Story: It truly is hilarious. A nun moving in with three boys to be in a band! This is one of the best romantic comedies I’ve seen. You would not believe the kind of trouble such an innocent girl gets into. Surrounded by three stunningly handsome boys, how could she not fall for one? Honestly, even I did. I had a bad case of ‘Second Guy Syndrome.’ And how could they not fall for her in return? It was so much fun watching her pretending to be a boy and watching her fall in love (and not even know it.) There was such great flow between events and it really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The only con with this drama is that she is too innocent. It makes sense that she would be seeing as she was raised by nuns. However, there are times when it gets on your nerves a little bit.

Music: An amazing OST with every member of A.N.Jell singing.

Cast/Acting: Every single one of them, from the manager to the president, from Mi Nam/Nyu to Yoo He Yi and A.N.Jell were amazing. It was refreshing to see so many different personalities played out well. Honestly, out of everyone, I think Lee Hongki did the best. Like in Muscle Girl, he was the most funny and my favorite character.

This Kdrama is about a girl who tries her best to fit in an all BOYS idol group (and in her case: pretend). From a nun in training to a pop-star idol. This is the life of Go Min Yu in her road to finding her true self, in a very unexpected way.

Although the ratings weren't as high as expected since it had a very tough competition from IRIS during it's airing, You're Beautiful was rather well accepted all over the world and had a huge fan-base online. This drama was definitely worth the wait, the space of my HD, the sleepless times I had and of course it was definitely worth the WATCH. It's like watching Coffee Prince and Boys Over Flowers together only better than BOF and good enough like Coffee Prince. Lately I've been watching too many shows where a girl cross dresses and pretends to be a man but still… I'm enjoying every bit of it.

In conclusion, the drama is a heartfelt show that would entertain specially the teens up to the young adult population. The humorous lines and acting, good music along with great cinematography (which the Korean media industry are so keen of) bring this drama to my top list in the Korean section for the year 2009.

First thing, I love Park Shin Hye, she's an amazing actress.

I absolutely loved this drama, you fall in love with all of the characters and keep wanting more! The story was really excellent, and at first I was a little hazy with the main actor, but he really does grow on you and you come to love him as well.

I would recommend this to anyone, such a great show!

You're Beautiful is as close to perfect as kdramas can get. You have a a girl who grew up training to be a nun posing as her twin brother in order to find the mother who she thinks abandoned them. And then there is the boy harem, which consists of a strict almost jerk-like kind of guy who can't ever admit his feelings to himself, a boy who has no problem admitting his feelings but has really poor timing, and the comic relief guy who ends up thinking he may be gay because of his feelings for the main girl (which is hilarious!). The music is absolutely perfect! I swear, nothing can make you smile as quickly as Promise, or choke up like My Heart's Calling! I try to be honest with myself in terms of the flaws of a tv show, just so that I can remind myself that I have really poor taste sometimes :p But honestly, with You're Beautiful it's really hard to pinpont any. I will say that the love rectangle gets really painful at times, and your heart will break for some of the characters. But then Tae Kyung will say "Go Mi Nam" in his pretentious way, and smile his crazy little smile, and your heart will melt all over again! When it's all said and done, if you want something to watch that will run you the full gamut of emotions from ecstatic and giggly to worried and crying, this is what you want to watch! And now, having talked about it, I must go watch all of my favorite scenes again for the umpteenth time!!

This is the first time i am actually writing a review(as in ANY kind of review)in my life!!Literally this drama forced me to write a review on it.

I have to admit this is THE BEST KOREAN DRAMA EVER. After watching COFFEE PRINCE i was like could any K-drama be any good than that. Oh boy was i wrong! I was practically swooped up from the floor after watching its first episode.

I loved every part of this show.I highly recommend it. The actors were perfect in there roles. I became a fan of Park Shin Hye and Jang Geun Suk after watching it. If you are a fan of comedy romance drama n lots n lots of pig-rabbits(You're Beautiful fans should know about it :P) Then please watch this drama. Saranghae You're Beautifull :D

You're beautiful is the first korean drama I've seen two years and half ago.
Because of that, I used to think for a long time that it was beautiful; since I only knew japanese dramas, I found everything so amazing because it was new to me. I realized that seeing other kdramas.

In my opinion, this drama is a little bit over-rated.
But to me it is still very good indeed.

The plot: the plot is nice and girly; the girl that pretends to be a boy and falls for the last man she thought she would fall.
I found that they were able to tell this in a good way, even if it was a typical plot that you can see in many dramas. So the plot is totally ok, it is full of cute moments, but also of sad ones.

The actors: I liked the casting. There were 'professional' actors as Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye and also 'idols' actors as Yong Hwa and Hong Ki, I think it was a good choice, especially for a music drama.
Anyway I have something to point out.
Even if I love Park Shin Hye and I think she made a great job here, I think sometimes the part didn't suits her well; for example during love moments I felt like she was forcing her self and not acting naturally(but this is MY opinable opinion!)

The music: music was very good and refreshing, I have the ost on my phone too, I like to listen to it sometimes.

In the end, what can I say? It is a refreshing drama, a cute drama, but also a 'sad' one sometimes. Sometimes I felt it was a little but slow but that was not difficult to overcome.
Honestly, even if in my opinion it isn't a perfect drama, I rewatched it 4 times, because it is catchy!

First of all: You're Beautiful is no Drama to me. To me it's a collection of feelings: Cuteness, Sadness, Happyness, Disappointment, Love, Dramatic-all this feelings take place in this drama. The story is original-I think. It's not the typical Tomboy story.

I love love love the Cast! Jang Geuk Suk- so cool :) Jung Yong Hwa-my favourite and Lee Hong Ki-sooo cute ^_^. They're all sooo handsome *-* Park Shin Hye gives the role of Go Mi Nam such cuteness, that you just can smile all the time :D.

The Music is very important in this. You feel so much emotions when they sing, because you know the story behind the songs. Of course I gave this a 10 because I love every OST of You're beautiful.

I looove this Drama so much that I can call it Masterpiece. It will always be my favourite.
When you like... Korean Dramas you will love this one .
Out of my sight it's a must-watch *-*

I loved this drama so much it's the first and only I've watched through twice. A lot of people say it's over-rated, but I don't think it is. Where most dramas are pretty much the same thing, YB seemed to stand out and do something really different. The characters and the story were very unique. It was also really funny too, which is a bonus. I also discovered a band (FT Island) thanks to this drama (From Lee Hongki being in it). I think it's high rated for a reason. It's actually really good!

Oh how I loved this drama! It made me feel so many emotions. I got angry, and sad and super happy. I loved the characters except for Yoo He Yi and reporter guy. But I think that`s a given since they are suppose to be the bad guys. I adore the music from this drama. I have the entire OST on repeat on my i-pod. This drama made me realized how great an actor Jang Geun Seok is, I now can't stop watching him. I rewatch this drama over and over again just to see him. This drama also introduced me to the sexy voice of Jung Yong Hwa and his amazing band CNBlue. It also made me realize just how versatile Hongki's voice is and how adorable he is as Jeremy, I wanted to pack him up and take him home with me ahaha.
Overall I love this drama to bits so of course I recommend it to anyone!
Happy Watching :)

For a lot of people, this was their first drama. But for me, even though it was not my first (of Asian Dramas, Ouran High School was my first, and of Korean Dramas, Playful Kiss was my first.)I really loved it, and it will definitely stay my favorite.

I really loved the humor in this drama. I feel like someone could have taken this plot and gone in a completely wrong direction, and not made it as funny as it was,and I was so glad to see that they didn't do that.

This, of course, was the first time I had ever seen Jang Geun Suk acting, and from this drama on I have always loved his acting. I cannot count the times I have watched this drama, they are way too many. After watching the whole thing I can go back through and watch it again.

I have watched the Japanese version of this, but, even though that version was pretty good and I do like certain scenes better, nothing can beat this original.

This is the best version and has the best actors for the parts.

You should definitely start with this drama.

First of all, I would like to say that I've watched this drama all the way through FIVE times. I was (and still am) obsessed with this drama, but to write this review I tried to be as unbiased as possible.

The story idea was great. Maybe it's because I have a thing for gender benders, but I really liked the idea. This drama was very lighthearted, fluffy, and cutesy, and I couldn't help but squee the whole way through. Jeremy (played by Lee Hongki), was absolutely adorable. If you need a lighthearted drama to get your mind off of sad stuff (for example, if you just finished watching a drama like Stairway to Heaven and need a quick breather), watch You're Beautiful. The music was amazing, and the story made me smile. There were some funny scenes, and I love the pig rabbit with all my heart.

However, I DO think that this drama is overrated. Personally, I loved the story, but the acting could have been better (UEE was pretty good in this drama though. I was impressed). This drama was fun, but it was amateurish and there were several flaws in the acting and storyline that didn't make sense. Halfway through, the drama really starts dragging and goes downhill. The story starts to fall apart, and at one point I felt like nothing made sense. The ending wasn't all too great either. If you don't like weak characters, You're Beautiful might drive you insane. Go Mi Nyu (Park Shin Hye), who pretends to be Go Mi Nam, is a very weak character who makes extremely stupid decisions and is probably the most dense drama character I've ever encountered in my life. I still love the drama and there were some funny scenes because of her clumsiness, but sometimes her character just made me frustrated.

Still, I gave this a 9 rewatch value because of the ambiance that it creates. Even though there are flaws, the happy and funny scenes are great (and not to mention this is a kdrama that you could watch with the whole family since it doesn't have many-if any- inappropriate parts) and the overall light tone of the drama could lift your spirits when you're feeling down. You're Beautiful is one of those dramas that has some really stupid mistakes, but you can't help but forgive and ignore because you love the adorable-ness of the drama too much to complain about it.

This drama was absolutely brilliant! I don't even know where to begin. The fact that this drama had the most beautiful story line and composed of the most compelling actors that got me hooked in the first five minutes, makes it a complete package which is more than I could ask for. I was consistently entertained throughout and never had to even think about skipping bits of it (which I do a lot!!). This is a MUST watch and you won't be disappointed ;)
