Hi & welcome (o^_^o)/

 
[here is my journey through K-drama]~


First I was exposed to English movies ,Indian movies and anime
then my friends gave me some k-drama and j-drama to
watch..now since 2009 I am addicted to k-drama the most..
I like to know  more about Asian culture and language
 
[I can speak ]~  

 
1) Arabic 100% (mother tongue ) ^_^
2) Indian- Urdu 80% (cuz can't write) =_='
3) English 80% (cuz as much as I  learn Eng I can't be satisfied) T^T
4) bits of Korean 20% (hehe not so good huh!..but what to do!! .. I like it )^.^
5) and very little Japanese 1%  ×_×

[my favorite genre]~ ^__^

1) Rom-Com + Happy endings (stuck in a fairy tale world)
2) Rom-Com + Action + Happy endings
3) Romance + Drama + Happy endings
4) Action + thriller + Happy endings
5) comedy + Happy endings 
6) Exception: [49 Days] Romance, Drama, Fantasy
though it was sad i could not drop it .. T~T I simply love it ..
so heartwarming  epic drama .. T^T

Because I often watch drama to escape reality..
so Y chose depressing, sorrowful & tragic dramas !!
 it get reflected on me .. as a result I become sad & gloomy >_< ..

[genres i really don't like ]~  ×_×
1) Horror (first: I do admit freaking out easily..
      second: dead protagonist in the end .. noOo~! )
2) Romance + melodrama (sad endings ,dying, parting,betrayal..
and misunderstanding keeps growing + lasts till the end etc ..)

    i know. i would end up regretting going crazy too. i want to hold a conversation with him. show him that his fans are intelligent people.... but i guess i dont have to worry about it since i wont ever be able to talk to him. but i can dream. right? ^^

    i would like to say that if i ever met him i would be calm cool and collected... but who am i really kidding? i would be jumping up and down, slobbering, and he would have to call some one to get me off of him..

    I just loved Lee Soon Shin so far I think it will be a great drama, cruel palace is just amazing with the plots of concubines and plots insinde the palace that is wonderful :)
    what about you? Did you love The best lee soon shin?

    Yes - That's the moment a drama becomes unrealistic in my eyes -.-;;

    I hate melodramas... but i like good slice-of-life stories (with an accent on "good") though only jdramas (cause of the reason i stated before :D) - f.e.: one of my fav.'s Yasashii Jikan ^^

    You wrote that you like the combination romance-action (me too by the way :D)
    - most favorite in that direction: city hunter <3

    yeah - the reality part is right
    --i think that's much better in jdramas.
    When kdramas try to picture a (sad) story that happened in real life (or should be like a "slice of life" - kind of drama) they mostly become melodramas... they seem unrealistic at the end... i think that's really sad (not because i'm crying too much in those dramas) but because the story itself doesn't stand in the center anymore

    --that's also what i like about mdl - when i'm not sure if it's a tragedy i just have to read some spoilers... (even if i don't think that that's the purpose of the comment-box... :D :D)

    -i think jdramas are mostly indicating love-stories, sometimes it seems like there's nothing going on between the mc's and you just have to think so because the genre's just say so...
    ---i had one drama that was just like that... it ended with me thinking: "and where's the romance??" -- the funny thing about that drama was that it's main story was actually about overcoming society problems with couples that have a large age gap... but until the end i wondered if there even was a couple... ^^;;
    -But apart from that i like romance stories from both kdramas and jdramas, as long as they're happy in the end it's not important if they're japanese or korean lol

    That's a good reason to finish those dramas (even if they have sad endings...)
    i watched the greatest tragedy ever unintentionally... When i was beginning to be interested dramas i didn't knew the popular sides (like dramacrazy etc.). So i had to watch what i found by chance...
    This was how i came upon 1 litre of tears...
    - You can guess how i was sobbing and crying at the ending... Thus 1LoT is the main reason i never ever want to watch a drama again where the main actor/actress gets a "terminal illness" ^^; I just get the creeps and stop those dramas instantly when something like that happens... :D
