I did enjoy this series, the reason that I picked to watch this was that I loved the main casts. The plot was pretty good and it kept me on the edge of my seat and agonising over what's going to happen next. Although I really thought that sometimes the main female character was agonising way too much over some of her decisions.
There were parts when they were sick I felt that it dragged on a little too long for me. And the ending was a little bit of a let down.

I have known many friends that have been sexually assaulted so this movie hit home,
This isn't a typical movie on sexually assault . Heart wrenching and painful to watch.

I rate this movie a 10/10 but I couldn't give a higher rating for the rewatch value, it would be just too hard to endure it again
Please bring a full box of tissues if you plan on watching, and here I thought Miracle in Cell # 7 was heavy

Great great show i wish there were more episodes and more awareness of the show. I dint even know about it only by coincidence. Its a very unique and serious short film about school roomates and issues that most students go thru when put together in a shared environment. Each character was unique and had something special going on about them. Theres not really a main character per se but the little girl had most of the story revolving around her. Shes so cute and gullible but not that innocent. Theres romance, adult content and buckets of tears and laughters. Must see

To me it cannot be considered as real drama or movie as it is promotion video for InnisFree cosmetics band and their product placement was worse than some artist's music video.

Of course you cannot even expect anything from it as it in total is 12 minutes long.
The only charm are the actors and high quality shooting of it.

If you just want to drool over attractiveness of Lee Min Ho and Yoo Na then feel free to watch, otherwise save your 12 minutes to look for something better to watch..

To be honest, it cannot be called real drama or movie as it literally is just promotion video for LINE-app
and of course the best promotion is to take two different nations sweet-hearts and put them together for a sweet love story.

Drama lacks logical story development, but at the same time it can be seen as a good intro and I would be interested to see it as actual drama in future.

From good side, we have 2 good looking actors, amazing scenery and beautiful music, so I recommend it when you are just looking for 45 minutes of fluffy 7th heaven love story.

Truly an amazing Chinese drama! I love everything about this show. Even though it had 54 episodes, the show itself was very face pace along with the site that loaded the dramas made it seem like the show was really short. Definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys a variety in their drama such as romance, revenge and mysteries.

This movie is intense. Like, seriously, INTENSE. If you don't like any of the following, turn back now:
- motorcycles and the people (hot boys) that ride them
- gang activity
- potential emotional scarring for life (both the characters and the viewer)
- traumatic and turbulent relationships
- crying (again, both the characters and the viewer...mostly the viewer)

Basically I remember coming across this movie by accident a while ago and I thought it looked interesting (I'm a sucker for just about any type of romantic story...tragic or not), so I sat down to watch it, not realizing the emotional rollercoaster ride that I was in for. Don't get me wrong, this movie is fantastic in many ways: the acting, the writing, the cinematography...oh, god, the cinematography. I just didn't fully understand how INTENSE this movie is. If you are not prepared to feel like your heart has been fed through a wood chipper, don't watch this movie. But if you have a warehouse full of boxes of tissues, a stern constitution, and a truckload of emotional superglue to put yourself back together with at the end, by all means, enjoy.

(Nah, for reals, this movie is great and I highly recommend it. But, uh, if you do watch it and you decide to never watch it again...I get you. This isn't a movie that's easy to rewatch, hence the low score for rewatch value. Then again, if you like it enough to rewatch it, great. Just don't invite me over to your house for movie night, OK? OK.)

As somebody said in a review: "BL that isn't just BL"
And that's so true.
The basic premise is the one of a high-school drama, with all the ingredients you would expect from one: the poor boy, the new girl that is transferred, the exams, the adolescent love, etc.
But I was very surprised to find here very serious elements such as the implications (and the alienation) of being openly gay; the effect of social media and the spreading of rumours; the difference between who you are and who you are expected to be; how society determines your "place" according to your status (and what's on your bank account), and so on.
But don't be afraid, everything is being displayed in a very light way (there's no forbidden love drama), with lots of humor and in a realistic way; there's nothing there that couldn't have happened to any of us (more than a few years ago in my case =P); and there's no intention in the writer to make you suffer either.
The acting, despite none of the kids being professional actors is quite good, specially Phun and Noh; I'm sure you'll grow very fond of them although they are more adorable than believable.
Last but not least, this is the first part of a two part series, so beware that the story doesn't "end" here.
So, if you're looking for a realistic yet innocent BL/High-school drama (but keeping in mind that the production values aren't all that great) this one's for you.

First of all, that poster does not represent the drama in any way. I put off watching this because I wanted something lighthearted, and Love for a Thousand More was just what I needed. So basically, ignore the poster (though it looks nice).
I'll begin with the story. It was interesting, and I really liked the whole immortal thing combined with comedy and lightheartedness, and the characters were great. But I feel that it lacked some substance towards the end which kind of made the ending seem a bit rushed and off balance, but it's understandable since it is a short drama. Excluding that, the plot was nice and I really like the little segments after the credits. By the way, be sure to watch those parts.
The acting is where the drama goes a bit downhill (according to me). It wasn't the greatest acting, but it wasn't bad either and I managed to watch the show without cringing at the acting so don't leave this show aside just because I said the acting wasn't that great.
Character-wise the drama was great, especially when it comes to Mi Jo. I found her so refreshing and her outfits were just beautiful, and they suited her perfectly. She maintained her character till the very end which was awesome and the actress did a lovely job. The other characters were nice, especially Jason. He was just amazing and such a wonderful character, even though he wasn't the main focus.
Overall, I think you should give this drama a go just as a break from other intense and long dramas. Though there are some things which could be improved, I enjoyed Love for a Thousand More, and I hope you do too if you are willing to give it a try. So, do enjoy :)

First of all what attracted me to watch this was the main actor and actress. I love both of them very much and have seen great things that comes from them. My first impression of this series is that it's just another romcom drama. But I was very surprised about the plot, the characters and also the twists and suspense were all top notch.

This show reminded me of books and shows that are from a different century. The love loss and the coming together again were all done so well. The show had a really good pace and I was hooked just by watching one episode. I've seen this series about 3 times and since it's come onto Australian Netflix I keep going back to it. The chemistry between Ady and Vanness were perfect and one of my favourite characters was their little boy. He was really the star of the show.

I would highly recommend this to anyone.

(Rough TRANSLATION below, AS THERE ARE NO ENGUBS TO THIS SPECIAL) The ending of the two is just depicted in an almost fairy-tale like set, becoming of the ED lyric line that "they will "wait for [each other] at the ending point" where, as QS promises "the firefly and higanbana flower can be together". But that DOESN'T mean LL was hallucinating, perhaps it was meant to understood in a figurative way that they ended up happily together; there are two ideas I have on this.

About the realistic aspect in this ending set, LL OF COURSE would have wandered to the summer house he built for XL/QS while thinking about her. And with scene with the hill and horses, (alludes to proximity of the summer house that QS was staying at), so OF COURSE QS and LL's mum would head to the summer house to stay and spend their lives in, because that's the only residence QS can call her other home (she basically owns it) with a special connection (LL?), that is outside the palace. Where else could she go? Thus that's how they met. (Note the symbolism that she met and was waiting for him, in the bridal red clothing she wears in the beginning of the drama in marriage to YY. As if saying she was still waiting for her real marriage with LL - the to-be-wedded wife/princess of Lanling.)

But being a romantic, I would think much like when YY tried to find QS back in the vast palace, but it was his heart that led him to find her himself, this is quite like how fate brought LL to the XL/QS he was always searching for.

The main point is that, LL says, after he shushes her mouth, is he "finally understands everything" and "you are you, and she is her"- he finally sees the truth in his heart; sees the woman he loves as she is, without any doubts. Such as when LL observes XL's neck again, he indeed sees the scar there, that has been a huge deciding factor to his wavering stance on whether the woman in front of him was her. Now that scar doesn't even matter anymore to him, because as she says "that scar was always there". Physically it may have been wiped out by LL's mother (to prevent her son from recognising her), but in his eyes now, it is and will always there forever.

Also QS says she "was waiting for him for three years" at the summer house, so the summer house could be a figurative representation for his validation for his love. Note the symbolism that this is the place where LL planted a field of flowers, in his longing for her. He just needed to look inside and he would found that QS/XL was there all along in his heart. As for XL/QS happening after she recovers her memories, perhaps these "three years" meant that in her heart, even when she was wearing the mask of a bride, she was indeed waiting for him all through the drama (remember when she decided to wed YY just to be able to end up with LL?) and possibly from even before then- this is an ending where it is meant to validate how QS chooses to love LL in the end.

In the last few lines, QS asks if LL will stay with her and never leave again, and he replies yes, "he will never leave her again. He will stay with her forever"... and happily EVER AFTER! ^^

PS LL lives because his right hand general had secretly swapped the poison LL was forced to drink in the prison, and Luo-yun stabbed herself to make LL's death look real; the general/LL's bro, basically had planned this all out.

SORRY IF THAT WAS A MESSY REFLECTION OF THE FIRST SPECIAL!

This review may contain spoilers
At first I was not expecting to enjoy this from the couples perspective, but more from the university/ hazing angle. I mean another BL (when I did realise it was BL). Nothing wrong with a good BL story, but it's getting kinda long in the tooth.

That being said, I did not read any spoilers before (hence not knowing it was BL). The upbeat music score (Soh Sut Soh Say performed by Keng Thachaya) was just so powerful it had to be attached to something, at lease, exciting. Boy was I in for a surprise!

The actual hazing was a bit far fetched for reality, but added to the premise and story quite well. The SOTUS acronym was really fully thought out. (Could someone Thai say if it is real?) Not starting as the typical love story was, again, another plus. Trying to cipher out where it was going was like being a detective. Would it be more about the hazing and the relationships formed because of a fear of the seniors? Would it force the juniors into relationships? The development of the characters was not predictable at all.

The magnificent performance of N' Krist (Sangpotirat Perawat) and the facial expressions of N' Sinto (Ruangroj Prachaya) really added to tension and emotion. Not in any way putting down the pool of amazing Thai actors, and having watched quite a few Thai Dramas, I don't think anyone else was more worthy to play those parts. These two played well of each other and even the rest of the cast, bringing a feeling of realness to the episodes.

The ending. Wow. It is just the perfect circles of circles. Karma, faith and such. Everything just falling together for a reason!

The only one critique I could find was the secondary characters could get a little more development. They do take a backseat to the main. By backseat I mean all the way in the back of an articulated bus! A little more time about them would have been just perfect! This, in no way, takes away from the realness or storytelling. It's just a very, very tiny gripe.

All in all a worthy story, impeccable acting and amazing music score. Well worth the watch! Has to be the best for it's year and possibly one of the best Thai Dramas of all times! Hormones set a bar, but SOTUS has raised it!

Empress Ki is an amazing drama with great actors and a great story. It may have a lot of episodes but you will want to keep watching and the show will go by quickly. Truly it has left an impression on me!

Story:
The story is very well written and has so many twist. I really like how Empress Ki was a strong female lead and she was smart! She actually thought about her actions, didn't let people push her around and she planned smart. The story has everything from love, betrayal, politics, hate, power struggles and so much anguish. It's truly worth the watch.

Acting:
GREAT! Everyone did such a great job. Ha Ji-Won was killing it in this drama. She is a great actress. Ji Chang Wook has completely changed in my eyes. I saw him in healer and he was great also and here he doesn't let me down. He does a great job playing Emperor. Joo Jin-Mo did great also. It's my first time seeing him in a drama. The whole cast did great with the acting overall I could find no flaws. Also Jin Yi-han and Baek Jin-hee did great. This was my first time seeing both these actors and I will look for more of their work.
:
Music was pretty great in this drama. It fits well. I especially like the instrumental.

Rewatch:
I would rewatch even though it's so long! Just so many emotions. (Do I want to go through it all again? :))

Overall:
10/10

This drama has an amazing plot. The fact that both of the main characters had some type of issue with themselves was unique and interesting for the audience because it helped to build the relationship that they had with each other. Not only was the relationship that they had with each other interesting, but the relationships that the other characters established was different. It has a different story from any other story that have seen and I would recommend to anyone that likes a love story between a rich guy and poor girl.
