So at first I had my doubts about this drama because I half expected it to only promote outside beauty and you that you can only find happiness if you're pretty. I was pleasantly surprised however, that it was more about learning how to accept yourself, overcome obstacles using your own strength, and standing up to your fears. The romance in this was beautiful and I liked how the writer emphasized the read more two leads finding strength in each other.

plot: So the plot was brilliant. I loved the whole revenge vendetta thing. It kept you glued to the screen waiting to see what big revelation would be unspun next or whose dirty secrets would be revealed. I especially loved the chemistry between the two leads. They made the cutest revenge duo ever. They had so many cute moments together I often found myself laughing out loud and simply grinning from ear to ear as I watched their ridiculous yet heart warming encounters. They made you really want to cheer them on as they struggled and overcame their obstacles together.

characters/actors: First of all, I just want to say, the female lead was gorgeous. I didn't find it hard to believe at all when everyone was calling her a beauty. I also found the female lead before she got plastic surgery adorable in her own way and thought she was a brilliant actress. I loved how the female lead was strong and could handle herself and that she even had the desire and ambition to grow strong and independent so that she could take on her challenges without having to burden anyone else. She wasn't whiny or needy which sometimes happens in dramas so I didn't find myself overly annoyed with her. As for the male lead, all I can say is he was amazing. I loved his and the female lead's adorable little conversations and found their witty banter charming. I especially loved the compliment game.

music: the music was really good. Nothing really caught my attention or stood out but it was appropriate and suited the drama very well. The instrumentals for the super intense/crap just got real scenes were amazing and really built up the intense mood.

overall, I'd say this drama is a must watch! Although i'm still kind of waiting for that very late apology from that grandma (you'll know it when you watch it and then you'll be waiting too) but other than that, it was a beautiful drama about finding yourself and overcoming your obstacles as well as delivering the much deserved justice to a bunch of douchehogs who need to take a few years off to rediscover their humanity.

So unlike other reviewers I actually didn't like the beginning. It was a little to weird- would have liked it better if we had just known who she was from the start. I think it would have made more sense. I really did not like the 1st episode. In the middle of the series I loved her talking to her old self in the refection. I love the actor who played Sa read more Geum Ran (Ha Jae Sook) and I liked that we still got to see her. I also liked that they did not change her personality they kind of kept her the same.

What I didn't like was how complicated the simple revenge plot kept getting. She just needed to seek revenge I don't know why people had to go back and forth about what they knew about each other. Near the end It should have built more on what they wanted than to add in the "running away" not running away filler.

What I disliked the most was that everyone seemed Repulsed by Sa Geum Ran, I wish, especially with Han Tae Hee that he would not have been repulsed by her in her "original" form.

Over all though I actually thought it was a pretty good drama overall. Fun, cute and even a little intriguing. The acting was very good, loved and hated almost all the characters. The story had weak points that needed some filler, but it wrapped up well.

I couldn't finish the first episide I already had doubts about this from the title itself. Apparently the theme changes but just watching how "unattractive" people are treated its beyond ridiculous. I've seen documentaries about this so sad one cannot stay they way they were born the pressure to have certain proportions is just damaging.

Clearly, I dropped the drama for the same exact reason. The only thing I would applaude is that they didn't disguise a skinny woman, making her look anything but human with fake fat parts here and there. This drama show how immature TV and entertainment can be. I was feeling sick to my stomach when after the plastic surgery every stranger or so praises miss fake beauty especially her strawberry face-like, ridiculous at the very least.

How is it ridiculous? I'm pretty sure it's common in most societies - not just Korean - to favor people who are classically attractive and look down on those who aren't. While this drama may have overdone that aspect a bit, it is something that literally happens in everyday life. I see no fault in the drama for portraying this, and as an aside, I would argue that the theme of the entirety of the drama is how beauty skews our perception.

What I found ridiculous is how they'd rather acknowledge fake plastic beauty like if it was no big deal!! I'm not that naïve and I know for sure that good looking people attract more, I'm not even debating on that. But why can't they show that you can also be appealing by simply doing a makeover and not necessarily a complete facelift. The way they always associate chubby people with clumsiness or ugliness is way beyond tolerable and discriminating. I see that enough in real life to just sit still and keep watching it on television.

It's a good drama, but not the best. It's not that captivating like other dramas I've watched...
But Han Ye Seul still is the best! <3

A really strong start, I love the story line and the chemistry of the main leads together, I'm only on ep 6 though, based on what everyone says it gets draggy near the end...but I'll be back after I finish to comment on my thoughts

i regret watching this series... the first half was kind of cute, but the rest was hard to get through. honestly, i only finished watching it because it would've bugged me to no ends to have dropped it. the story is a mess, full of holes and horrible writing. i barely laughed through the whole series, including the first half. i don't recommend it.

Just finished this! The first half is amazingly funny and cute, I laughed so hard and totally fell in love with the male lead. The second half of the drama...well, it gets darker and darker. It was no longer the romcom I enjoyed, it turned into a really annoying melodrama lol. There were like 5 episodes where I was so pissed off I literally started biting my iPad while tossing around in bed and I haven't hated a female antagonist so much since Hong Se Na in Rooftop Prince-- I dare say this one surpasses her by far. Joo Sang Wook is so gorgeous :)

Great chemistry between lead-actors!! Although all 5 of them were really good. First 5 episodes were so funny, I couldn't stop laughing. To the first half of drama it was great show, but further hmm...something cracked, maybe to many plots and all story became little chaotic. Still I spent really good time watching this, so 8/10

Tae Hee and Sara were super cute together - like adorably cute. Anyone get distracted by the elf ears on the husband though???

Oh my goodness, I was just complaining to my wife about that guy's ears yesterday. And I was about to comment that JSW and HYS have insane chemistry together, but you stole that comment, too. Seriously, they might have more chemistry between the two of them than almost any other couple I have seen in kdrama, and I've only seen 4 episodes.
