POETIC JUSTICE ,DELIVERED BY A RESILIENT HEROINE
If not that we are in the world of fantasy, i would have made you yhe keepers of justice! Ley me just give all the cast a Kudos you truely deserve, all the cast here they truely did amezing job the acting is high level and they convincingly portrayed their characters as perfect can go.I know that (after reading comments) some are complaining about the age gap ,to my surprise i didn't even notice that detail til i read comments , the FL actress is a good choice given how her character is written, kind of puzzled why is that a problem if her co
-star is younger? (Maybe it has a significance in Chinese culture)
And i also notice that the complaint about chemistry between the leads ,some saying it was not enough, i truely believe that it was well played on that part, given that the character of Xue Fang /Jiang Li is written, she come from : betrayal, from someone she loved deeply and she lost her dignity (the rape case) i think for her to carefully and slowly romantically approach to Duke Su is right.
For those who are complexed by The ex husband Shen You Long i couldn't find a way of feeling anything either for hom,i understand those who can feel sympathy maybe because of circumstance wich brought him to become who he become, but putting the whole blame of that psycho princess will not be right, the man chose to kill his wife,he become unhappy because of his choice he is solely to blame and Im glad they both ended up like that. The poetic justice in all this is that He lost all the happiness the minute he killed the person who loved him the most, and he killed the princess, to avenge the person he become desperately obsessed with after killing her. The princess ordered him to kill to obtain the love from him ,the love she never got no matter what she coul do or give him.
The tragic scene of Shen You Long ,carrying Xue and the princess downthe stairs looking at them is the poetic tragedy, and a grimm tale ,that nothing can buy love.
This is my take on this amezing series, the writers you did well , this willstat with me.

So overhyped
Things I liked1 The premise. I don't mind repetitive themes and this one talked to me although it reminded me of Hallmark movies which I hate. It never delivered.
2 The ML. At first I loved him, the character and the actor. But then he fell in love with a stupid, mean, ugly person outside and inside and I lost every goodwill I had. Still, the actor did a good job.
Things I disliked
1 Most of the residents. Sad, unoriginal stories that one could come up while doing a million other things at the same time. No brain required. I don't think I found one who talked to me and for whom I cared. At first yes, but as the drama unfurled, my feelings changed for all of them. Obnoxious, nosy characters who think know better.
Things I hated
1 Usually I leave long reviews whether I like or dislike a drama, but this time I feel like it would be a waste of my time to honor this stupid drama with my detailed thoughts. So I'll just say that I hated the FL, he character and the acting. Now it's established that I think of her as an ugly actress, who looks ten years older, and has not the slightest talent. She always comes out as a mean, egotistical, know-it-all person who is never sympathetic. I made the mistake to start 3 series with her and I finished them, thank god, so I'll never have to see her again. Her only talent is to ruin every series she appears. It may sound harsh, but my gut tells me that the ugliness she infuses in her roles is her true self. I'm not sure what others see in her, but to each their own. The 3 is only for the ML. Otherwise it would be -20.
2 The title. Who the heck think of that atrocious title?

Nothing Burger of a show
I feel like the script writers did not know what they were trying to say in this series. It has so many directions in the plot and nothing truly develops into a fruit for the viewer to eat at the end. Acting saved it for sure, shin hae sun and lee jun hyuk did a stellar job not even surprised. The writer really wanted the main character to have a trump card in every single choice and it just bends whenever the lead needs it to for the lead to pull of the big con. The lead has the same old cheesy lines to justify themselves doing horrible things like bruh we get it so corny. Was this review helpful to you?
A Masterclass in Artistry, Acting, & Aesthetics
It is also a study in human ugliness. It is a story of how like-minded individuals, a hive mind if you will, (you will understand the reference) are all pawns to their worst instincts. In other words. The protagonists are the antagonists as well. Each has succumbed to their lowest common dominator which ironically is at the core of what made them successful. Is this counterintuitive? Oxymoronic? Yes, to both. This series is a masterclass in artistry, acting, and aesthetics. It is also a study in human ugliness. Yes, to both. These protagonists died emotionally a long time ago. They are only existing in the realm of trying to connect to one another simply to survive and get ahead. All three stopped living a long time ago. There is such emotional realism with moments of tenderness that you knew were not genuine. All of them were so broken they were incapable of feeling anything even close to concepts called compassion or sincerity and therefore love. This is not a BL; it does not even come close to any definition of love. Kudos for making, producing, and acting in this one-of-a-kind dynamic series. One of my early choices for best series for 2026.Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful!
This is a very beautiful drama about how love can grow between two people who are complete opposits. The plain, somewhat creepy, obsessed boy who connects with a beautiful but arrogant and rude boy.
It has beautiful visuals and the music is good.
The actors did a great job and their chemistry is amazing!!
Definatly one to watch!

One of the best high school dramas
Things I adored1 The friendship between the three main characters. So heartwarming and natural, it felt like it was real.
2 The ML. Such a great and developed character and also the actor did a great job. He was funny and deep and reminded me of the years we all had to deal with family and friends and goals and we struggled until things became clear, well clear-ish. I will definitely check his other dramas.
3 The 2ML. What a natural and great actor. Both ML are handsome in such a natural way you want to hug them and you wish for them to be happy. His character was also well done and I will check his other dramas.
4 The last episode. I loved the old self-new self discussions. It was sad, moving and so real. I cried a lot and my heart still aches when I think about it. It reminded of my life of what we were and what we become and that there's no way to script your life. You have to accept that you may not have a choice, that you'll lose people, that you'll lose and find your way several times. So many things resurfaced when I watched this episode.
Things I loved
1 The parents. They were so believable it made me sad, happy, like they were my parents and I were an adolescent trying to make sense of family and life.
Things I liked
1 The FL. At first I loved her, but in the end it felt like she had great chemistry with both ML as a friend, but I didn't feel the chemistry as strong when it came to her relationship with the ML. Maybe it's just me, though. Her character was lovable and believable, I can't say the opposite, but maybe I missed something to make her my favorite. I won't look for other dramas from her although I won't discard one either if she plays a role.
2 The 2FL. Others didn't like her and I get why. But to me she was a complex character and she reminded me of some people I know. They aren't evil, they are great people, but they didn't have the chance to be themselves and had to fight to become their true self and while doing this they made mistakes and ruined relationships.
Things I disliked
1 The ending for the second couple. it was realistic, sure, but it was also sad in a way. I didn't want to be sad I wanted them to overcome their problems and be together.
2 The relationship of the 2ML with his new girlfriend. She wasn't the problem. The problem was that I wasn't invested in their relationship and it was like it was there to have a proper ending for all of them. It made me sad and I cried. Something fell off.

Enemies to Lovers and Slow Burn
Everything was 99% perfectly done. There are minor flaws here and there but they are not even worth mentioning. I laughed, smiled, bit my pillow, and cried so hard. Tons of kudos to every single performance. Cast is just too good. LYN, I owe you an apology. SZE, I wasnt familiar with your game. Both are phenomenal. Its quite hard for me to form words of conclusion as I just completed the drama just now but srsly go watch it or go rewatch it. I hope this drama wins every award on earth. Was this review helpful to you?

Superb acting & chemistry between the leads + heartfelt drama
It was early January 2026 and I missed watching Guo Yu Xin dramas. I remember this drama in my watchlist so I watched and OMG loved it! It was warm & heartfelt. What I liked:
1. Acting - Guo Yu Xin and Liu Hao Qun were spectacular. They matched each other's acting prowess and intensity. Palpable chemistry between the two.
2. Romance - They took their time and once they kissed, damn they were on fire. I loved that they were affectionate with each other. I could "see" love for each other in their eyes. They had each other's back.
3. FL characterisation - She was victim of abuse & manipulation and later sought protection from ML. She grew strong and confident as she lived with ML and his family. Compassionate & kind.
4. ML characterisation - He seemed sketchy at first with his gang members but he was very kind towards FL, his brother and his best friend. I liked his protectiveness.
5. Supporting characters - I loved ML's younger siblings, best friend and his kid.
6. Kindness - Acts of kindness and compassion were demonstrated in a few scenes. Those were heartfelt.
7. Styling - I loved the outfits worn by FL & ML. The red cardigan /jacket was pretty.
What I liked:
1. Antagonists - I didn't like FL's relatives for their bad treatment towards FL. I also didn't like ML's stepmother at first but she redeemed herself.
Favourite scene

Magical romance drama with high rewatch value
I will never stop raving about this drama. I’ve watched this show 4 times and it gets me excited each time. Needless to say, the leads have sizzling chemistry and they are just fabulous actors. Not a hint of aversion to each other- just pure love and buzzing with chemistry. It’s so rare to see leads in a kdrama who don’t look uncomfortable when it comes to skinship and these two are it! They sold us on their romance big time. It’s unbelievable that this was KJW’s first ever rom-com because he was born for this genre. As much as the story fizzled out towards the end, this drama will always have a special place as the leads shined more than anything and that is all you need to make a rom-com successful. Was this review helpful to you?

A Gold Thriller, but Actually Dung!
Now I understand why people gave bad ratings to this show. This show is a gold and sh*t at the same time. The story tells about a girl who took a fake identity of Sarah Kim. She used such identity to build a luxury brand by conning a lot of people, including a loan shark, an investor, a hostess, a sick-wealthy man, a luxury department store owner, her own store sales agent, and a lot of VIP customers because her luxury brand was not luxury. She conned everyone meticulously by using another fake identities, and threatened them with their own secrets. She made them unable to report her (and it was pointless to report either since her identity was fake), and even unable to let the world know that she had conned them. How come a series of con became so much success? Because all of the victims fall into the same pit: DESPERATION. The name of her brand spread quickly and successfully made other people jealous, putting her into a point where a con tried to become her fake. So now there is a fake of a fake person. And after that you'll begin to question: among all those frauds, which one was done by the fake and which one was by the "fake of the fake"? I also began to question: if these all are cons, then maybe they weren't cons but business? Then all of her confessions, were they all a con too? What if actually Kim Mi Jeong who made the confessions? What if it was actually Mok Seol Hui? What if Kim Mi Jeong was actually never exist, and she made it all so Sarah Kim could die and Mi Jeong could take all the blame? While all of the story above are really convincing materials for a thriller, this type of story needs to be written very very meticulously. They tried to pull a mindblowing plot, but unfortunately the number of plot holes are too much here. Park Mu Gyeong found out her suicide was fake through some phrases referring to luxury brand taglines in her suicide note, why the hell she had to left hint? Also the remains of a man that found in the suicide scene, who's that? The polaroid of a couple; I think it was her and Seong Sin, why Ji Hwon name was written in the back? Then about Sarah Kim in a crutches at the police station front, in what part of timeline was that and what was that? When she said she is Kim Mi Jeong, why didn't they check the surgery scar? More importantly, throughout the show I think the police were all too one dimensional and frustrating. They were too certain of something unclear, and later trusted her confession too much. How could they trust a con after she said she was actually Kim Mi Jeong? It feels like the police let Sarah dictate the investigation. In the end, they tried to make us pity Sarah, but failed to do so.
Shin Hye Sun is a bit overkill for this show. I thought they were going to explore the fragile side of Sarah Kim, why she did all the con, etc but they didn't. She played excellently as a jerk villain, but I feel she isn't jerk enough. Lee Jun Hyuk and other talents are a bit wasted here as the story focused too much on Sarah Kim.
This show highlighted a harsh reality about a luxurious culture, the fake and superficial live. Everyone tries to pay at any price for a prestige. It doesn't matter if it's a fake, as long as it can amaze others. And when it comes someone who steal more eyes from them, they will always try to win it back, no matter how. This theme is very comparable to a show from the same production 3 years ago: Celebrity. It has same elements: fake luxurious life, con,, and murder. That's why people will compare it directly to it.
The ending lets us decide which part of the story is true and which part isn't, and which identity of Sarah Kim survived. The pace of this show is extremely fast. Very intriguing and quick, but maybe not enough for a rewatch.

mediocre rom com
For a webtoon remake I was expecting a lot better. The positive reviews online were so baffling to me as I just couldn’t enjoy it the way I wanted. This was the most anticipated rom-com of 2026. Perfectly cast leads with a lovely backdrop and a solid webtoon to go off on. What could possibly go wrong right? From the first episode there was a lot of telling rather than showing. The characters were very undercooked and the leads didn’t have those scenes that got me giddy with excitement. As the episodes kept going I finally accepted that this show wasn’t going to get any better and I had to accept it for what it was. Lazy romance writing with comedy that felt stale all thanks to the directing and music choices in some scenes. sigh.. the potential for what this could have been hurts more than anything. Was this review helpful to you?

Insane chemistry and face cards
Two of the most prettiest chinese actors starring in one drama. Of course I wouldn't miss seeing this one.The chemistry is insane. Sparks fly every time the leads are together in one frame. I find myself blushing every time. What I love about them is that they don't hold back with the skinship and not just the typical lips barely touching each other. Boy oh boy these two know how to kiss. They are both so hot for this! The acting of the casts is so good, and the dynamic between the leads and the supporting characters is so fun to watch. The costumes and the hair are also so pretty on them. Everything is so pretty.
My only problem is the inconsistency of the plot. Sometimes I have to just turn off my brain in order to get through the episodes. For example, Ming Yi (female lead) is the warrior goddess but her fight scenes are clearly lackluster. It's as if she's been nerfed. The characters are also frustrating sometimes because of their decisions. I hate the misunderstanding trope the most so it's torture for me since the premise of the drama is about a misunderstanding The villains' motives are so shallow that I find myself often scratching my head. I do believe they are so poorly written that I don't feel a single sadness for them when they met their end.
HOWEVER, the drama redeemed itself when they gave a full on happy ending, instead of just an open ending or just merely a 5-minute happy ending scene. I know I know the bar is low. But you have to understand this is extremely rare for a xianxia drama, and I hope and pray to see more chinese dramas with a happy ending.

Great story , amazing acting..
The script of "Idol I" is so impressive, so detailed and well-written, that it really scares you. The truths that are captured in a series of twelve episodes shock you deeply.. It perfectly describes the sick relationship between artist and fan, and Kim Jae-young's amazing performance as Do Ra Ik, a famous singer whose health has been shaken by all this pressure he receives from people who call their obsessions "fan clubs" so inevitably touches you..I always liked this actor because he "plays" a lot with his eyes. His style is so sad like a lost puppy that you want to hug and protect him... Actress Choi Soo Young as Maeng Se Na, as a lawyer and fanatical fan of Do Ra Ik, gives an acting recital, as the ideal person who can manage and protect a quirky and sensitive personality like Do Ra Ik, as she gives him calm, love and "space" without pressuring him, so that he can breathe off stage.. Their chemistry is a given, as are the moments of tension and interaction between them..The rest of the cast gave their best and passed successfully.. The OST are impressive, the direction is perfectly ..
This story teaches many lessons..Artists are people like all of us, with weaknesses and flaws..What they do is their job and we love them for it, but there has to be a limit and red lines...They don't owe us anything for enduring the abuse of some who, calling themselves "fans", make them suffer...

Hilarious
A funny, simple family comedy worth watching. If you just want to laugh out loud, relax, this is the series. With some of the most famous Chinese actors, they developed the funniest characters.Like many C-dramas, the first half is very funny and then the 2nd half of the series becomes a drama, but I have to say a well done drama.
