Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Kim Ji Won might be the next partner of Kim Soo Hyun in a new K-drama.
On November 22nd, several media outlets reported that Kim Ji Won received the offer to be the main lead of the upcoming drama "Queen of Tears." Actor Kim Soo Hyun got the offer first and his agency shared that he's currently reviewing the offer.
Kim Ji Won's agency High Zium Studio quickly responded to the casting reports. As stated by the agency, Kim Ji Won did receive the casting offer to star in "Queen of Tears" and the actress is positively considering it.
"Queen of Tears" will be the next work of writer Park Ji Eun ("Crash Landing on You," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," "Swing Kids," and "My Love from the Star") and director Kim Hee Won ("Little Women," "Vincenzo," and "The Crowned Clown").
According to reports, Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun will possibly act as a married couple in "Queen of Tears."
Many are already anticipating the upcoming series for the possible partnership between Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun. Another reason is the reunion of Kim Soo Hyun with "My Love From The Star" and "The Producers" writer.
There are no details yet on the broadcast channel and premiere date of "Queen of Tears."
If Kim Ji Won accepts the offer, this will be her first K-drama for 2023.
In 2022, Kim Ji Won focused on her k-drama "My Liberation Notes" with Son Seok Koo, Lee Min Ki, Lee El, Lee Ki Woo, and Chun Ho Jin. Many praised the actress for her great acting and chemistry with Son Seok Koo.
