This drama takes a simple plot and layers it with the complexity of emotions that are so well done, you can feel the passion and pain of the characters. Overall, it is a serious, suspenseful, romantic, historical drama. This drama is short, but the ending didn't seem rushed, it played out naturally. I personally did not like some of the camera work, or exaggerated wire acrobatics, and that is why I downgraded it to an 8.

One of the best Korean dramas that I have ever watched.

Heartbreaking and exciting all at once. The plot was quite well written and there was good acting all across, but to me, Lee Seo Jin and Kim Min Joon, the 2 male leads, stole the show with their heartfelt acting.

The only drawback was the shoddy action sequences. The aerial flying was a bit amateurish but the plot and the dialogue read more and the characters itself are all so riveting, that the action choreography doesn't matter.

Highly recommended.

why does this have such low rating? Everything seems great..except that it's from 2003 but so is DJG.

Often times when I watch dramas I laugh at times when you're really not supposed to laugh. You know, when it's supposed to be superserious but they overdid it or fucked it up somehow and just made it ridiculous instead. So far I've only watched one episode of this... and I freakin laughed so hard I cried. And this drama's got the most unintentionally funny soundtrack I've ever heard. Let's hope I can get over this HORRIBLE soundtrack and continue to watch, cause it seems like it might turn out to be a rather ok drama.

I kinda understand you, some scenes are so pathetic that the only thing left for the viewer to do is to laugh out loud to keep his/her sanity. But still, I quite like this drama, it's nothing outstanding, only ok if you're willing to overlook some aspects and don't take it too seriously.
And as for the "Damo!" ending... yup. My reaction exactly.

Well, I tried liking it but after 3 eps I kinda felt like "noo..." so I dropped it ^^
Usually I can overlook alot of things but even if I were to overlook all the ridiculousness in this drama I think I still wouldn't like it. It wasn't really my cup of tea.
