Mr.Kill EP.1 Review
I really enjoyed the first episode of Mr.Kill! Honestly, I was a little worried at first since the filming process felt quite rushed, but after watching EP.1, it turned out so much better than I expected. I know it’s still too early to judge since we haven’t seen the full story yet, and I might be a little biased because I love DewTee, but i’m genuinely satisfied with how everything came together.The pacing was really good, and the cinematography, camera angles, locations, and overall atmosphere were amazing. The crime and murder scenes looked incredibly realistic that they genuinely gave me chills 😭 (which is also a compliment because it shows how well the team executed those scenes). The series has this eerie, mysterious vibe that immediately pulls you in, and I absolutely love that feeling.
One thing I really liked was how they started the episode. Instead of having a typical opening intro like many GMMTV series, they immediately brought us into the story with Kaye and the opening scene before showing the credits. It made the series feel more like a thriller or mystery film, and I was hooked from the beginning. There was no intro to skip, just straight into the atmosphere and story, which made the experience even better.
Dew’s acting as Kaye was absolutely captivating. This role is definitely challenging because portraying someone dealing with anxiety, panic, and such complex emotions is not easy, but Dew delivered it so well. You can really see how much effort he put into understanding the character. Even in scenes without dialogue, his expressions and body language said so much. His eye acting especially was INCREDIBLE. It made Kaye feel mysterious, complicated, and honestly a little unsettling in the best way.
I’m also so proud of Dew because he continues to improve with every project. Knowing that he also contributed his artwork to the series makes me appreciate his dedication even more. He’s not only an amazing actor but also someone who puts so much passion into his work.
For Tee, I can only say how proud I am of him. For his first leading role, he did an amazing job. His expressions, dialogue delivery, emotions, and the way he portrayed Phat’s personality were all so impressive. He perfectly showed the different sides of Phat being a serious police officer while also showing his warm and caring side when he was with his sister. Tee brought so much depth to the character, and you can really tell how much effort he put into this role. His acting has improved so much, and seeing his hard work pay off makes me incredibly happy. His voice, expressions, and overall presence were amazing. I’m really excited to see more of Phat’s journey.
AND OF COURSE… DEWTEE’S CHEMISTRY!!! 😭 Their chemistry is seriously insane. Every time they appear together, their dynamic is so interesting to watch. Their visuals complement each other so well, and they have this kind of presence that makes you want to see more of their interactions.
What I love about this series is that it immediately makes you curious, like who is the real serial killer? What is their motive? Why are these people being targeted? There are so many questions that make you want to keep watching. I haven’t read the novel yet, so I don’t know how the story will unfold, but i’m really excited for the twists and surprises because the story seems like it will have more layers than expected.

The storyline is damn amazing!! Their connection and plot is truly worth watching. The music.. godddd I'm loving it. Visuals were amazing tbh but the monkey guy could be a Lil more devilish or something.. cause he's cute (idk lil for me ig😅). The thing I wasn't expecting was phuwin and sea entry in the story. Solid Drama
This is a solid drama with good acting, good character development, and a believable plot. Finally.The capable woman trope is finally done well. She's not capable for the sake of impressing the audience but because she earned it. We see what she had to go through for the skills she has. They don't magically appear for because the moment needs it.
The last few episodes do drag. The momentum gets lost toward the last 20 episodes. It was okay with me, but I will admit I did lose patience and started fast forwarding through the memories or repeated scenes.
Even with that, I would suggest watching this drama. The way characters were handled make it worth any later slow down in the plot.

Such a fantastic idea, wasted on such an average execution.
It’s just like many K-dramas that begin with a unique concept and a highly promising premise, only to eventually fall back on the same old clichés.The "blind date in bed" was incredibly unique and refreshing. What I loved most was the idea of two people building a connection based solely on how they felt about each other, without outside options or love triangles getting in the way. Finally, a dating show that wasn't treating romance like online shopping. I was hooked.
The so-called "isolated romance" turned out to be about as isolated as a group project. The chip giving segment was just another recycled confession activity we've seen a hundred times before, and suddenly all that originality collapsed. The show traded its biggest strength for the safest, most predictable formula.
The biggest disappointment in isolated romance, was the chemistry or rather, the complete lack of it. there were almost no heart-fluttering moments. No lingering eye contact, no butterflies, no unforgettable conversations that made you root for anyone. The only heart fluttering moment I remember was Hyun Ji holding Si-hyun’s hand after they’ve just met, that was out of the blue and exciting. The premise did all the heavy lifting while the participants barely met it halfway. The end couple was even more insane and not in a good way !! Like are you kidding me !
Still I am curious what lab experiment that will bring next! Will the bring something genuinely new or will recycle old cliches!!

just okayish watch
Well, it's a good watch, that's it.I feel like it's based on Rusalka (a Slavic folklore figure). She's described as the spirit of a young woman who died tragically, especially by drowning. If someone follows her... she lures them into the water.
When I started watching, it just felt okay-ish, and the ending was also just okay-ish. I don't know why horror shows keep doing open endings. If they're planning a second season, then sure, it makes sense. If not, I really don't get it.
That being said, I was never actually bored. It's a pretty good watch. It has that classic horror vibe people making the dumbest decisions imaginable, creepy atmosphere, eerie background music.
Honestly, it's not that scary. Half the horror comes from the sound effects doing all the heavy lifting. 😭 I wanna know why people in these types of movies are always so dumb 😭 while the main characters are somehow both terrified but super smart.
Overall, it's a fun watch if you're into supernatural horror. Nothing groundbreaking, but I don't regret watching it.

IDK how to even express myself after this mastpiece of a show. I went from cheering, dreading uncovered secrets, fear, praying they would just let each other go, and then finally peace and happiness that they were able to fall into place after they each grew up and worked on themselves. One needed to learn to love himself and the other how to love others. It's a story about *how* to love. Regret, remorse, love, and lust are all big themes and of course, BL time. I think the turning point for Fan Xiao was when he pressed the send button for the whistleblower information. He knew he needed to be punished and didnt want Hao Yiran to have to live with making the decision to send him to prison. Hao Yirens turning point came when he chose not to be alone and adopted Tian Tian. He started veering towards his self-redemption when he abandoned his worthless brother who only saw him as an ATM. I love that they adopted the kid at the end and that they both worked through their issues. Everything came full circle.Was this review helpful to you?

I went into Jack & Joker expecting a fun action BL, but I ended up getting so much more. It had the perfect mix of action, comedy, romance, and emotional moments, and I was hooked the whole way through.The biggest standout for me was War. His acting was honestly on another level. Every emotional scene felt so real, and he conveyed so much without even saying a word. He completely disappeared into Joker's character, and I couldn't look away whenever he was on screen.
Yin and War's chemistry was exactly what I hoped for. They balanced the lighter moments with the heavier ones so naturally, and it made me root for them even more.
The special episode absolutely destroyed me. I genuinely wasn't prepared for Joker's death, and I just sat there staring at my screen wondering why they would do that to us. Then the post-credit scene happened... and seeing that he was actually alive made me lose my mind all over again. I went from heartbroken to relieved in the span of a few minutes.
The performances, the chemistry, and the emotional payoff made it such an unforgettable watch. And War? Yeah... he absolutely owned this role.

Still My Comfort Drama After All These Years
It's honestly crazy to think it's been years since I first watched *Bad Buddy*. This was my very first BL, and even after watching so many others since then, it still has a special place in my heart.Looking back, I can see why it became my comfort drama. Pat and Pran's relationship felt so genuine that I couldn't help but root for them. Their chemistry was effortless, and they made even the smallest moments feel meaningful. Whenever I think about this series, it just brings me a sense of comfort and nostalgia.
Sure, I've watched BLs with bigger budgets, more intense stories, or higher stakes since then, but *Bad Buddy* has something that's hard to replace. It has so much heart, and that's what makes it so memorable to me.
It'll always be the series that introduced me to BL, and no matter how many dramas I watch, I don't think it'll ever lose that special place. Some stories are just impossible to move on from, and for me, this is one of them.

Ticket to Heaven is one of the most emotionally powerful BLs I've watched. It doesn't rely on typical romance tropes instead, it tells a deeply personal story about faith, identity, grief, and love. The relationship between Tanrak and Barth develops naturally, making every emotional moment feel genuine and meaningful.Gemini and Fourth deliver some of their strongest performances to date. Their chemistry is subtle yet incredibly moving, and they capture the characters' inner conflicts with remarkable depth.
What impressed me most is how the series handles difficult themes with care. Rather than presenting simple answers, it explores the struggle between personal beliefs and the courage to accept yourself. It's a story that stays with you long after the final episode.
Ticket to Heaven isn't just another BL—it's a beautifully crafted coming-of-age drama that happens to center on a queer love story. It's thoughtful, heartbreaking, hopeful, and easily one of the standout BL series of the year.

This BL was one of those cute stories. It definitely wasn’t rushed, and while it didn’t have too many intriguing moments, it honestly felt like an 8‑episode alcohol advertisement disguised as a BL serie.I enjoyed their chemistry, they looked good together, but the kiss scenes were anything but real. Where was the passion? What really bothered me was how poorly constructed and inconsistent the plot was, It seemed to want to be a food drama, but the food aspect wasn’t enough to compensate the huge promotion of alcoholic beverages. Ji Yu and his friend needs to be sent to AA lol
Overall, it was pretty enjoyable, even though the whole thing felt like a liquor ad.
What I Liked
*Story simplicity: Easy to follow, not overloaded with unnecessary drama.
*Pacing: The progression from strangers to lovers felt natural, not rushed, not dragged out.
*Food and culture: I love BLs that showcase their country’s culture and cuisine, and this one had plenty of that, but unfortunately offset by the alcohol thing.
*Attractive cast: Good‑looking leads, and Korea never disappoints in this department.
*Soft humor: Light jokes sprinkled throughout made it worth watching.
What I Did Not Like
*Alcohol‑heavy script: It felt like a 8 chapters long alcohol ad. Ji Yu and his friend seemed to need drinks with every meal, which came across as extremely unhealthy and unnecessary to promote.
*Weak ending: Beginnings and endings matter most, and this series dropped the ball on both. The start was confusing, and the ending was way too flat.
Did I regret watching it? Not at all.
Would I watch it again? Nope. The alcohol vibe killed the rewatch value for me.

Hands down the best GL of 2026
If you want some nice RomCom GL, this is a must-watch. I usually dislike Thai romcom because they can be quite cringe but this one is a real solid 10/10 on acting, production, good storyline, visually appealing.JanJingJing acting are really really good and believable, they have embodied their characters so well. You can feel that you've entered their world. Super cute and fun that you just want more and more! The OST is so GOOOOOOD! It's super fitting and addicting that you really going to enjoy it a lot especially after you see their performance.

The series of the year
Without spoilers, all I need to say after having finished the series is that it is a masterpiece. From the amazing soundtrack, having five great original songs, to the acting being phenomenal, the story handling important topics the way they should be handled, the way it shows a real- life relationship that is so relatable, and lastly, the undeniable chemistry between Jan and JingJing... That is it, that is the review. I do not need to say much because the series speaks on its own. Simply put, it would be the definition of perfection if perfection existed. I do not want to spoil stuff about the story, but I do need to mention how beautiful, emotional, and pure Lal's and Wine's relationship is. The way you can notice in their eyes how much they love and care for each other, the fact that they are both mature enough to realize when they have made mistakes, and therefore apologize to each other, the way they always try to communicate, and the fact that their love for each other was never the problem, it was the outside world that, with their misoginy ended up making it harder for them to be together, but them fighting through it and choosing themselves and each other in the end, is what makes this series so spectacular.Was this review helpful to you?
TIDE OF LOVE S2 - REVIEW
Story: Tide of Love Season 2 delivers a slight improvement over its predecessor by providing long-awaited context for Haejun's past and explaining why he resorted to contractual relationships. This added layer of character development gave the story more emotional grounding and addressed one of Season 1's biggest shortcomings.However, despite this improvement, the overall narrative still lacked the depth needed to be truly compelling. Several storylines felt incomplete, most notably the unresolved situation involving Jaehun's mother and the strained relationship between them, which had the potential to add greater emotional weight but was left largely unexplored. The introduction of new characters brought a fresh dynamic to the series, yet they were not developed enough to leave a lasting impression or significantly strengthen the plot.
One aspect that noticeably elevated the season was its visual setting. Filming during the winter season added a refreshing atmosphere and gave the series a more cinematic feel. The snowy landscapes and outdoor locations provided welcome variety, moving beyond the repetitive indoor settings of the decorated house and sake bar that dominated the first season. While Season 2 offered more context and a more appealing visual backdrop, its underdeveloped subplots and lack of narrative impact ultimately prevented it from reaching its full potential.
Acting/Cast: The acting in Tide of Love Season 2 remained a mixed but generally solid aspect of the series. Jung Myeong Cheol once again delivered the stronger performance, fully committing to his character's emotional complexity and domineering personality. His most impressive asset was his expressive eyes, which conveyed vulnerability, anger, longing, and affection with remarkable conviction. Even in quieter scenes, he was able to communicate emotions that elevated the material beyond what was written on the page.
In contrast, Kim Hyeon Seo's performance continued to feel restrained. While his reserved demeanor suited certain moments, there were several emotionally charged scenes where a stronger reaction was needed. During confrontations—particularly when his character was berated and humiliated by Myeong Cheol's character—his responses often came across as too passive or emotionally detached. Instead of matching the intensity of the moment, his performance felt understated to the point of diminishing the dramatic impact.
The supporting cast also delivered uneven performances. One of the new characters convincingly embraced the antagonist role with enough presence to make the conflict engaging, while another struggled to bring emotional depth to the role, resulting in monologues that felt flat and lacked the necessary intensity.
Despite these inconsistencies, the season concluded on a high note. The final episode, where the two leads openly expressed their love for one another, showcased some of the strongest acting in the series. It was a heartfelt and emotionally satisfying conclusion that highlighted the chemistry between the protagonists and provided a beautiful ending to an otherwise average series.
Music: The soundtrack in Tide of Love Season 2 effectively embraced its winter setting, with its Christmas-inspired music adding warmth and charm to many of the scenes. Rewatch Value: Tide of Love Season 2 has a higher rewatch value than the first season, but it's still not a series I'd revisit in its entirety. There are several scenes I'd likely skip because they feel mediocre, overly contrived, or fail to add much to the overall narrative. The inconsistent pacing and underdeveloped subplots make a full rewatch less engaging than it could have been.
That said, the final episode is absolutely worth revisiting. The heartfelt confession and emotional resolution between the two leads deliver the romantic payoff the series had been building toward, making it the season's strongest and most memorable chapter. It's the one episode that genuinely captures the butterflies and emotional satisfaction expected from a romance.
Overall, I prefer Season 2 over Season 1 because of its improved storytelling, stronger emotional moments, and more polished presentation. However, despite these improvements, the series as a whole still lacks the narrative consistency and emotional grip needed to make every episode an easy or compelling rewatch.
