Hmmm... I can't exactly remember when did I wrote this one... Hmmm... around 2010 I guess... (^-^)

THE TWO TRAVELERS

Once were two travelers, in a journey.
They’re searching for something called bliss
Each has his own baggage
Bearing it in a never-ending-like voyage.

One is carrying a heavy baggage
Weighty enough to slow down his pace
With him were – ANGER, ENVY and FEAR.
ANGER seems like boulders upon his shoulders
ENVY tangled his feet like snakes! A poison to his being!
and FEAR! Yes a lot of FEAR!
FEAR that made him tremble and weakened his
body, heart and soul.
Thus, this traveler did not find bliss.
He lost his track and never found the right way.
He died in a journey full of loneliness and misery.

The other traveler brings forth a light baggage
Anger, envy and fears for him were garbage
What he had carried were – LOVE, HUMILITY and FAITH.
LOVE made him feel light just like traveling with wings
HUMILITY was his antidote for envy! Driving jealousy away!
and FAITH! Yes a lot of FAITH!
FAITH for Him above that strengthened him all
throughout his journey.
Thus this traveler found his way to bliss.
He never lost his track and was always in the right way.
He died in a fulfilled journey with a smile painted on his face.

Life is a journey, we are the travelers.
We’re searching for something called bliss – true happiness.
The end is unknown yet we can choose what to bring along.
Would it be ANGER, ENVY & FEAR or LOVE, HUMILITY & FAITH?
Wow...there's a poetry and story section.
I want to post my fic here, but it might be too long, even my one-shots.
Well, I'll start with my poems. I wrote them during High School when my world was a bit depressing caused by love and family.

Title: Foolish Heart

Oh, foolish heart of mine,
When will you going to learn.
Loving someone from afar,
Who can't love you in return.

You've been in love twice,
And twice your heart breaks.
Haven't you learn from the past,
That you want to do it all over again.

Oh, tender heart of mine,
Love is not always sweet.
There are times that it is bitter,
To people who doesn't know how to feel.
I wrote this on February 15, 2008: doubt. swirling eddies in head. self-confidence dwindles reckless diversions openly suffocate all breaths that expel exhilaration pleasure passion no screaming! answers never discovered sway, sway, sway. belief is gone.

I like this...It reminds me of some of the poems I wrote in high school about love:

“My Final Lullaby”

Be still, so dark my priceless lips do lie
Waiting for the sun to rise up in the sky
And I alone wake from my lullaby
This holy light doth catch upon my eyes.

‘Tis true, yes with my mind do sigh
My mouth doth do expel a silent lullaby
A love song, to which I am to try
To love again, to which I no longer deny.

I see his sun, yes for the last time
I noticed, yes, my heart welled in my eyes
And though I yet have said a final line
Since then, last night refrained not to cry.

Refrain no longer, silent suppressed eyes
Train thouest heart to beat an outward cry
Train thouest lips to sing such lullabies
Train thouest mind to dream on days gone by.

your poems are amazing too!

Thanks so much, Lovegood! I should write more now; I haven't written many poems for the last 2 or 3 years.

sleepninja wrote: how about this? My english teacher in elemntary school made us write our own limericks. So i wrote one about my cat. She said itthe language was inappropriate for school. Haha let me know what you think. (this was in third grade i think)

there once was a cat named spooky.
He was really very kooky.
He licked his paws.
He had no claws.
And he stunk up the house with dookie.

lololollll i love it!!!!
Thanks to all for sharing! I really enjoyed reading these wonderful poems! I haven't written in YEARS! lol probably because I was never any good at it :) Here are two I wrote ages ago - very random - be gentle lol White Symphony worship and manipulate me. dreaming of a bitter lust, an insatiable need; the frantic smooth void leaves s l o w l y as a neurotic commotion, an obsessive indecision, a wet anticipation pulses pulses pulses; filling me. {Flesh flooded vision; mad head essential! Blood and milk; a Goddess moment!} Worlds fall and crash; recalling delicate urges: soul chanting, head soaring. Panting weakly, slip away and after Bliss rinse and repeat.
In girum imus nocte et consuminimur igni
(I have followed passions all my life,
switching them with deftness from time to time;
chasing direction and misdirection
with equal fervor and insistence.)

The studded night sky
the be-jeweled denim shirt
of some giant homemaker craft Queen
stitched and sown together
with cold-precision - seamless -
heaves breast-like and nods at me.
I amble past
the remnants of a child's sand castle
deformed and decayed
protruding from the settled sands
-a cockeyed mass-
a small plastic shovel, half buried,
forgotten in a forest of stalwart sea-grass,
interrupts the landscape
-a garish red flash
seen from the corner of my eye.
The pale moon winces
laid bare by the retreating clouds
settles back
into deep encircling denim arms
and commands the tides.
The blue-gray waves respond in turn
crashing onto the bleached out sand
chasing their salt-tails in foam circles
they run around my ankles and the ruin
with careless, ceaseless indifference,
embrace the red blemish and bear it away:
I enter the circle and I am consumed.

Very pretty, and it certainly is a poem.
Just a random poem I wrote about myself.

wrote: I am the last descendant of devil
I carved '666' on my adam's apple
I get stronger as I eat a holy bible
I blow people's mind as fast as riffle

Far beyond this ground I ascend upon
From the darkest abyss I was born
I obey, bow, and believe to none
The time has come for me to take God's crown

I will turn you human as my follower
You can do nothing but obey my order
The silent night will turn deep, dark, and darker
As I lead the death orchestra with rain of thunder

Doom, destruction, disarray, and death color the earth
The new seeds of my generation will soon birth

hmmm... why is it about yourself? hehe, it sounds creepy... (^-^)
Yeah, because it basically tells about me, myself, my view against this world, what I want to conquer in this world, and stuff. and it is concrete truth.
