there a story, there was a history. Yeah, I became a tourist and it was fun.  I felt the lead actress, Ford, was given a chance to give us better access into Massaya's Thai-Malay background (which I believe the lead actually does have).

While, unfortunately, I felt in the 2017 version the writers really lost a great opportunity build that into the story some more. I felt we lost a lot of the story on her mother which would have been great.  We actually did get more on Massaya's mother's culture in the 2000 story than in the 2017.   I would have loved to hear and see the full solo version of the Hitam Manis Malay song sung by Massaya in the 2000 that was lost in 2017---it was so beautifully done in 2000.

Even if Mookda couldn't sing she should have done it, just like in the 2000 version.  It was so beautifully executed in the earlier version. Ford Buachompoo (2000's Massaya) obviously sung the original version of the song and it wasn't great but it was captivating and sweet. I loved Andrew's acting.  Andrew was the best.  He is a very natural actor. I felt he's a stronger and better actor than Mick.

I think I would have actually preferred his version of Luk in the 2017 during the 1950s time period with the 2000 time period mentality he executed.  That would have made for some interesting storyline.  Mick would have been FIRE! I felt that Mick...despite being great...I think I wanted this sort of cocky, flirty, but also protective and kind and very three-dimensional character/persona from the get-go that Andrew provided in the 2007 story.  As I said, Mick was very two-dimensional early on, he didn't expand until later.

Luk ~ Andrew 2000 vs. Mick 2017---I'm giving it to Andrew 2000.

Massaya ~ Ford 2000 vs.  Mookda 2017 ---- I'm giving it to Mookda 2017.

As you can see I raved about Mookda's acting and what she delivered.   I raved about what Andrew delivered.   I liked Ford, but she was whatever for me. Andrew owned the scenes each and every time, everywhere.  Mookda and Mick had more chem than Andrew & Ford.  So Mickda owned the screen.  As I said, After watching 2000 I wanted Mick's Luk to be less the great self-righteous hero they made him out to be and a flirty guy added to his wishy-washy behaviour (the behaviour was because of his situation between love and duty).

I recommend both dramas.  Andrew is so good.  He's a great actor.  He is on my fave list. I was never into him or Weir, until this winter break. He's brilliant.

I used to be a Hey Say Jump fan when I was younger... about 8 years ago or so. Sometimes, I get curious about bands that I use to obsess over and occasionally check them out. When I found this show on YouTube, I was curious. Then, I saw how handsome some of them became!.... and saw how interesting and funny this show is! The premise of the show is that viewers (or the staff) have the members investigate odd things/problems/anything interesting.
The guys are definitely funny, especially Yaotome Hikaru. I like them in variety shows, but I think they are most interesting/funny/natural when they're altogether like this. They look like they're good friends and get along well with each other ? (I've become a JUMP fan again after watching this, but I don't listen to their music. I just watch their shows XD)

This drama was amusing to watch. It took me quite sometime to pick it up and spend time watching it, I'm on Christmas break right now so I was like why not!

Story: I mean I don't see the reason explaining the story so I'll just say what I liked and disliked. At the beginning of the story I was kind of angry because the way people treated Shi On. I basically hated everyone except Shi On. Though as the story goes on, people started liking him and treating him well because they saw how amazing he was as a doctor/surgeon. Though something that I just decided to skip was the negotiation of whether what should happen in the hospital (basically I skipped all the political stuff). Something I really liked about the drama though and what kept me watching it was because of the kids and Shi On. Him interacting with the kids made my heart warm. (Note: though I felt like this drama didn't have to have romance for the mains)
Acting/Cast: JOO WON. OMG THIS GUY. He is amazing at playing his role. I've watched him in Yong Pal but sadly he didn't catch my eye. BUT HIM IN THIS DRAMA. He is now one of my favourite actors. He is so handsome too. Moon Chae Won also did pretty good. I might have to go search her up after this. Some other people that stood out to me was Joo Sang Wook. I hated his character at first but as I kept on watching, he started to warm up. Also I really liked Kim Hyun Soo who played on of the patients. It was fun seeing her on screen with Joo Won.
Music: I didn't really pay attention to the OST so I can't really say anything. :(
Rewatch value: Something like this I think I can only watch once since it's a medical drama but I'll probably watch some short clips on youtube if I'm in the mood
Overall: I recommend you watch this. I had this drama on my list for almost 4 months and I finally picked it up but I felt like this drama gave me a message. Even if people tease you and make fun of you because of your dream, ignore it and keep on going even if it hurts.

Ok. I'm not sure how to start to write about this drama but let's see.
18 Episodes of 1 hours and a half each.  Analyzing the first half of the drama, you will find a very interesting dark\funny story with a good cast. The drama has a lot of plot twists and it will keep you interested. The acting is good and has a great cast. I have to say I'm not fan of Go Ah Ra but that's just me. Seung Heon does an amazing job and the other supporting actors do a great job. If you like a drama in which most of the tiime you have no idea what's going on regarding the plot, this is for you, but I have to say I have never seing such a complicated plot, the writers really had fun adding stuff lol. The drama is pretty solid into keep you interested but episode 18 (finale) was very weak  and left many things open and many make absolutely no sense. I'm not sure if I would rewatch it but is worth to try it out if you have not seeing it

One star for each episode that I liked... minus one for the final episode. Don't get me wrong, though; even though I personally wasn't a fan of the final episode, by no means do I think this isn't a drama worth watching.

I loved this drama from the start; our three main characters made such an excellent team who balanced each other out well and each brought their own strengths. The acting was top notch, the stories were interesting and well-developed. Personally, I think the characters were done an injustice (heh) by the last episode, which knocked them down without giving them a chance to get back up. I don't know if there was originally a second season planned for this drama, but it would have been well-served to be a 16 episode series with more time to explore our characters backgrounds and futures (also, I could have watched them work cases together forever).

Definitely worth a watch if you are into the crime/mystery genre.

It's my 3rd time watching Strong Woman Do Bong Soon as I'm writing this review.
In order for you to find this drama enjoyable you must consider what type of drama it is. As you already must have seen, the drama is under "Action, Thriller, Comedy, Romance, Supernatural and Investigation" which might sound pretty much like a big mess. But personally I think they did quite a good job including all these genres. The drama has the typical Korean drama love line. If you enjoy the typical love triangle and the main cast falling in love with each other, this drama might be your new love! Do you enjoy cute things? If so, I believe that is one more reason for you to love this drama. Especially the main characters and the music in the drama is very cute. Do you enjoy super hero stories? Do you like to see once in a while a strong female character? Do you enjoy watching crime/investigation scenes? (But not to the level of crime focused dramas) Then, again this might be the right drama for you to watch.

Some more aspects:
Characters: Cute main characters, very interesting variety of supporting characters.
Character development: Not that much, most characters seem to stick to their personalities (which could be a positive thing as even in real life people don't change that easily)
Story line: Slightly messy, but acceptable for its genre that is not to be taken too seriously. Quite predictable, which might be a big minus for some people expecting more creativity with the story line.

Overall, I think this is a type of drama that you could know from the very first episode if this will be the type of drama you would like to watch. It's not the case with all the dramas, but in this case it seems to be possible to judge based on the first episode.

This movie was honestly so breathtaking. This movie is one of the few movies I've seen that just blows it out of the water, the two main male leads had amazing chemistry and you could really feel their feelings being portrayed. The play part of the movie was one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen in a movie, you could really tell what the actors were trying to convey and could feel the emotion not only in the dialogue but through their actions as well. Another thing about this movie is it honestly didn't have a lot of dialogue for a movie of this length but everything made sense and you could always tell what was going through the characters head. The only thing I would have liked to see was a little bit more at the end, to show how the characters ended up. All in all this movie was so amazing and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about watching, amazing and breathtaking.

if you got tired or just finished some drama and just want something without twists and just sweetheart story this is it! This is like cloud served as the dish, fluffy and cute and adorable I coo all the way trough this (and secretly cry because single since birth and haven't experienced any of this) but I bet people find it relatable and I wish korean dramas would sometimes do fluffy work like this to relax some viewers from all the brain work we have to do on revealing twists and throwing theories. For WebSeries this is so awesome! The camera work is 10/10! Just nice show to see the view points from male friend/boyfriend/grilfriend/girl friend just really it's so short that you won't lose anything to give it a try I can assure you it's so adorable and good for just lay back and enjoy it!?

I personally love it no idea why people complain? It's WEBSERIES guys WEBSERIES not a serious drama that's why episodes are short and plot is rushed yet despite that in those 30mins everything is easy to understand even if it's rushed. Funny and interesting plot what can you ask more for comedy webseries? Acting 10/10 it's all great of course everyone wishes for long episodes but you can't change it, you came knowing it's webseries so why complain? Music, intro and ending so funny I laughed and enjoyed it.
