I'm having a hard time with my thoughts regarding this movie. I'm really not sure how to rate it.
On the one hand this movie is a really sweet, young love, romance story. I liked that a lot. It was so cute and both main characters did a very good job portraying their age and love for each other.

Now, on the other hand, the love and story seems incongruent to what read more is actually happening. Jenny is 15?Korean years? and she becomes pregnant. This is where I had the problem with the story. When it ended I really was left wondering what the point of the whole movie was.
The pregnancy situation was EXTREMELY UNREALISTIC,IMO.There were no consequences to becoming a teen parent. No moral, physical, social, etc. consequences. The girl didn't even get morning sickness or lose her flat stomach. Having a baby is a beautiful thing, but it is also difficult and a huge responsibility. The movie showed none of that. Everything was sweet, rainbows, and roses. From what I could see. There was really no conflict, and the little conflict there was, was not presented strongly enough.
Were they promoting teen pregnancy? Sex education?.IDK Even the sound track was very childish. There was even a scene were they show a video on what happens in an abortion that was very one sided. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with abortion, just that the scene was presented in what in the USA is called, ProLife, kind of way.

Anyway, it was sweet, but the topic was handled in very unrealistically.

First of all I'll tell you why I watched this; I was scrolling through DC and saw that there was a movie named Jenny & Juno. I thought "What movie is named like that? Sounds like some soap bubble movie for little kids." I was sure I had heard the name of the movie somewhere and then I remembered. I heard the name on facebook. Yup. My friend had commented on one read more music video (Cyndi Wang's song to Momo Love OP) I had shared there.

So today after school I was really bored and looking for something to watch. I was planning to continue Lucky Seven but realized that I want to watch a Korean movie after a long time. And I haven't watched many K-movies either. This was my 4th K-movie.

Anyhow, the plot of the movie was very good. Main reason why I decided to watch this was the plot. Mainly because it's really similar to my all-time fav j-drama 14-sai no Haha.

Acting was...well how could I say it. The main actor and actress were REALLY CUTE. They were so cute that I couldn't concentrate on the acting...Plus I always kept comparing the actress of Jenny to Shida Mirai's superb acting in 14-sai no Haha. So acting in this one didn't blow me out.

When the music started for the 1st time I thought it was really cute and catchy. Then while the movie went on the music stayed the same, only singers changed. So I got annoyed of the fact that the music was repeating and repeating again.

I think I won't be re-watching this. I usually don't re-watch series/movies unless they're something "special" to me or unless they blew my mind out while I watched them.

So overall this was a cute movie but nothing special. Thus I'll give this a 6.

Thanks for reading my review ^^

When one does not want two do not ...
Jenny & Juno is a daily drama that talks about unwanted pregnancy, so far nothing new, a common theme, yet it is a quality long, simple story and elaborate performance are summarized in Jenny & Juno.
The way the subject is approached makes all the difference, when there is saturation of content of the same type, stand out the one that best knows to take advantage of it.

I honestly felt bad for Juno the whole time. Usually when the girl gets pregnant she has to suffer all the consequences, but as soon as that poor boy said he wasn't going to run away, Jenny snatched onto him and slowly drained away his energy. Poor Juno D: His smile can save the world though.

I like how the whole point of this movie made Jenny's pregnancy unbelievable and unrealistic. It reflects exactly what naive teenagers think of unprotected sex and pregnancy in real life. They stupidly think it is a fairy tale. The actors who played Jenny and Juno were perfect playing 2 naive dumbasses.

It's a good story to learn about loyalty, but it's a really BAD story to learn how teenagers or good peoples should life..

I watched thisba while ago and I actually didn't like it. For me, it was not believeable. Maybe it is just the korean culture but I find it a little stupid when there was a teenage pregnancy but the main couple were still so awkward to even hold hands. Or kiss. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

The ending totally ruined it for me. It was just so far from reality and it just wasn't even good. It didn't even make sense. It seemed like the writers had no idea how to end the movie so they just shot random scenes and put it together. I was disappointed tbh.

it was cute at first and the soundtrack was cute , but then soon at the end there seemed to be no logic whats so ever , things happened that made you confused and question the whole point of the movie

This was adorable. Something lighthearted to watch with a happy ending. I've read the comments about how people should take teen pregnancy seriously, and I agree. But sometimes you want to just see that Romeo & Juliet story play out and see the happy ending. This was obviously not a tragedy, it was a romantic comedy.

It's true that they were reckless, and you do see some of the negative outcomes related to this issue. The anti-abortion video, and how they would have been against the adults 'killing' the unborn child if they told them about it. How they hadn't even decided what they wanted to be, and now they will have to raise a child.

We will never see the real outcome of them raising a child and continuing to go to school. But there are single parents that do that everyday. Juno stepped up and supported her, took care of her needs, and realized that he would have to take responsibility.

I think it has plenty of life lessons, while still remaining lighthearted and loveable to watch. You should also remember, it's a movie, not true life :P

Yes, let's make a movie about two 15 year olds getting pregnant and how great that is and how supportive the entire world is about that. God forbid a dose of reality might raise it's head. The couple were definitely cute and very sweet together. But the overall message of the movie was a fail for me. Teenage pregnancy isn't really what I call something to celebrate. I understand it's just a comedy/romance, but 15? It was just a bit too much for me. was sweet in it's own way...the two leads pretty much saved it. It is the one time I will say that the American version, Juno, was much better. Funny yet realistic, it was what I wish this one had been. Just me. Still, I recommend watching it. Definitely a pleasant couple hours.

It was cute, but something felt missing. Maybe I expected too much knowing that this is from the same maker of the super cute "My Little Bride". But anyway, still a worth watching movie.
