i really love the drama so far, the main lead is a badass tat does not care about the restriciotn of rules of society, and she breaks those rules to accomplish her goals. when watching this you will be cheering on for the lad and love her character. though the music is rate pretty low bc they rarely play any music. but if u are looking for a good drama with no wishy washy annoying female lead, then this is the drama. the character is headstrong and you just love and admire her personality

This movie was so weird. For the most part it didn't make a lick of sense.

Very light on plot, the leads had no chemistry whatsoever, the acting was wooden ... at best. There were some beautiful shots, but the story went for a walk and never came back. I think the problem lies in the premise of the film - a woman randomly walks into a stranger's apartment and begins a sporadic affair with him. Each time the woman's cell phone rings she'd disappear for days then return without explanation. Baffled and unable to help his fascination with the mysterious woman, the hero takes her in each time even though he knows next to nothing about her since she flat out refuses to tell him anything meaningful about herself.

He wonders, like we do, whether she's high or just crazy due to some very bizarre and erratic behaviour. Why he falls so hopelessly, head over heels in love with her is anybody's guess. She basically leads him around like a dog on a leash and not in cute romantic way. The entire film resulted in him trying to solve the puzzle that was this woman. Problem is, though, her story wasn't interesting enough to hold my attention. In fact, I thought it was rather ridiculous.

First of all, who behaves in this way? I find both their actions so bizarre and unbelievable. A woman walks into some guy's, who she doesn't know from Adam, place and takes up residence just like that? And the hero letting this strange woman in, giving her a key to his apartment when he doesn't know if she's setting up to rob or kill him? Come on now. Who does that?

I'm sorry to say it was a waste of time. The whole thing was just very poorly developed and executed. I watch a lot of films and being a filmmaker myself I'm very lenient on how I judge other people's efforts. It takes a lot for me to completely fail a film, but this simply left a lot to be desired.

There were no redeeming qualities except that the hero was absolutely gorgeous. But if you need a little more than a pretty face to hold your attention, don't bother with this one. Not even the romantic scenes were interesting enough to carry this lacklustre romantic drama. I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

This drama is just simply fantastic!!
It hits all the right spots...whether humor,romance,emotions,action,mystery...everything.

The drama is made very beautifully with excellent cinematography. The plot is very tight and you never get a boring moment anytime. The acting by everyone is excellent.Lee Seung-ki in the titular role is so good, especially in comedy scenes,he is simply awesome.Ha Ji Won in this badass role is very good as usual. But it's Jo Jung Suk who steals the show with his powerful acting and screen presence.Lee Yoon Ji is also really good. Not to forget Yoon Je-moon as the big bad guy,he also delivers a great performance.

But it's not like the show is flawless..but they are very minute ones.

The drama has a lot of heart..which is the most important thing!!

Firs of all, I'm a big fan of Lee Jun Ki.This story doesn't do him any good.

The story itself is unique. But unique does not mean good. It becomes way boring as you continue watching. The cast is great ! I loved the characters. But... the lead role.. that character didn't suit Lee Jun Ki in my opinion. He played it well as expected, but it never can be better than any other role he played.
Actually the high score for this drama comes from the cast & for the sake of Lee Jun Ki.

I guess if I were to chose one word to describes the drama it would be: unique. Unique because there is never a dull moment, there is no part in the drama where I feel the need to skip parts, and this drama has the ability to connect with the viewers and make them feel sympathy and empathy with the characters.

The story line for the drama is something that I have never come across before. Sure, some people might think that its a typical revenge type of drama however, it isn't. There is something that is different about this drama that draws the viewers. Maybe because the actors and actresses are good? Or maybe because the people who wrote this drama were creative? Who knows all I know is that there is something original in this drama that I have never seen in other dramas before and it isn't a typical predictable story because honestly I can't even predict how this drama will end.

The acting and cast are so far the best. I am actually surprised because for once I didn't choose the drama based on the actors and actresses, I just chose it based on the summary. The cast is amazing, one because they can act well to the point where I feel as though I am experiencing all the drama from their point of view and two because they have a unique charm (in simpler terms: they are good looking xD).

The music is different from others. The sound of it gives the viewers a sense of what this drama is about bring to you. The opening music is luring its viewers, it points out that there is something that is different from the usual dramas.

For the re-watch value I would give a 10 because this drama overall is a suspenseful show. It keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats, wondering what is going to happen next because this drama isn't predictable they throw curve balls at you in every corner and this is something that hardly happens in the dramas that I have watched so far. Hopefully, the overall rating will remain a 10 until the end. Only 8 more episodes to go!~

This review may contain spoilers
Story:
it’s fun, it’s made different than the Japanese version, while I’m watching this I’m always reminded of the Manga, The stories in J & K versions were different, because the Manga was long, so each writer choose different parts of the Manga, & like always in the Korean version they cancel people or events, so it's like something new.The Korean version was more dramatic while the Japanese version was funny, The Hana Kimi story line [Girl getting in guys school] I didn’t like it to begin with -sorry this is morals and ethics just silly even to think about it- no enough self value from the lead girl. for me the end was abit silly but not bad -can't say why it will be a spoiler-.

Cast:
even thought Choi Min hoo couldn't act out all of the emotions right, I liked it, Toma got a hold of Nakatsu's character better since he wasn’t supposed to be cute, But I really love the way “Hyun Woo –Eun Gyul-” acts & talks, he’s really good and hardworking, Maki's [J version]acting didn't match the Image I had for the character at all[compared to the Manga]. I think Sulli is more suitable than Maki for the role her character is so close to the character in the Manga ... no even better.

Music:
Amazing so Addicting specially, Jmin, one, Teayeon & the sister[Jissica & Krystal].

Rewatch Value:
I won't probably watch the story, just some parts & scenes.

This drama has a lot going for it between the story and the excellent cast and it fofills it's creepy factor with the creepy shack lady lol. The is some mild humor and suspense weaved in as well I just found for so much build up in this drama I didn't truly care for the ending I felt it coulda been more os something. Don't get me wrong it's a good solid drama plot line wise I just felt the ending for me lacked a little.

This movie is totally crazy. It is about mobs and revenge. There is no sweetness at all. Once Tae Soo starts to take revenge for his twin, Tae Jin's death, it is amazing. Ji Jin Hee's character Tae Soo is an assassin, but he isn't typical. He doesn't seem to have the stealth or finesse that you usually see in a movie. He also doesn't act like he isn't in pain when he gets hurt. It is refreshingly real. The action is gruesome. If you aren't into that, then you probably won't enjoy this movie. If you are the type of person that likes revenge stories, then this is a drama that you would enjoy.

This movie shows the dregs of society. There are gangsters, organ harvesting, drugs, child abuse and violence. If you are a person that is easily shocked, then you might want to skip this movie. I loved it. Tae Sik is a character that is afraid to love. His character has many deep layers of emotion and Won Bin portrays them all very well. The little girl Kim Sae Ron who plays So Mi is perfect. I hope that she keeps it up and I get to see her in many more dramas in the future. The bad guys do a great job too. I really hated them. The actions scenes are awesome. If you like action packed movies with a touching plot, then this is definitely a movie that you should watch.

Another masterpiece form Korea!!

I saw this movie when I was in early stage of exploration Korean movies. I didn't know what to expect from this. I watched this movie when my taste of movie was changing and it contributed very much in changing my movie taste. This is my favorite love story.

Failan has a very solid story. It’s a new kind of romance/drama story. At first glance it doesn’t look like a story which can grab you next to screen for 115 minutes and sometimes it is slow but believe me it has ability to grab you for almost 2 hours. It is a realistic story and after watching this movie many people will have a question about characters’ love.

The acting and cast is excellent. This movie is equipped with super talented Choi Min-Shik and Cecilia Cheung. Both are great and gave amazing performance.

And about ending…..I won’t say whether it is sad or happy but it’s one of the best endings I’ve seen so far. It is the most beautiful ending.

I’ve to say that this movie is not for everyone because it is really slow. But if you want to see a movie that truly touches your heart then this is the movie for you. This is really a great movie and any movie lover should watch this movie at-least once. This is highly recommended movie for those who seeks a different kind of story and new type of love story.

The idea was promising, but the story irritated me. The ex-couple conflict was trying so hard to be heart-wrenching but it wasn’t poignant at all. Not one bit. Surprisingly, I was actually more interested in the development of Sang Yong and Hee Jung’s relationship though its foundation was mostly staged. To be honest, the pretty cast and impressive acting saved this one from going downhill. And while the ending was quite unpredictable for me as I didn’t know who’ll end up with who, the movie gods must have heard my prayer and thankfully, it ended the way I wanted it to.

I’m not sure if this is a must-watch or not. The plot kind of bugged me, but the acting was gorgeous. Anyway, the movie’s quite amusing so I guess it won’t hurt to watch it. Oh, and did I mention that Daniel Choi’s too adorable for words? He’s officially on my radar now.

I wasn’t originally interested in watching this just because the farming theme really wasn’t appealing. And although I like Eun Hye Unni I also didn’t know who the male lead was so I didn’t bother with it, that is until I saw Whats Up and got introduced to Oh Man Suk…

Story: The first couple episodes were really funny but once they do get to the vineyard, it kind of becomes repetitive because all they do is fight while learning to farm on the vineyard. I would have also liked to see a bit more romantic development earlier on instead of their whole relationship being squished into the last episode. I will say that it did have one of the best endings ive seen that will surely make anyone leave the drama with a smile.

Acting/Cast: If you never heard of Oh Man Suk (watch Whats Up! Now) don’t not give this a try like I did for a while. He is an underrated actor. I loved his pairing with Eun Hye(who everyone knows is a great actress). They had the perfect chemistry and they were just too cute together especially at the end. As for supporting, I really didn’t notice them.

Music: I liked it for the drama, very funky and hip for that time.

Rewatch: I wasn’t that into the story so I probably wont be watching this again but I think some people might want to.

Overall this is a light must watch for the OTP.

After watching one depressing K-movie after another, it was such a joy to stumble across Only You. It wasn't a very spectacular film by any stretch of the imagination, but I loved it for the mere fact that it wasn't some over the top, melancholic tearjerker. It turned out to be just the type of romantic drama I love to watch.

The leads were quite easy on the eyes and they had great chemistry. I loved that the heroine didn't live her life at the mercy of her condition. She was very self-sufficient, sweet and a very good balance to our broody hero.

Speaking of him, I don't think he did much acting here. Haha. He was like a big log that grunted. :) But who cares, he was hot and the way he opened up to the heroine's sweet coaxing was awesome to watch. I wish there were more scenes with the two after they decided to go steady, but I'm not gonna complain one way or the other.

This was a very sweet love story. I loved how it played out. The characters didn't have it easy, but in the end they got their happy ending. I also loved how relatable they were. The hero was just your average joe working two jobs to get by. The heroine worked at a call centre, not a luxury job by any means. They really reflected ordinary people living and loving very well. It's something you don't see often enough on screen -- as if society is overrun with corporate CEOs.

My new found addiction to Asian cinema is here to stay. There's no escaping it so I imagine there's gonna be a lot of sad dramas and movies in my future. That's why I'm glad I found this film. When I can't take the melancholia anymore at least I'll have this to turn to. I've already re-watched it twice since I first saw it. It's like balm for the wounded soul.

The story’s quite fresh. And I was really stunned at how this movie managed to incorporate various genres I never imagined would work out harmoniously. It’s surprisingly scarier than I thought it would be. Nonetheless one could still sleep peacefully despite the creepiness.

The romance was cute. And the chemistry was to die for. I really love how Son Ye Jin’s able to match up with her co-stars who are younger than her that I barely notice the age differences.

With a crazy set-up accompanied by compelling and quirky leads, this movie was able to tug my heart with just enough dosage of sweetness and pure wackiness at its best.

Started out as a pretty promising one.Had so many beautiful scenes but lost it somewhere in the middle.Came back around with a bang and touched me at the end.it sounds dreary and miserable and it is but it is the journey of turning this dreary life into a meaningful one where this movie wins heart

Moon Geun Young as a cold hearted heiress is hard to believe because she's so pretty and her face itself doesn't seem cold hearted at all yet she does her role nicely.it easy to believe how she's turned out like this in the movie
Kim u Hyuk is pretty lacklustre in the starting but at the middle redeems himself. His range of emotions wasn't there.I didnt feel much for him but he slowly grew in my heart and at the end of it,it made sense. The whole thing and how tragedic it was.To loose everything..and gain it again only to loose it again.Life is like that i supoose

It also came out with this question. What if all you loved was on the other side of the world.Would you still live to continue your existence or will you try and go to that side as well.Disturbing but gave me a satisfied closure and an end.Liked the character growth in this one.I felt what the leads felt by the end of the movie

there were many scenes that touched me and the end is good enough that im glad the directer did what he did

Watch it.maybe a few tears will be shed..but this movie is worth it plainly for those few beautiful moments between the leads and the whole meaning of it all
