Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
The upcoming K-movie Dark Nuns confirmed its cast lineup.
On February 16, Distributor company NEW officially confirmed that Song Hye Kyo, Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Jin Wook, Heo Joon Ho, and Moon Woo Jin will be the main leads of the upcoming film Dark Nuns.
Dark Nuns will be the spin-off of the hit 2015 film The Priests which was led by Kim Yoon Seok, Kang Dong Won, Park So Dam, Kim Eui Sung, Son Jong Hak, and Lee Ho Jae. The upcoming film will tell the story of the people who are trying to save a young boy who is being possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
The upcoming movie will have the same director as the 2015 movie The Priests, the director Jang Jae Hyun, who is known for also creating the works Svaha: The Sixth Finger, 12th Assistant Deacon, and the soon-to-premiere movie Exhuma.
Many are already anticipating the spin-off movie Dark Nuns and whether it can surpass the achievement of The Priests which garnered over 5 million moviegoers. Many are also excited about the synergy between the confirmed main leads.
According to the distributor company, Dark Nuns will start filming on February 22.
Song Hye Kyo will portray the role of Sister Junia, a nun who has a strong will to save the possessed boy. She is persistent and does everything she can to save the young boy.
Jeon Yeo Been will portray the role of Sister Mikaela. She is skeptical and curious about Sister Junia. Although she has her doubts, she still helps her in everything.
Lee Jin Wook will be Father Paulo in the upcoming film. He is a priest and a psychiatrist who has faith that medicine is the one that can heal the young boy.
Heo Joon Ho who will portray the role of Father Andrea is the total opposite. He does his best to perform a ritual to save the young boy from evil spirits.
Lastly, Moon Woo Jin will be the key character in the film. He will portray the role of Hee Joon, the young boy who has been possessed by evil spirits.
