Both dramas have hilarious and immature CEOs with a trustworthy and friend-like secretaries. Plot-wise, they are very different but both dramas are ridiculously hilarious and sweet.

After years of hardship, the woman breaks up with her man only for him to succeed beyond belief. When they meet again, few years later, he is living in opulence while she is still having hard time making ends meet. She starts working for him and the sparks fly! Another, cute and talented man shows interest in her and the fun love triangle ensues! The plot is exactly the same! The jobs, the length and the actors are the only difference! LOL

They don't actually have the same story, one is about first love reuniting and the other is about a divorced couple reuniting. It's just about the vibe of the couples. FL has a hardworking personality, tough and good at fighting with others especially with their men, whereas ML has a calm personality, falls in love with their women first and is even considered inferior to their women's control. That's why in both dramas you can see how much influence their women's actions or words have in their lives even though they've been separated for years.

Watching Cunning Single Lady,I get the same carefree fun vibe I got from Marriage Not Dating. At first, the two shows differ but they still remain two dramas about two couples that are together for convenience (FL in CSG and ML in MND).Also the ML from both dramas appears cold but is actually kind.

Kazuha Ono is divorced at the age of 35 due to her husband's affair. Despite this, she is trying to live positively but is conscious of other people’s remarks regarding her age and the fact she’s a divorcee. While announcing her divorce to her coworkers she is overhead by Mitsui, a new employee, who happens to be there. Furthermore, Rensuke Hayami, a former business partner, now a popular actor, also appears, and begins to wield her Kazuha?!

Na Ae Ra is the prettiest girl in her town. Many guys around her try to win her heart but she dreams of marrying a civil servant. One day she meets dorky Cha Jung Woo who is preparing for civil service exams. They fall for each other and eventually marry.
Her dream of living happily ever after is short-lived when her husband announces that he quit his job and wants to go into business. She supports him throughout the years by working herself to her bone while he coded software in a basement and failed to find investors. When she could no longer take it, she decided she wanted a divorce.
She is still juggling jobs years later, to repay the debt she accrued while supporting her husband. She feels life is unfair when she finds out that her husband's business is a success and made him rich. Wanting to even the score, she joins his company as an intern. Thus begins a cat and dog quarrel between ex-husband and wife, who hurt each other, but can’t seem to get over one another.

Qin Zi Qi is very similar to Gook Seung Hyeon, both are heirs that have to go incognito into their own firm and the main female teaches them how life should be lived at work.

Shoji Taishi is a new third-generation lawmaker who comes from a family of politicians and had a sheltered upbringing. The womanising and not particularly intelligent Taishi and his actress wife, Kurosawa Yui, who got her big break through a drama series, have been married for five years. They act like a happily married couple for the sake of their work and public image, but their marriage has already broken down. Taishi and Yui barely have a conversation except when live streaming on social media and do not even see each other at home. Although they have grown disenchanted in their marriage, they cannot get divorced immediately due to pressure from their families and endorsement deals. The couple have no choice but to unite with the unshakeable goal of breaking up.

Ayaka, who works at the bridal department at a hotel, has a beauty that everyone recognizes, yet her personality is the worst. Everyone calls her a "wicked woman" after the way she wraps numerous men around her finger. The one who sets his eyes on her is the hotel's new executive Togo, who is the son of a very powerful person of the town. What are the orders that this King-like man requests of her!?

Both story environments are the workplace, also the FL has prior history with main male lead. A strong 2nd ML is also interested in the main FL. I like that the characters in both seem more mature, and emotions are expressed with really great acting.

Both of the shows are in office settings. The female leads in both shows are strong and very funny. There's also a love triangle between the girl, her ex, and her coworker.
