Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Girls Day Bang Min Ah and Kwon Hwa Woon are both offered to appear in the new MBC drama titled "Please Check The Event"
On April 23, reports circulated that Girls Day's Bang Min Ah will finally return to the small screen through the drama "Please Check The Event" with Kwon Hwa Woon.
Both their agencies responded to the reports. Bang Min Ah's agency Yooborn Company shared their side and stated that their artist is considering the offer. Meanwhile Kwon Hwa Woon's agency, 935 Entertainment stated that the actor is also positively reviewing the drama.
The melodramatic drama "Please Check The Event" narrates the story of an ex-couple who's working together by pretending to still be a couple and joins the sweepstake for the couples-only vacation. The drama is said to have a four part series. Girls Day Bang Min Ah got the offer to plat the role of Ha Song Yi, a botanical garden coordinator. Kwon Hwa Woon on the other hand received the offer to play the role of Park Do Kyum, an indie band leader and vocalist.
Bang Min Ah last appeared in the 2019 drama "My Absolute Boyfriend." If the idol-actress confirms her casting for "Please Check The Event," this will be her comeback to dramas after 2 years. She also starred in dramas such as "Beautiful Gong Shim," "Sweet, Savage Family," "The Best Future," "Vampire Idol," and more.
Kwon Hwa Woon is currently part of the ongoing tvN drama "Mouse" with main leads Lee Seung Gi and Lee Hee Joon. He was also part of the dramas such as "Zombie Detective," "Lie After Lie," "Doctor John," "The Scholar Who Walks the Night," and more.
"Please Check The Event" will air on MBC.
