Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Lee Jong Suk and Kim Rae Won are in talks to star in a new film titled Decibel!
On January 19, reports stated that Lee Jong Suk will join Kim Rae Won, Park Byung Eun and Jung Sang Hoon for the upcoming film "Decibel" produced by East Dream Synopex.
The story of Decibel begins when a bomb that is sensitive to sound is found in the center of the city. This terror attempt follows an earlier incident a year ago in a submarine. Officials such as the submarine commander, reporter and someone from the Defense Security Support Command work together to stop the bomb. It will be directed by Hwang In Ho, who previously worked on films such as Spellbound and Monster.
Last December 2020, reports stated that Kim Rae Won, Park Byung Eun and Jung Sang Hoon had accepted roles in this film. Sources close to the actors also shared that they are positively considering the casting offer.
Lee Jong Suk's agency A-MAN Project confirmed through media outlet Newsen that the actor is also positively considering "Decibel" and it is part of the many works he is reviewing.
If Lee Jong Suk accepts this role, this will be his first confirmed comeback project after his discharge from the military. The actor was discharged from the military on January 2, 2021.
Lee Jong Suk is currently reviewing several potential drama and film offers for his comeback project. He recently participated in a photoshoot for the February 2021 issue of Esquire. He will also make a cameo in the upcoming film The Witch: Part 2. The Collision starring Kim Da Mi, Park Eun Bin and Jin Goo. Meanwhile, Kim Rae Won is starring together with Lee Da Hee in the upcoming tvN drama L.U.C.A.: The Beginning.
Decibel aims to start filming this spring after the completion of casting.
