YG Entertainment released another statement regarding the dating rumors between actor Kang Dong Won and BLACKPINK's Rosé.
On April 17, YG Entertainment addressed the rumors regarding Kang Dong Won and Rosé. Earlier today, the agency stated, "It is difficult to confirm the dating reports as it is their private life."
This is not new for YG Entertainment as they have released this kind of statement on some of their artists' dating rumors.
After YG Entertainment's official statement, speculations continued about Kang Dong Won and Rosé.
The dating rumors started when Kang Dong Won and Rosé were seen participating in the same event. Suspicions arose when the two were also spotted with similar stuff that seemed to be a couple look. Kang Dong Won and Rosé were labelmates under YG Entertainment until December 2022. Kang Dong Won's contract expired and he didn't renew with YG Entertainment.
With this, many assumed that with YG Entertainment's statement, the agency admitted to their rumored relationship.
Later today, YG Entertainment released another statement to clarify the dating reports.
YG Entertainment shared, "Earlier, we stated that we cannot confirm our artist Rosé's private life, but as more speculation continues, we'll inform you with facts. We are confirming that the dating rumors circulating Rosé are not true. We appreciate it if you could help us prevent the spread of content that is different from facts."
Rosé recently performed at Coachella with other BLACKPINK members. BLACKPINK attracted over 120 thousand live audiences and over 200 million live viewers on Youtube. Rosé will also participate in the upcoming encore concerts of BLACKPINK in North America.
Meanwhile, Kang Dong Won is set to return to the small screen after 19 years. He will lead the upcoming K-drama Polaris with Jun Ji Hyun. The actor will also star in the upcoming films The Incident, Jeon, Ran, and Possession.
