TWICE's Kim Da Hyun confirmed to make her acting debut!
ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo confirmed his casting for a new romance drama.
On September 5th, Cha Eun Woo's agency Fantagio Entertainment confirmed that Cha Eun Woo will be the main lead of the upcoming drama "A Good Day to be a Dog."
"A Good Day to be a Dog" will be the latest project of director Kim Dae Woong and scriptwriter Baek In Ha.
The series will base its story on the webtoon of the same name by Lee Hey. It is a fantasy romance about a woman who's under a family curse. She turns into a dog when kissed but the only way for her to break the curse is to have a second kiss. But the first person who took her first kiss has a great fear of dogs.
Cha Eun Woo will give life to the character named Jin Seo Won. He is a character who is afraid of dogs. He got this fear due to his trauma as a child. He doesn't show his sad trauma but instead, he showcases a warm and cool-headed personality.
The upcoming series will be produced by Group Eight, the production company behind "Taxi Driver," "Boys Over Flowers," "My ID is Gangnam Beauty," and more. This will be the second time that they will be working with Cha Eun Woo.
"A Good Day to be a Dog" is set to begin its first filming this coming October. No other details yet on the other casts, official broadcast channel, and premiere date.
This drama will be the fourth upcoming series from Cha Eun Woo. In 2022, the idol actor will join the upcoming series "Island Season 1" together with Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, and Sung Joon. He will also reportedly lead the upcoming dramas "This Relationship Is Force Majeure" and "Sweet and Sour Chicken."
Aside from dramas, Cha Eun Woo will also return to the big screen through the upcoming movie "Decibel" with Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, and Lee Sang Hee.
Cha Eun Woo last starred in the hit webtoon based 2020 drama "True Beauty."
