Vengo Gao & Dilraba Dilmurat in a Sequel to Eternal Love

Three Lives, Three Worlds, Three Miles of Peach Blossoms, the TV drama, was epic! It had a great script, loyal to the book, a great wardrobe and great special effects but above all, it had great chemistry between the leads: Mark Chao and Yang Mi as Ye Hua and Bai Qian.

While their story was unfolding another couple emerged in contention for the title of best couple in the drama setting social media even further abuzz: Bai Fengjiu and Dong Hua played by Dilraba Dilmurat and Vengo Gao. It was impossible not to ship them; as impossible as not to ship Bai Qian and Ye Hua such was their connection onscreen. Yet as the drama concluded, expectations were not met for fans of the adorable second couple.

Fans can now rejoice! Today it was announced on Sina Weibo that both actors will reprise their roles in Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book drama adaptation of the book. A movie version of the book is also in the works!

No news yet about when the drama will start filming so it might be a while until it goes on screen! If you can’t wait until then, take a look at the book. It’s a great reading to enjoy and build up the expectations for what’s to come!
