Red Velvet's Joy will reportedly join the upcoming JTBC drama "Only One Person" that Park Sung Hoon and Ahn Eun Jin are also in talks for.

"Only One Person" is a romantic comedy drama that will narrate the life of a woman who's terminally ill and wants to kill one bad guy before dying. She will eventually encounter a person that will change her life. The drama will be the first ever hospice ward setting in Korea.

The upcoming drama is part of Keyeast's drama lineup for 2021. It will be helmed by "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo"  and "Find Me in Your Memory" director Oh Hyun Jong. It will be written by Moon Jung Min who also wrote 2018's KBS 2TV "Matrimonial Chaos.”

Earlier reports state that Park Sung Hoon and Ahn Eun Jin will be the main leads for the upcoming drama. "Only One Person" will reportedly start filming this coming August. The drama is slated to premiere on the second half of the year. 

Red Velvet's Joy got the offer to play the role of Seong Mi Do, a famous influencer who's life is numbered. 

Joy debuted in the SM Entertainment girl group, Red Velvet in 2014. Aside from being active as an idol, she also ventured into acting, hosting, and more. She made her acting debut through the drama "The Liar and His Lover" with Lee Hyun Woo and Lee Seo Won. She also starred in dramas such as "The Boy Next Door" with Choi Woo Shik, Jang Ki Yong, Jang Hee Ryung, and more. Joy last appeared in the 2018 MBC series "Tempted" with Woo Do Hwan, Moon Ga Young, and, Kim Min Jae
