disappointing depending on what approach you take towards the drama. The lead actress is mediocre, and I doin;t find her useful- with the actress they were trying ti replicate an aspect of Surgeon Bong Dal Hee. Ah well, the main character was strong enough to carry the interest.

will do, I will eagerly await you appraisals. :D I am currently determinign what sort of drama mood I am in since I can;t seem to find anything to focus on. I'm trying to watch icarnation of money bit I liked giant and salaryman better. Here I am annoyed with something they do especially in the first episodes in terms of comedy. incarnation seems to be a far weaker offering than giant or salaryman and comedy is really insenstive here, at least that's what I think. Other than that I am drifitng between old dramas, rewatching some parts of them. Can't find anything in partocular that would keep me involved. Yes, but they better show their invetiveness. They can't have another Saori. Well I do think that Brain is not that bad of a drama there is a good tension between shin Ha Kyung's character and one of his mentors, Sang Chul, it really is the heart of the drama. the ending may be

so refreshing after that. Aside from Tonbi, which was endearign, I watched Brain, the korean medical drama. I liked the main character- it;s a study of his character, essentially, with everything else playing second fiddle, but his relationship with one of the doctors also keeps the interest. not bad, for a medical drama. That and Shin Ha Kyung is a good actor. I also finally watched memories of matsuko, a really impressionable offering, visually weird, like a dream or collage, the story is pieced together but it has a good message to convey. a beautiful film.

Farah! Hello! How lovely to hear from you! I wush you luck with your exams! Aha, Korean drama slump, yeah they often are similar that's why having too many of them in one run, as I tend to, isn;t always the best idea. But then switching to japanese is very refreshing again. It sounds though like Nine may bring the addiction back :D I watched Tonbi, and I really loved it, it's a trully endearing story about a father and son and their bond. Uchino massaki's spotlight time. Otenki onee-san sounds a bit strange but if you recommend it, i'll have a look :) I am waiting for the subs myself, Farah, but do you really think it;s a good idea to have a sequel? I mean they won't be able to replicate the same memorable finale anymore so I am a bit fearful of it. I loved it most for the take in drama cliches and melodramatic moments turned into a joke it was refereshing. I fear it may not be

work so well together. Hhaha I loved those two myself , there weee hints of a strong understanding developing, I suppose things are left open for them to work at :P maybe it had to do with production requirements, they could have filmed that on the day of airing or something. In any case I'm very happy you are happy with it. So, what are you up to now, then?

Farah! Hello! THank you for your insightful comments about the legal procedures in the Chaser, it's great to read them, very insightful, since not being trained in law I did not pay attention to whether or not a thing like a case within a case can be done, though I found that somewhat puzzling. I'm glad you enjoyed the drama on the whole. Yes, I agree with you on the flashbacks, I also felt that doing the trial in a different way would have guven a more satisfying ending and I'm not sure what ultimately decided to have it this way. The conclusion was pretty much cut as if short. Even so, the ending we had did bring peace of mind to the poor character. What I liked most was how friendship and loyalties were thoroughly tested and they did well on the power corrupts front as well. It is a rare drama, though, I agree, were you get pulled so much into all of the characters and where they

I think the character is worth any tears along the way or possibly at the end of it. To me at least, he is insanely endearing. I like happy endings but I don't think they are common in a saeguk that tries to offer such a sweeping story. Yes, I'm not sure what to watch but I am going to check out That winter as soon as it finishes. Legal high can't come soon enough :D Saiko no Rikon is on my radar. What Galileo has a sequel? I've had a look at some episodes, it's not really my thing but the main character the scientist was likeable. I wonder how the special for Rich man will turn out, I would like to see more Ashaina, I think he remains my favourite character.

ohhh I'll be interested in your opinions on the Chaser! It's quite hollywoody but with a very typically Korean touch. Moreover the main character evokes a lot of sympathy. I m watching a long saeguk called Yi San, where I completely fell in love with the eponymous character. I have also finished watching A tale of wo sisters...nit an easy film to watch, but clever. I think it could have used more connectivity at times, you have to watch it quite closely to try to undersdtand what's actually hapenning.
