I Saw The Tension.....now that's left is a pile of rubbish

I knew that this will happen. What happened to our JaeHyun. The moment where he rejects his childhood best friend and becomes this rude and lost boy. I liked him since episode 1 but the show has been molding his character into something else. Remember Heirs? Kim Woo Bin never able to get Park Shin Hye yet his character was awesome from beginning to him. Not the best comparison here. The plot is going downhill now and I was looking forward her going to college not a vacation trip. I really want the main female lead to be stronger and have more of a backbone. Maybe it's my expectation but I wanted to see more character development from everyone and a fast pacing of a plot that is rejuvenating. This, this is not giving us much so far and it's episode 8....I hope this show picks up or its going to be a flop very soon.

Unknowingly, first couple fight?!

I loved how this drama gave Jia En an opportunity to try out something new like the speech competition and didn't include her as a winner. Especially in life, we all have a time that we aren't proud of and an opportunity that turns out to be a failure. Sometimes in dramas, it always seem like the heroine is winning the competition and barely experiencing failures along the way. I like it how Jia En got to experience this. I completely understand why she was in a bad mood afterwards and needed some space from being near her friends. The fight was perfect! Chuan Lin soon learns that there's a time for everything and maybe, you just need to give her some space before questioning her actions. Great episode though! Very relatable to real life.

Balancing the Two Lovers

At first, I knew I've seen Lee Jae Hee before. Then, I remembered Lee Chang Hee's brother who sent Lee Jae overseas to study hard in order to have a life that his brother never had and of course, he is two-bags of rice guy. In this episode, Seo Mi Do is challenged between two men. She knows that Lee Jae Hee was someone she's met over a 3 days period of vacation and abruptly, she decides to leave early on the airplane back home. I did like the fact that she wanted to leave her vacation past behind and stay with Han Tae Sang and the company. Once I've find out, Lee Jae Hee will be working as well. Things have just became quite complicated. The development between the two leads was quite innocent and cute in their parts. I hope she takes a side in who she will choose. I will find extremely unreasonable if she decides to lead them both on at the same time. The ending was shocking as we, the audience know a mess is coming our way and Seo Mi Do is being torn between two men!

Understanding the female lead

When Han Tae Sang proposes to Seo Mi Do to give her a better life, I feel like it's high pressured, completely too abrupt and too soon. She has no experience in love and his one-sided love (for now). Seo Mi Do has always been living a life with scarcity and troubles. She needs to experience love on her own and be able to fall in love with someone she meets. With the lacking of experience in relationships, she is scared to take on the proposal and live a life with Han Tae Sang even though he can give her everything and knows her quite well since he first met her 7 years ago from a crisis. Seo Mi Do needs time to reflect on her life and be able to grow and discover love with whomever she meets. Even if she meets and falls in love with Lee Jae Hee. I wish she does not become like the main character in Queen of Ambition. That character was too cruel, greedy, and not deserving the life that she had and what others (husband) were helping her. I hope her character develops and realizes who is the most important figure in her life and who will always be there no matter what situation she is in and can accept the true Seo Mi Do? I hope the luxuries that Han Tae Sang gives her doesn't blind her vision. (If you know what I mean). Thumbs up for the same Stanford T-Shirt!!!

The escalation from escaping your true feelings

By far, one of the best episodes is in this drama. In this episode, Lee Jae Ha (still in the teenage phase) tries to hide his feelings and keeps playing games with Kim Hang Ah. This is like me in high school and beginning of college and I understand Lee Jae Ha because I never fell hard for someone and pretend to be a playgirl and play hard to get. For me, I loved the thrill. For Lee Jae Ha, he does the same. Kim Hang Ah recognizes this and fights back while falling for him. Lee Jae Ha struggles with his feelings and the people around them finds that both of them are actually in love but can't face each other. Later, Lee Jae Ha figures out that he fell deeply in love with Kim Hang Ah. The end of the episode shows it perfectly. Now, we know that they cannot deny it no longer.
