I really loved this series! The story was unique, the acting was really good, and the music was really catchy. The only reason I wouldn't rate it perfect is there were a couple little parts that dragged. But otherwise, really good! The supporting characters were all great and the plot twists kept me guessing. My absolute favorite part, though, was No Min Woo as Dong Joo. That man is extremely nice to read more look at and a really good actor on top of that. He made his character really sympathetic and I kept waiting with bated breath for him to show up again. *happy sigh*

Anyway, I really enjoyed this series and will probably rewatch it eventually. ^_^

The story drags on, not until very late into the series does the story start rapidly developing. The story is interesting but it presents an image of the past that isn't explained well enough and leaves you wondering. The actors though strong, have a tough time acting in sorrowful situations. It seems too forced and fake. But the music...My goodness the OST is mind blowing, the music is hypnotic and I like read more the show mostly because of the music. Character development, however, is quite weak in this drama. One of the characters is supposed to go through major development, but it only shows the effects of the development in the last 2 episode, a real let down. Also, one of the characters is a demon(obviously) and being a creature that's been around for a couple of centuries, you'd expect it to be dignified and mature, that was however not the case, and it bothered me. None the less, it was a nice show to watch.

Both have a sweet, innocent supernatural female lead (that at one point walks around barefoot with a white dress!) that adapts to the human world. Also both heroines must protect the lives of the heroes for a certain amount of time due to different reasons linked to their powers, and both heroes could die without this bond. Both male leads are also trying to pursue an artistic career: in MGIAG, he wants to become an actor, and in SA, he is a photographer. Also, both dramas have a darker supernatural character that has a soft spot for the female lead.

UGH!!! Yet another offensive writer writing garbage, this drama from beginning to end had nothing to do with our main leads getting together, but instead about 2 very offensive and obseesed 2nd leads, the asshole Dong Joo, and the bitch Hye In trying and succeeding in splitting up our main couple. I don't understand how people can love and say it's a MUST WATCH, and cute, refreshing, awesome, best drama, like really are you kidding me? This writer and the people who made such comments need to turn their computers/TV's off and go outside and see what real life is about, they need to go back to school and find out what love really is, reality is not these lame selfish and obsessive love triangles. Who writes such garbage? It's time to grow up people...UGH!!! Thought this would be a good drama, but it's just a stupid and lame offensive obsessive triangle with 2 really obsessed scum in the form of the ass Dong Joo and the bitch Hye In that even though they never had nor ever will have a chance with either of our main leads, but obsessively hang on to trying to split up our main leads for their selfish and sick desires. Just another offensive and obsessed with triangles and split ups writer. So pathetically lame.

It may be an ordinary fairy tale story, but it definitely succeeds at what it is by blending the right amount of myth and human emotion to create a drama that still feels fresh regardless of time. Many of the moments I still remember today, like the stuffed drumstick and the camera. I think that is what makes this drama a nostalgic favorite. Plus, Shin Min Ah is gold in every role she plays.

You'd like it if you're looking for something lighthearted, innocent, cute and sweet. Great soundtrack too!

Does she act in anything that doesn't have any of these stupid offensive obsessive triangles? Dramas, not movies, thanks...

Yes, exactly :3 Doesn't mean I'd choose him if I were Gumiho ;)

Well, I loathe Hye In much much more than him anyway, she's SO MUCH more obsessed with Dae Yeoung than Dong Joo is with Mi Ho, just really turns me off with these Korean and Taiwanese dramas, none too sure why these writers are so obsessed with these unnecessary and offensive triangles... I so wish there was a genre triangle... Oh well...

Exactly, since it was him who stabbed Gil-dal, of whom he thinks is Mi Ho, and if it was her, I wouldn't be choosing him either, even though she'd been betrayed by some human... but anyway... I'm watching The Princess Man now, and I've been told there's no triangle in it, so I can relax and enjoy... Enjoy watching whatever you're watching, thanks for getting back to me... :-)

You're watching it, I have it on my PTW list, does it have a triangle thus far? If so, I'll drop it, I see you've finished 18 episodes of it. It does look good, but I loath these, as I already said, offensive triangles...
