Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Kim Go Eun will reportedly lead the upcoming K-drama Eun Jung and Sang Yeon.
Various media outlets shared on April 13 that Kim Go Eun will be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama titled Eun Jung and Sang Yeon. This will possibly be her first K-drama project for 2023.
Kim Go Eun's side responded to the casting news. According to BH Entertainment, "Kim Go Eun did receive the offer and she is positively considering it."
The top actress last starred in the 2022 tvN K-drama Little Women wherein she brilliantly portrayed her role as the oldest sister. She worked alongside Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ki Joon, and Uhm Ji Won.
Kim Go Eun is also set to star in the upcoming film The Unearthed Grave with Choi Min Shik, Yoo Hae Jin, Lee Do Hyun, and Jeon Jin Ki.
Many are already anticipating the next K-drama of Kim Go Eun and what genre she will pick for her next work.
Eun Jung and Sang Yeon will be the next work of director Jo Young Min (The Interest of Love and Do You Like Brahms?) and writer Song Hye Jin (The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and Love, Lies).
The upcoming K-drama will revolve around the story of two childhood best friends who got separated and met again after so many years now that they are already working adults.
Kim Go Eun got the offer to give life to a character named Ryu Eun Jung. She is currently a drama writer. Meanwhile, the childhood best friend will portray the role of a filmmaker.
