A great movie that would make you laugh, cry, value your family more and fall in love at the same time.
Very easy flick. Straightforward and less complicated. This movie will influence yoy to believe in destiny and soul mate. You will definitely have a big smile on your face towards the end.

This drama ruined something for me. I will never be able to watch the lead actor and actress with any other actor or actress. They are adorable to the point that I am literally screaming. This drama is beyond awesome. If you are not interested in historical, political, crime or any other sort of K-drama genre, I highly recommend this drama. I promise, it will kill you with its sweetness. Those of you who are wasting time watching Legend of blue sea and such, watch this. LOTBS is good in its own way but is no comparison to this drama.

I really loved this show but I would of loved if they could put the show in English besides that I really loved the show, even thought I don't really watch Korean stuff but I am so glad I stumbled across this show it's worth my time to watch it,I really hope they make a season 2 because I'm dying to know what happens next, by favourite characters have to be Ju ho and Kim Ro Woon because they seem so tough and are but they are also so sweet and caring and loving it's just adorable and then there's Lee da won who is very cool and protective of Min Ah,PLZ MAKE A SEASON 2IM DYING TO KNOW WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN

P.S. This is my first favourite show and my second favourite is Violetta

LOVE THIS SHOW I KEEP ON REWATCHING IT

Weightlifting? Maybe you're reading this review because you're doubting on starting this due to its athletic theme. Trust me, I hesitated like you too. I've always watched Korean dramas because they were popular and had really good ratings, but I have come across one of the best K-dramas yet just because of a recommendation by a friend who watches and tries a lot of Korean dramas. She knew I was choosy, so I decided to give it a shot. If only the Legend of the Blue Sea did not cast popular actors and had the same time slot, this drama would shine in all its glory.

Honestly, this is a breath of fresh air and a gem in a sea of rocks. For all we know, most stories would turn the "ugly" girl into a swan and the boy would eventually realize that he is in love with her, but this one is an exception. I love how it portrays college love/first love as it really is. A warm and fuzzy feeling. Usually, these dramas are one of the cringe-all-you-can types, but I've found it the opposite of that (even my brother who doesn't watch Korean dramas agrees that this one does not make him cringe at all). It's not even the cliche kind that we're getting tired of. The story's progression is so realistic that it won't leave you impatient for the leads to uncover their feelings.

The goodness of dramas are not based on popularity and ratings and this one proves it (to think that this is the first review I've made because it really made a mark on me). If you are reading this, hear me out and watch this gem! The music is so good, the story is transparent, simple and admirable, the cast has the BEST chemistry (kudos to the casting team for picking so well!), and the acting is exceptional! I'd definitely watch this over and over again. There are no fuss and frills in this drama. You will really feel the honesty and sincerity of the characters' feelings. It's like they are not acting but really portraying the characters as they are and it will leave you confused if they are really like that in real life. Everything is just so sincere that reel becomes REAL! I actually regret that I've ever hesitated on watching this. The transparency and lightness of this drama will make you feel a lot of honest and fuzzy feelings, so if you're thinking about watching it, stop hesitating and watch it now!

A MUST WATCH! I am super excited to write a review on this because I am ready to spill out ALL my thoughts on this drama! AHHHHHHH!!! Let's get started before I keep babbling on about how fantastic this drama is haha... (Get ready to read a long/full of thoughts review)

Story/Plot: -10- When my mom showed me this drama, I saw it was related to video games and I was like "I'm out! I am NOT watching this!" but I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy I did! The storyline is amazing, the combination between the game world and the outside world is such a unique idea that was brought out nicely throughout this drama. I love school/earlier adulthood settings so this was a major plus for my specific taste. Overall, the plot was perfect because it had funny moments, sad moments, and such cute moments all in one!

Acting/Cast: -10- Zheng Shuang and Yang Yang (Bei Wei Wei and Xiao Nai) had amazing chemistry! His character looks out for her in every way possible and it is just so cute! Her character complements his character and that makes this whole entire drama 10 times, NO! 100 times better. The whole entire cast was spot on for this plot. Er Xi and Bei Wei Wei's friendship is absolute GOALS! Speaking of goals, of course, Bei Wei Wei relationship with Xiao Nai is also goals! It makes me so sad because I know, in the real world, that there will never be anyone perfect as Xiao Nai! :( I also love how this drama mainly focuses on the two main characters and even though there are misunderstandings throughout the drama, it always comes back to focusing on Bei Wei Wei and Xiao Nai. This just adds way more meaning to their relationship in "Love o2o" and it is what makes this drama really stand out from the others.

Music: -10- The songs/tunes used in this drama are so adorable and they fit in with the events happening so well! There is also a song by Yang Yang in this so that just makes me love it even more! :)

Rewatch Value: -10- Saying that I have already watched this drama 3 whole times, from the beginning to the end, and still find it intriguing to watch it for the fourth and fifth and sixth time, I would definitely give this a 10 rating for "rewatch value." (I am actually planning to rewatch this for the fourth time, maybe tomorrow since I have nothing else to do)

Overall: -10- The storyline is perfect! The characters are perfect! The music is perfect! Everything is practically perfect! There is no other drama that has beaten this one yet, for me, so I absolutely LOVED this one! I might seem to be rating this drama really easy going, maybe in your opinion, but this drama hits the spot for me! Trust me with this review! :)

Thank you for reading this long review, but I hope it helped you guys! I REALLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO WATCH THIS DRAMA BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST ONE YET FOR ME!

Chào for Now!
Lily L.

for a always-bored-girl like me whom wanted non complexed Kdrama for the the current time. i was like searching for the less serious drama ever and after few days of watching random first kdramas episodes I saw WEIGHTLIFTING KIM BOK JOO and as you see in the poster there're alot of smiley faces and clear sky and i said "hmmm yup i need some break from realistic and tragedy types.." and then I read the genres i was like good good good and WHAT!! "SPORTS" no thank you !! but i suddenly clicked to watch some scenes in the first episodes and i kept in mind that I WOULDN'T WATCH IT ....*but I was desperately captured by it*

STORY :if you looking for a cute, optimistic yet heartwarming drama then CONGRATULATION BABE you've just found your one. this drama is about the life of the talented weightlifter kim bok joo,the drama shows real life families , friendships and love. the plot is not new in kdrama world ,it shows that even a weightlifter can fall in love. the first episodes i was really kinda uninterested because it was pretty normal but sense of humor was like forcing me to watch every min. of it, later on when all the characters showed their real problems and dreams ,i wasn't really able to stop watching it, so you won't regret watching it. the drama will never make you bored and will not make you sad and chocked with tears it will only fill you up with a cozy feeling because you know that everything will be okay in the end and there are many scenes that will actually shock you by the acting skills of the acting cast ,it may have a simple plot but masterpiece scenes even when the actors are not speaking in it , you'll feel everything, BUT don't get me wrong the drama is really well written and in every ep. there's a new development. I really didn't waste a min. watching it.

ACTING :okay i know, i know, every freaking one will say a model body can't be like a weightlifting one but trust me Lee Sung Kyung will make you believe everything just LIKE MAGIC !! and her chemistry with Nam Joo Hyuk is just WOW !! this drama shows all the single ladies here the real meaning in the word GOALS ! you will wish that you have JOON HYEONG (Nam Joo Hyuk) in your life in every scene he appears in *be prepared (*^*)* even when he act like a total dork , he'll be just a kind cutie in your eyes *trust me* the rest of the cast is pretty good too , i think even the character you would want to hate , you will soon understand him/her and can't actually hate him/her

REWATCH :HELL YEAH !! I will definitely watch it to give me a good mood and piece of mind

THIS DRAMA REALLY DESERVE MORE ATTENTION *^* !!

One of the worst movies out there. If this was based on a manga (which I didn't read---normally I would have read a manga before the film) it's atrocious. The acting is lackluster to say the least----everyone in the main cast is super attractive but they need growth to be interesting.

The premise of the story is these kids get together because they're rejected by all other social groups in their school. The main character is because he's half-Japanese/Half-White---so he has "blonde" hair. The others are rejected for some other factor, one has big tits, another likes science and is horny. I don't know. Just a poorly executed storyline without any dimensional characterization.

As I said the acting is not helpful. I think for men this could be a great film or even women if you're into the superficial and extreme T&A (Tits & Ass). I mean all of those teases are all over the place and extreme. I was actually impressed by the boys self-control, which made me think he might be gay. That could be an over the top statement, but that's not even a nice guy attitude.

Anyway, not impressive.

This review may contain spoilers
My impression of "My Annoying Brother" is that its a great family type of movie, at least in my opinion...
I expected a sad story about how Du Yeong(D.O Kyungsoo)becomes blind and deals with his brother Ko Doo Shik(Jo Jung Suk)who goes out of prison(i remind you,a SAD story(its worse XD)). Well...it was actually really different from what i imagined. First the swearing is a lot, i dont know if Korea sees this as a family movie, considering they blur out knives and guns...And i like how they delivered the story! There was Comedy, swearing, family drama, sadness and tragedy(duh!what can you expect from the peson who made it)brotherly bonding and love, i'm glad the movie is not another sad tragedy movie hit ;) , which i expected from the person who made it(well....proved my expectations kinda....). The reason im giving the story 9.5 is because i feel something was missing, just a little in the beginning. Im still in shock from the ending, i did not expect it at all. So im not gonna give you a spoiler, watch it and see if your gonna be just as shocked.
The acting was great. The bromance made me scream, cry and laugh. It was funny to see the swearing which is really really a lot more than in any drama you have ever seen. Jo Jung Suk is one of my favorite actors because of this movie(in my top 3). His acting is out of this world, i did not doubt his acting for a second. Next lead D.O Kyungsoo: I was worried about D.O because, since "I Remember You" i havent seen him in a lot of dramas or movies. Gladly there was nothing to worry about,he is just as good as always. Lets hope we can see him in more dramas and movies.
Next: Park Shin Hye(Lee Soo Hyeon) was a big suprise for me when i found out about the cast. Her acting was great i'm so glad she was in this movie i cant imagine another female in this role (that's not an A list actress) to grab my attention. Otherwise the role would be very simple, bland and waste of screen time. She delivered the role of caring for Du Yeong so well, that felt it! I dont know why i expected romance between her and the brothers. I shiped her and Du Yeong so hard, but i have a feeling, that if it was a romance movie she would go to Ko Doo Shik and Du Yeong would be the sad second lead who is blind.... so maybe its not good to have romance in this movie after all but just cute, lovely-dovey bromance. The acting is a 10, best cast ever!
Now to the topic about the music in the drama. Its the only thing that didn't stick out enough to
impress me. I dont get it they had D.O Kyungsoo of EXO and Jo Jong Suk(they sang one song at the ending which was good) who can both sing couldnt they make them sing the songs or at least give the signers better songs! They werent bad dont get me wrong but they were not on the same level as the story, acting and visual of the cast and scenery. That's why im giving it 8.5.
As a rewatch value i would soo watch it again. Yes, yes and yes. I only wish i could watch it with my family but they don't even understand english. Thankfully i can watch it with my sister because its a great family movie that plays with your emotions. Even if there are a little shirtless scenes XD. 9.5
Overall its a great movie it had comedy it wasn't all sad like i expected it to be.(Thou from the discription is missing a few generes besides those "Comedy, Drama, Family, Life". Well what happens in the movie can be summed up in genre ''Life'' i guess.)The relationship between the brothers really made my legs jelly. I really liked it! Even if i gave the music 7.5 im still giving it a 10 for overall impression because the other movies that could hold my attention that long without me spacing off are only Train to Busan, Miracle in Cell No. 7 and Werewolf Boy. And as i said in the beginning SAD....prepare food and prepare a place where you can blow your nose and hang your face to dry after the movie...my face is still drying from all the tears....

This movie was mediocre. There were no twists and turns. The flashback scenes did add to the story and make it more relate-able. This movie is something everyone has seen before, and there is nothing the creators do to make it stick out.

The acting was okay. The lead did a good job, but it was nothing spectacular. The music did not stick out either. The one thing that did make this movie memorable was the White guy Nick, who was actually a lead. His Chinese was perfect and his character was rather charming.

When i saw Kwangsoo in an ice hockey uniform i flipped. Ofcourse, him being one of my favourite (Korean) actors, i had to watch it, especially because it was so short.
The length of the drama could have been a few episodes longer, so the story line could be worked out better in my opinion.

I liked the scenes with Kwangsoo and the ice hockey team, and i also liked that there was something else then ice hockey all the time (the money taking part), but i think they kind of rushed through it.
Before you knew it, everyone was friends, and i though they could show that a little bit more if they added more episodes.

I didn't like the ending, because i didn't know what was going to happen to the real ice hockey player in the hospital, you didn't know what was going to happen to the girl Junman liked, and you didn't know if Junman was going to keep playing in the team, and what happened to their "manager".

Besides from those three points, i think the drama was good. The cast was great, and i liked the songs they played in it.
If i would rewatch it, i'm not sure.. But it's definitely worth watching once atleast!

So when I first started watching this drama i would describe it with one word CONFUSING....

But i couldnt stop watching and i started making my own little theory over what happend between the characters.

I really liked the storyline and its a drama for everyone who likes some dark andy mysterious things.
I fell in love with the charecters and loved Yook Sungjae in the role as Kong Tae Kwang. He was truly amazing and I loved Tea Kwang's character a lot.

The OST is really beutiful and overall fitting.
As well is the storytelling it's quick and you are not able to miss somesting from The story.
Overall a great drama!

Entourage is another of tvN’s ambitious Korean remakes of American shows. Unfortunately, compared to The Good Wife, this is a pretty terrible remake.

I have not watched either originals of both shows, so I’m judging this as a standalone show.

There is so much wrong with the story. There’s just nothing happening at all. I have read that the original was somewhat like that, the chronicling of what happens in the life of a Hollywood starlet. In whatever way the story was told in the original, it seems to have worked, but the way the story is being told in this remake doesn’t seem to work at all as a K-drama.

The writer’s efforts to portray the reality of the Korean entertainment industry were pretty weak, particularly Young-bin’s status in the industry as a young actor.

Without giving anything away, a lot of story that took place in the last 2 episodes would have been better placed either at the halfway mark of this show, or somewhere in episode 12, which would have allowed the story to go much much further.

There is little to no character development. Young-bin is such a childish, immature character. So-hee has as much personality as a cardboard standee (seriously). Kwang-soo’s character is frustrating at most times.

The bright spark is Park Jung-min’s character, Ho-jin, who was not fully utilised in terms of character developer and the actor’s capability, and of course Jo Jin-woong’s character, the bulldogged agent who admirably never gives up without a fight. Such a waste of talent.

Given the meandering story and non-drama, each episode was such a drag, I kept checking the running time while watching every episode, to check when the episode would end. Each episode was about an hour 15 minutes. Granted, this run time is not uncommon with Korean dramas, but it exacerbated the monotony and boredom I felt watching this show.

It’s a pity this show is such a flop, given how much hype there was, how much money was thrown at it, and a cast with so much star potential.

Overall, and I hate saying this, I do NOT recommend this show at all.

Finally done! So relieved! It wasn't bad, just inconsistent. Some characters I liked throughout, some just annoyed me. In order to follow the tradition of making the hero infallible, to me, said hero seemed ineffective as a leader. I just don't like the way he's portrayed. I only liked his portrayal in the last episode. I don't mind how they showed other characters but it also really annoyed me how Kaishu Katsu was portrayed.

The music theme, the less we talk about it, the better.

Costume designs looked so cheap! The production was really bad. Action and fight scenes also weren't well choreographed. It would've been okay for another story, but this is the Shinsengumi!

In the end, the main problem is the focus. So much time was wasted on stuff I didn't care about. Is it really that important to see every step of how Kondo gets himself a 2nd wife? And why spend so much time on a character like Sutesuke that not only didn't matter for us the Viewers, but also nobody else gave him any importance, all the way to the end. He was just used (in very stupid ways) to get some things to happen.

Anyways I don't regret watching it but I don't recommend it. If you want to know more about the Shinsengumi, watch samurai movies like Until the Last Sword is Drawn or Twilight Samurai.

Handsome Prince falls in love

This was an epic drama, in storyline and length. All the actors gave memorable acting performances. The costume designs were beautiful.

Poor Wei Young was targeted by every villain, who underestimated her survival skills. The Touba Jun/Wei Young romance was charming, until Tuoba Jun married Wei Young's arch-enemy #1, Changle. Arch-enemy #2, Changru, was even more dangerous and mad. Midway, the plot slowed down, and it was a great effort to keep watching Wei Young constantly being ridiculed, harrassed or tortured. My primary motivation was to see the end of the drama.

What made this epic drama effective, was the fact that 54 episodes were broadcast over a span of four weeks.
