Song Hye Kyo might reunite with the director of "Descendants of the Sun" in a new drama!

Several media outlets reported that Song Hye Kyo will be starring in a new mystery thriller drama and it will be directed by Lee Eung Bok

Lee Eung Bok is well known for directing hit dramas namely "Sweet Home," "Mr. Sunshine," "Goblin," "Descendants of the Sun," "Secret," and more. He will also direct Jun Ji Hyun's comeback drama titled "Cliffhanger."

Once Song Hye Kyo confirms the reports, this will be her reunion with the director. They previously worked in the 2015 drama "Descendants of the Sun" with the actress' former husband Song Joong Ki

Anticipation already arises with the partnership of Director Lee Eung Bok and Song Hye Kyo and how this drama will surely be a hit because of them. 

No other details about the drama have been revealed. 

Song Hye Kyo is currently working on her comeback drama after her 3 year hiatus. She is filming for the upcoming drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up" together with Jang Ki Yong. The 16-episode series will air on SBS and will premiere sometime this year. 

After she wrapped up filming for "Now, We Are Breaking Up," Song Hye Kyo will then start with another upcoming drama titled "The Glory." This time, she will be working with "Descendants of the Sun" and "Goblin" writer, Kim Eun Sook. This drama will air on tvN and will reportedly have a total of 8 episodes. 

Song Hye Kyo last starred in the 2018 drama "Encounter" along with Park Bo Gum." She was also part of other highly rated dramas namely "That Winter, The Wind Blows," "The World That They Live In," "Full House," "Soonpoong Clinic," and more.
