Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Im Yoon Ah received offers to be the female lead for the upcoming drama "Big Mouth"
It was reported on May 18th that Im Yoon Ah will be joining Lee Jong Suk in the upcoming legal drama titled "Big Mouth.” The said series will be helmed by "Hotel Del Luna," and "Start Up" director, Oh Choong Hwan and written by Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon.
Im Yoon Ah's agency SM Entertainment responded to the reports, stating that the idol actress did receive the casting offer and is positively reviewing it. Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk is still considering to take the male lead role of the drama.
"Big Mouth" will showcase the journey of a third-class lawyer also known as Big Mouth as he handles a murder case and uncovers the truth. Lee Jong Suk was given the offer to play the role of Big Mouth while Im Yoon Ah was offered to play as Big Mouth's wife, Ko Mi Ho.
"Big Mouth" is slated to start production in the second half of the year. Further details are yet to be announced.
After five years of constant training, Im Yoon Ah made her debut in 2007 as a member of SM Entertainment's girl group Girls’ Generation. She is currently active as an actress. She last starred in the 2020 drama "Hush" with top actor Hwang Jung Min. Im Yoon Ah was also the lead for the dramas "The King in Love,” "The K2,” "Prime Minister and I,” "Love Rain,” and more.
She will also be part of the cast of upcoming movies "Miracle: Letters to the President" with Lee Sung Min and Park Jung Min, "Happy New Year" with Han Ji Min, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and more, and "Confidential Assignment 2: International" with Hyun Bin and Yoo Hae Jin.
