Kim Shin Be will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama "The Demon."

On January 2nd, media outlet OSEN reported that Kim Shin Be will be added to the cast of the upcoming SBS K-drama "The Demon." 

Kim Shin Be made his acting debut in 2017 through the play titled "History of the Room." Since then, he has starred in several works such as "Hometown," "Journey to the Shore," "Cinema Street," "Fairy," and more. 

In 2022, the actor starred in the K-dramas "A Model Family" and "Cheer Up." 

There is no confirmation yet on whether Kim Shin Be will be officially part of the upcoming K-drama. 

Aside from "The Demon," Kim Shin Be will also be part of the upcoming movie "The Roundup: No Way Out" with Ma Dong Seok, Lee Joon Hyuk, Aoki Munetaka, Park Ji Hwan, Lee Bum Soo, and Kim Min Jae.

"The Demon" will be led by Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se, Hong Kyung, Yang Hye Ji, and Jin Seon Kyu.

The upcoming series will be the least work of top writer Kim Eun Hee that also penned the works "Jirisan," "Kingdom: Ashin of the North," "Kingdom Season 1," "Signal," "3 Days," and more. 

"The Demon" is a mystery-thriller that will revolve around the mysterious death surrounding five bodies. It will showcase a woman who is possessed by demons and a man who can see the demon.

Kim Tae Ri will play the role of Ku San Young, the ordinary part timer who got possessed by a demon. Oh Jung Se on the other hand will play the role of Yeom Hae Sang, the man who has the ability to see demons since he was a child.

The series will be directed by Lee Jung Rim

"The Demon" will premiere this coming June and it will exclusively premiere on SBS. The upcoming K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes. 

There are no details yet on which character was offered to Kim Shin Be.
