The story is a ten because it is a remake. The cast .....as the series progressed I thought to myself, others could have done better. The music was so - and -so doesn't give you LSS feels and the rewatch- nope I am not gonna watch this, I would rather watch the lengthy Goong than this.

This had a promising start but this drama turned out to be a disappointment. It was read more such a waste because it was obvious that they had spent a great deal of money for the production. I managed to watch the first few episodes with much expectation but as the series progressed I couldn't watch any further. At times I did try to pick it up but it just got too stale for my taste. As a remake it was a complete disappointment. Most of the weight of its failure went to the actors and how the plot was executed. The original Korean showed character depth and development, but here the series is almost done but still they act like a bunch of elementary kids. I am also uncertain if there was a non kissing clause in the main female lead's contract but if it turns out to be true then it is a disappointment. There are some drama that have no kissing scenes but still managed to deliver but this one just went around the bush, it is not even a push and pull. This drama failed me so much, It failed as a romance genre because the main leads are just too cringy to watch with all those fake kisses. The villains are just plainly annoying. This drama will go into the archives that I assure you. Hey it is just my opinion.

so far (14/20).... it's quite similar to the Korean version, with of course, it's original twists...

I've read some of the Goong manhwa, and I wont complain and say the Prince (Inn) is just the same jerk as Goong (both the manhwa and the Korean adaptation) .. he kinda HAS to be in order to stick to the original manhwa...

but I will say... its cute, it has it's nice moments, and read more the evil Queen (holy guac, that lady should be asked to play a Disney villain) she's so great for the part.. but doesn't fit in with the rest of the characters... her acting stands out the most, it's too forced, and too wicked, not to mention her makeup always looks flawless!

Other than this observation.. I have found the series so far.. (14/20) to be kinda super extremely slow pace, but maybe I'm not being patient enough.

Basically a remake but in Thai !

All the characters are interesting ! love the triangle in PH Thai
Recommended by shikyu
Both contain a similar plot : one girl who became princess within a couple of weeks !

In My princess she is the real princess in Princess Hour ( Thai) she "have" to marry the prince !

Both are funny and some good romance :D

and Tao's face not fierce enough as Ji Hoon's face, need more emotion on his face when the accident scenes happened, Tao is really careful with his face, he's aware that he has a cutie-pie face. I hope he could do better.

He did wonderfully in kiss me thai version..i was really excited to see him as prince inn!! But yes..i guess he need more emotions.. and also pattie is kind of overacting.. so it will make tao and nakhun guy sewm too bland..but i liked the girl who is dping minnie's role

I finally decided to drop the drama. The best thing about watching Princess Hours Thai is that the subs come out within 24 hours, but that's about it. I consider this drama unwatchable. I don't think the Korean cast had much experience, and when I reviewed the original again I thought they were pretty bad acting wise. However, my problem with the Thai remake lies with both the acting and the pace. I complained about the pace in a previous comment, and now I realise that the problem isn't going to resolve by itself. I mean, have you seen a drama where nothing goes on for the entire episode save some (forced) skinship between the lead couple and on top of that their chemistry isn't anything to shout about either? I was looking forward to the sweet moments but they turned out to be so meh. I think even the MVs are more entertaining. Well, at least I've got a couple of Thai dramas under my belt while trying to get use to the language.

On a side note, I strongly recommend Meuan Khon La Faak Fah which is currently airing. It's being subbed on YouTube (SJDK Fan Sub) as well.

Kiss Asian doesn't sub any videos. They take them from other websites. You have to be careful there is malware often attached to that website.

Aom and Mike, definitely are the master of remake k-Drama. Why the producer didn't let them do the play, I wonder.... (still have the goosebumps from Fullhouse and Kiss Me).

I agree with you 110% as I watch this I keep asking the same question, Aom and Mike's chemistry is off the hook, I wish they were the main lead.

I can see them fitting in with their character perfectly. Mike usually plays the cold-hearted (but actually isn't) character and Aom usually plays the bright, cheerful character. They would honestly suit the role

I'm hoping they make this male lead a better version of the original male lead (who is more prone to his feelings towards the female lead) just how TenTen was in Kiss Me (Thai version of Itazura Na Kiss/Playful Kiss). We actually saw the fella crying for the female lead.. This hero deserves to cry too (when I actually think about Goong)

will there be any real on air kisses like korean drama?

I think real kisses only happen when the actors are Aom and Mike.

    What's with this plot?
It should tell the story of the drama not the history life of the lead actor!
