This problem still persists until now. I can't edit my really long posts, and I
most of the time can for the short ones. For example: I couldn't edit this thread
http://mydramalist.com/discussions/six-flying-drag... and first I solved the problem by deleting the entire thread and paste my content into a new one and edit there instead. Then, I made another mistake I wished to edit. I gave up making new threads and just noted my changes in the next comment. After that I also wanted to edit my
(very short) comment on that thread, but I couldn't. A few days later I could. It's strange.
It happened when I wrote this thread as well:

http://mydramalist.com/discussions/haeeohwa/29569-...I don't make new threads often, but I notice that it happens when it's the first post in a thread, or when it's a long thread. But, hey, I could edit the first post of this one though:
http://mydramalist.com/discussions/chicago-typewri... I noticed that because I always needed to edit the top post and the thread title whenever I updated the content in new comments. It worked fine only then.
Word count might be the culprit here, but like I said in the very first thread I couldn't edit my
very short comment before.
