Director Kim Han Min's long-awaited conclusion to the three-part epic series about Admiral Yi Sun Shin, titled Noryang: Deadly Sea, has confirmed its release date for the coming December. To build anticipation, the production has unveiled a poster and a teaser.

The teaser poster for Noryang: Deadly Sea is building up excitement among film enthusiasts. 

Noryang: Deadly Sea serves as the epic finale of the Yi Sun Sin trilogy, following The Admiral: Roaring Currents (2014), which astoundingly drew 17.61 million viewers, and Hansan: Rising Dragon (2022), got a remarkable achievement of 7.26 million viewers despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Embodying the iconic character of Admiral Yi Sun Sin in this installment is the renowned actor Kim Yoon Seok. While Choi Min Shik portrayed the revered admiral in The Admiral: Roaring Currents and Park Hae Il played the role in Hansan: Rising Dragon, Kim Yoon Seok brings his unique talent to breathe life into the character of the brilliant strategist.

The film is set against the backdrop of the pivotal Battle of Noryang, taking place on November 19, 1598, according to the lunar calendar. This historic confrontation marked the culmination of the Imjin War, a seven-year-long conflict of the Japanese invasions of Korea. Noryang: Deadly Sea captures Admiral Yi Sun Sin's last heroic battle as he undertakes a mission to vanquish the retreating Japanese forces in Joseon, seven years after the outbreak of the Japanese invasions of Korea.

In addition to Kim Yoon Seok, the movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Baek Lee Je HoonJung Jae YoungHeo Joon HoAhn Bo HyunKim Sung GyuLee Kyu Hyung, and many other talented actors, ensuring a riveting cinematic experience.
